In reply to: Contact form not sending email
I have this same contact issue:
I contacted the host and they said the following:
Hello,I just submitted the contact form and checked the mail log. Mail log is provided below:
2015-05-25 13:46:23 1YwzGR-0008II-N4 <= [email protected] U=chuckriv P=local S=710 [email protected] T=”[My Blog Contact] From Zee” for [email protected]

2015-05-25 13:46:25 1YwzGR-0008II-N4 CompletedAs per the mail log, contact form is configured to send email to [email protected]. Looks like you have not yet configured it correctly and it still has a test mail account mentioned that doesn’t exist. You need to check the Contact form settings and make sure that the Receiving/FROM address is set to a VALID email address that can receive emails.

.sidebar .widget-first { margin-top: 6px; } .postlist { margin-top: 4px; }2. same ^
3.
.kad_img_upload_widget { clear: both; margin-bottom:1px; }4. In each row you can change the bottom margin. In each widget you can use pagebuilder to help you change the margins or paddings depending on the widget.
5. You would have to use a child theme and edit the templates/comment.php file or use a plugin that overrides the wordpress comments. This is also true for the submit button.
6. The diagonal lines are added by the browser.
#commentform label { color: blue; text-transform: uppercase; font-weight: normal; } #commentform textarea, #commentform .col-md-4 input { border-color: blue; }7. remove whatever plugin you added that is adding that. It’s not a default thing.
8. The contact forum is on the right because your page content would show on the left. I’m adding css to move it to center which means the page content will now appear above the contact form.
9. You can do that right in the page itself. Just remove the form title in your page options.
10. You can’t remove something in the text unless you edit the template with a child theme. Or use a plugin to create your own contact form like contact form 7.
.contactform label { color: blue; text-transform: uppercase; } .contactform label b { font-weight: normal !important; }11. The diagonal lines are added by the browser.
.contactform textarea, .contactform input.full, .contactform input.kad-quarter { border-color: blue; }12. You can’t change something in the text unless you edit the template with a child theme. Or use a plugin to create your own contact form like contact form 7.

In forum: Virtue ThemeI am wondering what would the CSS codes would be to make the following adjustments:
BLOG:
1. The top margin of the Blog List Content to align with the top edge of the Sidebar Search Box
2. The top margin of the individual blog entries to align with the top edge of the Sidebar Search Box
3. I have set a border for the image on Page Builder and the bottom border is not displaying on desktop, for this specific image size
4. How do I adjust the spacing between the elements of the blog content in page builder?LEAVE A REPLY SECTION:
5. Change the text “Reply” to “Comment”, the changing it to “LEAVE A COMMENT”; Also transforming it to all uppercase
6. On the entry form:
Transform text to all uppercase, change font colour and unbold text
Change the border colour (including the diagonal lines on the bottom left corner of the comment box)
Change text to “SUBMIT” on the button, transforming it to all uppercase as well.
7. How to remove the reCAPTCHA box.CONTACT PAGE:
8. Centre the contact form to the page
9. Remove the “Send an Email” text and move the form up, to fill the empty space
10. Transform text of form labels to all uppercase, change font colour and unbold text; Also removing the colon on the field labels that have them.
11. Change the border colour (including the diagonal lines on the bottom left corner of the message box)
12. Change text to just “SEND” on the button, transforming it to all uppercase as well. Thanks!

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,

The answer from Max Mega Menue Support to the problem:
———————————————————————————————————————
Hi Walter,First off, thanks for upgrading!
The problem is due to a common class that lots of themes (and Max Mega Menu Pro) use to recommend plugins to the user. We use it in MMM Pro to ensure the free version of MMM is also installed. Themes use it to recommend compatible plugins to the user.
The class had a security update a few weeks ago. We’ve applied the security update to MMM Pro, but there are some themes out there that are still using the old version of the class. This is what’s causing the error.
Is there an update for your theme available?
Regards,
Tom—

.contactform input.full, .wpcf7 input, #kad-feedback-new-post input.full, .contactform textarea, .wpcf7 textarea, #kad-feedback-new-post textarea, form.checkout input.input-text, .woocommerce input.input-text, form.checkout #order_comments, form.checkout textarea{ border-color: #dedede; }2. Is this what your thinking?
#logo { margin-top: -6px; } #topbar { z-index: 1000; position: relative; }3. You have the margin bottom at 60 set for your rows in page builder? Is that what your wanting to change?
4. You can add this:
@media (min-width: 992px) { html, body { height: 100%; } html body.wide #wrapper.container { min-height: 100%; position: relative; padding-bottom: 148px !important; } #containerfooter { position: absolute; bottom: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; } }You know, we’ve gone over the footer thing… https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/a-few-small-css-things/

I’ve downloaded the contact form 7 and removed the old contact form.
The only thing now is that it is shown as one long column, where as before the contact form sat nicely to the side of the contact info.
Can the layout be changed back to the original look?
Many thanks,
JoIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Contact for question
May 16, 2015 at 6:43 pm #41146Hey,
So with something like this you would just use a plugin like contact form 7. The theme already has styling for it and it will give you options for a custom form with extra featured. The built in one with the theme is just meant to be a simple forum and it’s really customizable.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi there, I have tried many ways of changing the font size on my Contact Form 7 submit button, but I am out of ideas! How can I do this?
[submit class:button id:form-submit “Submit”] this is what I am using now and I’d like to have a larger font size for the submit button plus the same class and id!
Font size just like the entire form.

Hi Andrea,
You can add a Woocommerce shopping cart widget to your sidebar (Appearance > Widgets). As for the contact you can add the Virtue:Contact/vcard widget. Or you can use a plugin like this one- https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
Hope that helps!Hannah

April 22, 2015 at 4:41 pm #38383That isn’t part of the theme options. You would have to edit the code. and if your going to go that far I recommend you just use a contact form plugin like contact form 7.

March 27, 2015 at 12:02 pm #35535You should see this message: “Thanks, your email was sent successfully.”
If you don’t something is wrong. can you send a link.
If you want to customize the contact form more I recommend just using a plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/

March 23, 2015 at 11:12 am #35079My recommendation is just to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
and that way you can create your own custom form without any need for coding.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Jiri,
There isn’t an option to have a contact-feature page. If you want to have an image above your contact form you would need to use the feature template then use a plugin to display the contact form. We like this one- https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/Are you using a portfolio plugin? The theme’s portfolio is pretty basic and easy to use. Not quite sure what you would want to duplicate.
Definitely check out our tutorials- kadencethemes.com/tutorials/

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben and Hannah,
I am having similar issues with Pagebuilder conflicting with certain pages in my site(Blog, Membership, Student Advisory Council). I have deactivated all of the plugins. And reactivated them one at a time. Reduced my contact form plugin to Contact 7 and its extension. Pages work and edits update when Pagebuilder is deactivated, but jacks up my page formats.
There is not private reply option below. Sent login credentials via email.
Thank you!
Janet WatkinsIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Page Builder Pluging do not Work
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Home Page and submenu (please see below)
a) You will still have the same slider on your page, but you need to use pagebuilder if you want any content to show above the slider. Then you can just add a revolution slider widget through pagebuilder and select the same slider. Does that make sense?
b) So, were you able to change the transition type?
c) There isn’t a contact template with a sidebar included in the theme. You would either need to edit the theme, or you can use contact plugin like this one- https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ then just use a sidebar page template.Hannah
