    Hey,
    You can create a sitewide banner from Theme Options > Main Settings. But there isn’t an option for a sitewide slider unless you wanted to use the sitewide footer shortcode. Then you could add a kadence slider, but it would be just above the footer, not below the header.
    You can add a slider to each of your pages by using the featured template. Then for you shop pages you can enable a slider from Theme Options > Shop Settings.

    I was wondering whether there was a setting that would stop the kadence slider banner from losing the top and bottom on a high res screen like an imac with 2560px wide resolution. The Respect Image Aspect Ratio works well when the screen size is reduced but after a certain width when increasing the res it starts to crop the top and bottom of the banner.

    Many thanks
    Adrian.

    Hi there,

    Love the theme, but have a question. Here is the link to my website if you click that and see the logo in the centre of the top of the screen, I would like a fullwidth letterbox shape background image, as at the moment it is a lot of whitespace with just a small logo in the centre and it would make it more interesting. I can’t find any easy way to do this. Could you help me achieve this for my website please.

    thanks

    Alex

    Hey,
    1. That login doesn’t seem to be working for me?

    But I can see that you have set all those old posts as “sticky” meaning they will show above the latest because they are set to sticky… I’m not sure why you would do that but the reason your home page is showing the latest is because the home page “latest posts” ignores sticky and shows the latest.. A blog page doesn’t do that by design because if someone sets a post to sticky they usually what it sticky.

    So best thing for you would be to go through and uncheck the box for sticky post on all those posts.

    2. I’m not seeing this banner on your site? Did you clear your caching?

    Yeah! Every feature of the free theme is available with the premium!

    Just let us know if you need help finding any of the features and we’ll gladly help you find them.

    let me know if you’re able to locate the banner when you go back to working on your site.

    Hello William,

    the option for a sitewide banner should be found in Theme Options> Main Settings. It should be near the bottom of the settings for that area.

    Be sure that you’ve deactivated the Virute/Pinnacle toolkit since upgrading, as it’s not necessary with the premium themes.

    Double check there and let me know what you find!

    Hi. I thought I just posted this but not
    sure so I’ll post it again.
    I just upgraded to Premium from free. I love
    The Virtue Theme but I am a novice at WordPress.

    In the free version there is an option for
    Setting a “site wide banner”. In the Premium
    version I can’t find that option. This was one
    Of my top reasons for upgrading. Please tell
    me that setting is still there somewhere in premium??

    If anyone could help me with this issue it
    Would be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

    You can use this css:

    .boxed.stickyheader .is-sticky #kad-banner {
        margin-left: -40px;
        margin-right: -40px;
        padding: 0 25px;
    }

    How are you wanting this to look?

    The Kadence slider would be my first suggestion, easy to add and make a banner with. (you don’t have to have multiple slides).

    Hello Bill,

    In the future, feel free to start new topics for new support questions. Try adding this CSS and let me know if this is what you’re wanting:

    .container.virtue_sitewide_banner {
        padding-top: 20px;
    }

    Hi, I have compressed all the banners on the site even further with one of the banners being less than 50kb(this is the “our history page” and the banner has failed to load twice just now. If I refresh the page it will then load. This has happened using Chrome and Opera. As I said this has just started happening.

    Hi – On my home page, I added revolution slider as a banner. I noticed that there is a large white space between my header/logo and the slider at the top, and also, between the bottom of the slider and my next block (in my case, most recent blogs). Is there a way to decrease that white space? Thanks. Erica

    Thanks for the quick response Ben! Here’s the link https://www.shesherownceo.com/ And just for the homepage – the widget below the banner.
