Hey,
Are you using a custom SMTP plugin or is the mail running through the host server.

You can do a quick test. install a plugin like contact form 7. Add it to a test page and attempt to send yourself a message. If it’s not going through then your have an issue with the mail server and you need to use a custom SMTP plugin or get your host to set up the mail server correctly on your sever.

thanks a lot for your quick response. I checked out Contact Form 7 and Fast Secure Contact Form.
I decided to use Fast Secure Contact Form. Or do you know of any reason against this plugin?

Hey Andi,
Virtue comes with a contact page template (in your edit page under page attributes) and a contact widget (virtue: Contact/Vcard). If you want something more extensive then I would recommend Contact Form 7.

I wonder if there is an internal Contact Form in Virtue Premium or do I need a plugin like Contact Form 7?
I have the following PlugIns installed:
– Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
– Page Builder by SiteOrigin
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
but when I want to add a widget there is no contact form.

Hey,
Yes that is how the plugin would work, it’s only targeting the main content… the area in the page where you can add content. It can’t target page template added stuff. Like the contact form or a portfolio grid. You would need to add everything through the content box itself. so that means using pagebuilder instead of a page template and a plugin like contact form 7 instead of the theme contact form.

Hello,

There is a problem when you set this for contact page when you have attributes set at Contact page options, only the content is hidden, map and contact form stays visible. I also tried using [O_U logged_status=”in”]You only see this if you are logged in[/O_U], but you cant get all the content in.

Unfortunately an unwanted side effect is that text in any input field with a white background (contact form, all of WooCommerce) is no longer visible do to the white on white effect. Thanks Hannah. The contact form isn’t a plugin (a least I don’t think so) is a template with the theme. Not sure what to deactivate?

I have since uploaded Contact Form 7 plug-in and it’s working fine.

Are you just talking about the style? The theme won’t stop a contact form from working.

Try adding this css in your custom css box and tell me if it’s what you want.

I would like to put a next button at the bottom of each tab. I am using contact form 7 inside the tab which works fine but on a mobile it would be better if the user could use a next button at the bottom of tab rather than going back up to top.
