I’m just finishing the website and i tested in tablet and mobile phone.
I found this issues:

1) Tablet (iPad):
— Page Projects/Projects: The second image it’s not ok (the place, the order, the size).
— Post page: Some widgets has some fields not centered:
-> Archive: Box Select Field. It’s possible to center?
-> Categories: Name categories is centered, but Number of Posts are at right. It’s possible to center too?
-> Recent Comments: It’s possible to center the lines?

2) Mobile Phone (iPhone 5):
— Page Projects/Projects: -> Title has a problem. It’s cut.
-> The second image it’s not ok (the place, the order, the size).
— Page: About: Title has a problem. It’s cut.
— Blog Page: the same as Tablet for widgets.

when i go to our website page *Login to see link
when the browser is full screen it looms good but when you make the screen smaller(like an iPad) the image menu’s squares will lose their spaces and all get messy.
can you see this? also how can we resolve this?

i just turned on custom grid for iPad so i can change the layout.

Hi there, I am having trouble with product category grid images display and links on mobile (and ipad vertical layout). Category image grid settings: 4 columns, horizontal thumbnail wide landscape. Images are displayed but links are not clickable so can’t open product category, only see thumbnails.

web – works
ipad – works on horizontal layout (as then all 4 columns are displayed), not on vertical (3 columns are displayed)
mobile – doesn’t work (3 columns on horizontal layout, or 2 on vertical).

How do I fix this please.

So i Tested the site on pc on a Samsung mobile and a Samsung tablet.
All worked perfect , but When i look at the website with an ipad than pictures and text is all wrong.

Hi Ben,

I checked my websites on an iPad but I experienced an issue with menu overlay that doesn’t scroll at all both in portrait and landscape position.
these the issues:
1- iPad landscape position have to show the same header than website but shows empty header with the menu button symbol
2- iPad Portrait position shows empty header with the menu button symbol
3- Android Tablet landscape position shows correctly the same header with menu than website and works (OK!)
4- Android Tablet Portrait position shows empty header with the menu button symbol

In point 1-2-4 clicking on the menu button, menu appears in overlay filling the screen height but do not scroll while scrolls the underneath page. Trying to rotate and suddenly scrolling it makes a jerky scroll and reset to screen height at the same position.
Important note: I made a second test and seems that if I’m in a page different than homepage the overlay menu centers it on the currently page visited and do not let scroll the menu.
Can you check on an iPad or other mobile if you get the same problems?

Awesome. That works. Many thanks.

Only thing is the “Submit” button now isn’t quite centered one some devices (iPads). It loads centered but then it jumps over about 10px to the left.

I’ve seen some people suggest it can be resolved with “-webkit-appearance: none;” but I can’t seems to get any results. Maybe I’m entering it in the wrong place. I know it’s a third party plugin, but perhaps you’ve seen this before?

HI Ben,

for padding 3, you are right as far as a user views the page on a desk top or laptop because the “Add to Cart” at the bottom does appear as long as the cursor hovers on that product ont the shop page.

However, in the case of mobile device like Iphone and Ipad, there’s no cursor to hover on the product. wo when the shop page loads, what you will see is a large white empty space. and there’s why I request help to redcue padding 3.

Since the white empty space is due to the “Add to cart” button at the bottom, I would request your help to remove that so that the amount of white empty space gets reduce .

Is there a CSS code that can do it ?

I futher tested. I don’t think the code works at all.

When I tap on the hamburger button and the button drop down, the menu will remain drop down regardless I press the forward or backward key of the safari broswer on iphone.

However, in the case of ipad, the drop down menu does not remain drop down regardless of me pressing the forward or backward key of the safari browser.

Pleeas help me,

the codes only fix the behavior on my othr thread. See following behavior

Behavior 1 Fixed with Hannah Code:
———–————————————–

Top bar is fixed with hamburger navigation button on the extreme left of the top bar

Top bar will remain fix as you scroll down

The following happen with Mobile phone POTRAIT orientation.

Home page > Tap on the “hamburger navigation button” on the top left corner > Drop down menu > Tap “Shop” > loads to the Shopping page , drop down menu retracts > Tap back button of phone browser> Loads back to the previous page > menu is drop down.

After inserting your code, tap back the menu does no remain drop down. (Behavior 1 Fixed)

It did no fix the issue of this thread. Which is display on Ipad:

<Home> <Shop> <Cart> <Hamburger> <Your cart> <search input box>

The expectation is to see only this display on the top menu in ipad, regardless of whatever orienation

I am satisfied with how it looks on desktop, using the fullwidth slider. I’m using flex for the mobile, and I am also satisfied with how that looks. However, the dimensions for the mobile do not properly resize to a tablet in portrait mode when the “use mobile slider for tablet” option has been turned on. On the other hand, the desktop version is cutting off since it’s displaying it at full width.

Is the best tactic just to choose a different slider for the desktop that resizes better for ipad? Or is there a way to continue using the fullwidth slider for desktop, keep using the flex for the mobile and use a 3rd option for the tablet?
