    Hello,

    I was creating a website and was ready to launch today, however, I’ve noticed at the last moment after all my updates that wpml has no effect on translations anymore.
    When I try to use string translation, the language doesn’t update. Another huge problem is, that whatever settings I change in the theme options menu – such as language, titles and so on, it simply doesn’t update anymore. I can try and change it hundred times and it will revert to the same original name.

    Whaterver is in english is stuck in english and whaterver is in my native language, slovak, is in Slovak and trying to translate it has no effect. Trying to change the name of portofilo carousel or latest blog posts has no effect either.

    Hi John,
    You can change this from Theme Options > Language Settings.

    Hi Hannah
    I will use the translation. That’s it, in plain language I would like to keep the shop without the addition of a cart or the creation of an account because the law will oblige me to make a declaration of detentions of personal data. So a CSS code would suit me. I would also like to be able to use the wallet option, then I would see if I can keep both, the idea being to keep the shop in case I can use it someday. A mix of both to achieve the most aesthetic presentation possible.
    Any idea on your part is welcome.

    You’re using the woo extras. WPML won’t “translate” through the woo_extras product gallery.

    If you need images to change based on language then you would need to turn off the woo extras product gallery.

    When deleting or changing pictures within the gallery of a product in the original language (=German) the picture still shows up in the English version.
    The gallery_sync is set to „translate“

    The WPML support told me, that the gallery pictures should be displayed like the product picture in the translation mask, but they aren’t. So I tried to delete them in the English version of the product: but there the pictures are signed with a „Locking-symbol“, so they can’t be deleted there.

    Hey,
    You don’t translate the slider, just make two. Then let’s say you’re adding in your home page use the “shortcode” option for the home slider and add your primary language slider shortcode.

    Then in the string translations, you can translate that shortcode with the secondary language shortcode.

    Hello Support team!

    I can’t find anywhere how to change the labels of the fields in Contact Form (Name, Email, Message, Send Email text on button, and the error/success message texts), because I’d like to translate it into other language.

    And my other question is: email is not sent right now, should I set anything else?

    1. I’ve bought the Virtue Theme for $45 and want to know wether I should pay this sum annually or I will not be charged more?
    2. I want to use the Theme for language-versions made as a underdomen, like english.site.com & deutch.site.com. Is it possible or I need to buy some extra licencses?

    Hi

    I am setting up a new site for classes and workshops using the Ascend theme, and I would like to override the portfolio ‘project’ term (as in ‘next project’ or ‘previous project’) to say ‘workshop’ but I don’t see this listed as an option in the language settings. Is there another way to do this?

    Hello,

    I have a widget with a testimonial carrousel showing on the home page.

    1 – I would like to show the “Read more” on different languages. Spanish works fine but Dutch it does not. Using Polylang. ( I have changed the strings on the polylang options as well).

    2 – I would prefere that when someone click on “Read more” it would take him to all testimonial page on not just to read that specific review. Is this possible?

    Hi,

    Hi hope you can help, is there any option to change the location of the swatch lavel on hover as it is currently showing above the variations image.

    My problem is:

    1) When a variation is not available it shows the tag “Not Available” but is behind the the swatch label on hover so you can’t actually see it. How can i change the location of either the not available or the swatch label on hover?

    2) is there any way i cant replace the text “Not Available” for my the one in my language?

    Hey Sylvie,

    When changing between languages, does the WordPress editor automatically switch from page builder to the visual or text editor? Do you get a prompt that warns you about the switch before the change happens?

    I have an issue with WPLM language switcher.
    I put into extras and played around with the different options – doesn’t show up.
    I didn’t have any issues with switcher in Virtue before.

    Hi Brian,
    It seems to me like your icon menu items are pointing to their correct pages in accordance with the language. Is there a specific item you’re referring to? Have you tried clearing your cache?

    Hi Markus,
    From my understanding, you can’t use the string translation to translate widgets. You would need to make a widget per language. Would that work for you?
