    I just made a contactform with plugin contactform 7 and made a page with the code in.
    I put template of the page to pagebuilder becuase we use it on all pages but now you cant see the text(its black) where can i change this?

    sorry I don´t understand very well what you mean. As far as I know I don´t have any plugins to translate. (I have had a look at my list of plugins, I thing none of them is for tranlating, maybe it´s something else?)
    Because it is a carousel that comes with the theme, that´s why I thought the title could be changed through the theme opcions (like I previously did with the ones for the home page, but this carousel is at the end of the posts).
    Anyways I leave you the list of the plugins I am using, in case I am missing something.
    I Hope we can sort it out somehow.

    I can add other widgets with no problem. But something about the custom menu is glitching.

    The user asserts they are having this problem on IE 8 and on IE 11. I have requested details (versions) but am not co-located so can’t look over their shoulder to verify.

    Regarding forms and plugins, the site uses the MemberFind.me suite of plugins that enable membership management and user directory, and event calendar, signup and registration. We also use Contact Form 7, and Mailchimp subscription form.

    The URL is http://miramar.org/ and the form that started the controversy is the signup for a trip on the 4th of July, which can be accessed here http://miramar.org/lodge-trips-to-waitsfield-vt/#!event/2016/7/1/july-4th-weekend-3-day-car-trip-to-vermont without logging in.

    Feel free to test it all the way through registration, however PLEASE enter “TESTING ONLY – DISREGARD THIS REGISTRATION” in all comment fields of the Google Registration Form which you will be re-directed to after Signing Up, so we can identify and delete.

    Hi,

    If I try and upload an image, the media gallery shows only the broken image icon, not the expected thumbnail. If I click to edit the image, it appears as expected, but I cannot use it in the site. Effectively I can upload an image, but it’s broken and I can’t use it.

    I came across this while trying to upload a favicon – it just wouldn’t work – so tried testing with normal images direct to the gallery.

    WordPress 4.5.1, Virtue Premium 3.6.4 All plugins say compatible to WP 4.5.1, they are:

    Richard, Ben has right but I do stand to my recommendation. There are many issues with newsletters plugins, but make sure they are compatible with other plugins, do support SMTP, may provide easy option to design a form (or add least work with other ones, like Contact Form 7) and possibly support an onsite autoresponder. I made my research some time ago. Try it out! It cost you nothing to test KNEWS, it is just a plugin. Install it, go to the settings, and then create a dummy but real working newsletter. The worst it can happened is it does not work as you have hoped for. Again, install KNEWS, test it, and then go for other ones to compare against. This way, you learn what each newsletter plugin is can do. I have installed and tested hundreds of plugins over the time, more than 50 each month and know exactly what I’m doing in this field. Make notes of each specification, but be aware of what you need. Make also sure that the basic specs of a free plugin are enough to cover your needs but still may still gives you room to expand in the future.

    As for SMTP, go ONLY for the ‘Postman SMTP’. It is the best one for WP in the world. Install that plugin first, test it, and then continoue with your newsletter plugin!

    Oh wonderful Ben, the css code for the buttons are looking great now, exactly what I wanted.

    I already have Contact Form 7, so if the theme doesn’t enable to change the button on Contact page, I’ll follow your suggestion.

    1. You can add this css:

    2. That isn’t a theme option to change so you would have to change in the template (I would suggest using a child theme for that). Or you would just need to use a plugin like : https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/

    That plugin would let you customize each part of any contact form you make.

    Something strange happened today. We had problem with the site and the pages went blank. I then deactivated the plugins via FTP. I managed to get the site back up and I started to activate the plugins one by one. I activated Woocommerce, but the category pages just wouldn’t show up. I have checked in the menus and the URL seems to be ok. The product pages in Woo are working just fine. Any idea what might have happened and do you have a “cure”?

    (The category pages are the ones in the lower menu, e.g. “Display & expo”)

    Hey,
    There isn’t a built in option for this using the contact template. One option would be to use the feature template and add your contact form to the page using contact form 7 ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ ).
    Or you could use the contact page template and not use the contact forms map, but use the virtue shortcode map. But in order for the layout to look right you would need some css. Let me know if you want to go this route and I can help with that.

    This isn’t something I can help with. It’s beyond what theme support is. I suggest asking contact form 7 authors But most likely they are going to tell you something like that would mean you need to hire a developer.

    Hi everyone,

    Great plugin, used it a number of times now. I need to ask a big big favour.

    I would like to let users select a car model from a drop down menu, once say “ford” has been selected then all of the ford models would show.

    How do I go about doing this? I know its a very very big ask.

    This is what I would like to achieve Please see car reviews so you know what I mean.

    If anyone could help me it would be fantastic.

    2. In your theme options> misc settings turn off select2.

    Hi everyone,

    I’m developing a site for a friend of mine (as part of my portfolio to help me get a graduate web developer job). Please see site here If you scroll right down to the bottom of the page and click on test you will see the embedded form into the pop up window.

    I wanted to know, I want to do this for each service they provide (car servicing and car repairs) I want to have an individual form (there will be about 80 forms)

    Can I set the subject line so my client knows what service the user is requiring instead of the client having to fill this in?

    I also I want to add a drop down menu so they can choose what car make and model they have along with what fuel type the car is. as you can see at the moment this dosent work.

    Can anyone help me with this please as I think this would really help instead of having one big “request a quote form” that I have at the moment.
