My logo is to big on iPad, You got me CSS to limit logo in mobile, it looks good on any mobile but the iPad. I’m also missing search on iPad. How can i fix the issue?

Hello I’m using virtue premium with buddypress and it seems that on the registration page s user on a tablet or iphone (assuming android mobile as well but do not have one to test) cannot fill out the fields. No text can be entered as when you clikc on the input field the cursor does not enter it ready for you to type?
The people at buddypress seem to think it has something to do with the theme so I was hoping for some advice on how to fix this please?
Please note I’ve tested it on an ipad and it works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cleared my browsing history several times, did a disk cleanup, nothing changed. I can’t see the icons on my desktop or laptop, using Chrome, explorer, firefox and edge. I can only see them on my ipad.

I don’t know that this is a Virtue problem, per say. I have no idea what’s causing this. It’s good to know that others can see the icons OK.

Hi Hannah, this is what I do. I can see and open all of my 25 first topics but when I click on page 2 to see the other topics, I get error 404. This time, I am trying with an IPad with Safari, same issue. So it is not related to the browser.

Hi Ben,
Thanks a lot for update, this fix the scroll issue but after update my Layout is broken, only on smartphone: some row created with PageBuilder are no more responsive and this broke some parts of page layout.

I’ve tried to switch theme to default(twentysixteen) and there is no problems, i’ve tried to switch to virtue premium and there is this issue, the same on child theme.

I’ve tried to create a new row an a page with issue and update but can’t fix this.

Every try with cleared cache of course.

This problem is only on small size devices like smartphone (i’ve tested with iphone 5s), on ipad works fine. How i can fix this?

Yeah on mobile this would be a little different. I supposed on ipad in landscape you would need this css:

Which all together would look like this:

OOPs. We declared victory too soon. The code works great on a desktop and is OK on a phone. But it’s a problem on a retina display iPad. The 300 pixel image ends up taking out a big area of the slider.

1. Is there a way, for the form text size to increase on smaller devices?

I see that if a window is decreased on a desktop, the contact form size …is still readable and nice. But the same size on an ipad , shows the form really small and the text gets terribly small on a phone.

Is there a way with media queries to increase the text size proportionately, or maybe even for the form to be displayed below the picture? ( only for ipad portrait and lower sizes?

2. How can I reduce the size of the default message box?

But Then I discover that in my Iphone and Ipad it´s a very different matter. The colours are very different, the menus don´t show, it looks very strange and doesn´t function the way it´s supposed to. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to make it work? I have installed WPtouch, but it didn´t solve the problem.
Very thankful for some help.

No, no, no….I dont mean to frustrate you …. I changed that css myself because it wasn’t looking correct on the desktop and ipad version with it. ( I changed it back to your code now …You can check it out. I just didn’t want to harass you, and was trying to figure it out myself )

…By changing it to 80-20, it was looking as I wanted it on the ipad and the desktop…but the mobile was going haywire.

With the 70-30 code, it looks good on the mobile, but the tablet and desktop look go haywire.

I was looking to start the variation attributes at the same point where the add to cart starts …

Dont stress about it … if its not possible, I will leave it at the 80-20 option, so it atleast looks good on two devices.

On my desktop, I am using Chrome and it is just fine. On both the iphone and ipad, I checked both chrome and safari and am having problems. If you look on the desktop, you see an image of a river cruise. then the call to action. then a carousel of featured posts. then my latest blog posts. That’s what it should look like.

On my iphone, you see an image of Nuremberg which is from on of my blog posts but shouldn’t be in that position. Then nothing. On my Ipad, you see the river cruise image, but the featured posts carousel isn’t showing up. Also, the blog post that posted this morning isn’t there.

before, the Ipad, Iphone, and desktop all rpetty much looked the same

No, it doesn’t do it on the demo. You don’t have a sticky header on demo style 2, so I tried switching that off and all is well! However, I’d like to keep the sticky header – and I have discovered that with a sticky header, the scroll jumps on an ipad and the header is still sticky. Which it’s supposed to be off isn’t it? Perhaps that’s something to look at? It’s a shame, because on a mobile device, to keep the nav in view on a longer page is an advantage.
With the hack, I can’t use shrink header as there’s no navigation on the ipad.
Do you have an ipad to look at?

Sorry about the site being off – the data centre at Heart Internet lost power and some services are still rebooting, 5 hours later. Caused a lot of problems.
