Topic: Parent page for staff member
Hello,
I am using two different menus and two different logos for two pages on my website (www.altituda.si/sport and http://www.altituda.si/pro).
For example: for logos I am using this CSS:
.page-id-721 #kad-banner #logo .kad-standard-logo{
background-image: url(*Login to see link !important;
}.parent-pageid-721 #kad-banner #logo .kad-standard-logo{
background-image: url(*Login to see link !important;
}.page-id-665 #kad-banner #logo .kad-standard-logo{
background-image: url(*Login to see link !important;
}.parent-pageid-665 #kad-banner #logo .kad-standard-logo{
background-image: url(*Login to see link !important;
}So I have a problem because I have Staff at PRO page and SPORT page. The staff is different, but some members are the same.
I am asking if there is any possibility to set a parent page for each staff member? I can duplicate the members which are in both groups (PRO and SPORT) and set different parent page for each staff member if that is possible.
Staff member for altituda.si/sport should be on the URL http://www.altituda.si/sport/staff/member1
Staff member for altituda.si/pro should be on the URL http://www.altituda.si/pro/staff/member2Staff 1 (Sport): *Login to see link
Staff 2 (Pro): *Login to see linkIf you know any solution for this problem, it would be great 🙂
Thank you for your help,
Matevz

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Javascript problem
On my website I would like a ‘weather report’ banner. So Meteo France provided me with this code:
<script charset=’UTF-8′ src=’*Login to see link type=’text/javascript’></script>
I’ve put it in pagebuilder in the Enhanced Text widget but it comes out looking like this:
*Login to see linkinstead of this:
*Login to see linkStrange enough it works in iWeb (which I rather stop using) via HTML-snippets
Maybe this question doesn’t belong here, but I hope you can give me a hint.
Thanks in advance,

March 20, 2015 at 2:55 pm #34834yeah,
Your logo: https://et-buchholz.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Banner-test-Frank.pngIs pretty large. Upload one at the size you need. like 360px wide.

March 19, 2015 at 10:43 am #34652I always recommend w3 total cache over super cache.
Your home page images could all be sized down a bit. doesn’t seem like any of theme have been compressed and saved for web? For example this image: http://andylubertinaturephotography.nl/andylubertinaturephotography.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Zeearendbanner3324.jpg
is 1.1MB and I just opened in photoshop and saved for web. The file size after is 0.2mb.
Makes a huge difference over the entire site.

March 18, 2015 at 9:37 am #34525Seems like you have some kind of caching? I can’t get the site to show me the home page.
Either way the header offset is not “headerwrap” unless you’ve changed code?
You should use:
#kad-banner

March 17, 2015 at 12:35 pm #34441Great! Should I still use this code also
div#kad-banner-sticky-wrapper { background: #fff; }or just use the new one?

Perfect, works great!
One last thing, I am using the header layout with the logo and the right side widget. When the browser is about 768px, the image I used in my widget, which is just over 400px wide, won’t fit, so it drops down. What width of an image would work there? Once the browser goes even smaller, it drops beneath the logo, which I like, it is just at the in between stages that the browser is too to big to have it drop, but too small for the image to fit. Hope you see what I mean. It is my Call us banner, in case you need a visual. TY

MattIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben,
I’ve been having a lot of problems with Revolution Slider. I set up a simple banner one slide with five layers (and two static layers) and have been trying to do two things with them.
1) Get them to loop and not stop at the fifth layer – General settings ‘Loop & Progress’ is set to loop, but it never does. Also set to Shuffle mode, but never does.
2) Establish a transparent background behind the slides, for when they are loading – I can never get rid of a colour in the General Settings ‘Appearance’ no matter what I do. I even tried using a transparent (blank) png file as the bg and that didn’t work – it always defaults to the colour chosen. I’ve tried every imaginable combination of settings and options both within the Slider settings and the Slide settings.I’ve spent hours online searching through Theme Punch support and other forums and all I seem to be getting is that it’s a plugin or theme conflict. However, I tried it with a fresh install of both Virtue and Rev Slider on a test site (with no other plugins) and still I am presented with the same issues. I also did a bunch of searches through the Virtue forum to look for answers, but nothing. Has anyone else had these issues? Very frustrating…

March 11, 2015 at 6:08 pm #33881You would just use css like this:
@media (min-width: 992px){ #topbar { position: fixed; width: 100%; z-index: 1000; top: 0; } body.admin-bar #topbar { top:32px; } #kad-banner { padding-top: 48px; } }Ben

Hello there. I have got a row below my banner that has a large gap between the content and the bottom of the row. My setting for padding are standard. I have set the back ground to black so it makes it easier for you to see my issue. This is the bar with Paypal and Your account in it. How can I reduce the distance between the widgets and the bottom of the row. I have tried all settings to no avail. Kind regards, Paul

March 2, 2015 at 12:02 am #32805You seem to be using the virtue banner for a logo?
You can force the secondary menu to stay with css but that will make for a really awkward mobile menu since you would be cramming in so much on one line

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Modify logo link?
March 1, 2015 at 4:18 pm #32774You would have to edit the code for that. Since the logo just links to a page you would need to link it to an anchor in a page.
If you edited the templates/header.php file though a child theme you can change the logo link. NOTE: If you are using the shrink header you need to edit templates/header-style-three.php
on line 16 you will see:
<a class="brand logofont" href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>/">change to
<a class="brand logofont" href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>/#kad-banner">Ben
