In reply to: Store notice blocking top row
Hi David,
Thank you for reaching out,
The Store Notice is blocking the header top row menu due to the transparent header on the home page.
As a workaround to this:
1. Temporarily DISABLE Transparent Header on your home page. Here is a screencast for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/nOuJ0oke
2. Change the Store Notice Placement to BOTTOM. Here is a screencast for your reference:

April 1, 2024 at 3:19 pm #288073Hi @alvimutmex,
For the author link, when the user has a website set in their profile, the author link would use this URL. To change this to link the viewers to the author’s archive instead, you can remove the Website information from the user’s profile so that it will redirect to the author’s archive instead.
To resolve this issue and redirect users to the author’s archive page instead, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Users > All Users.
- Edit the user’s profile.
- Find the website field and remove any URL present.
- Leave the field blank.
- Save the changes.
- Test the author archives to confirm the redirection now functions correctly.
Check the screen recording for reference: https://share.zight.com/d5u2KENP
If the issue persists, kindly go to Rank Math SEO > Titles & Meta > Authors > Author Archives and make sure the author archives option is enabled.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

March 30, 2024 at 1:19 pm #288060Hello,
Could someone explain to me or point me to a relevant article for showing a list of categories instead of a list of posts on a custom post type archive page.
For example – “locations” custom post type with taxonomies created for “cities”

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Dynamic Tabs with Repeater Block
March 28, 2024 at 3:44 am #288050In this context, I have another question. When I use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to nest a repeater within another repeater, the nested repeater is not recognized by the Kadence repeater block at all. However, this would be extremely useful.
For instance, one could create a repeater for events and then have another repeater within each event (in our case, there could be multiple events on a single page that are related). This nested repeater could be used for things like an agenda. Therefore, the repeater block should essentially be able to recognize subordinate repeaters. If the repeater block could support this functionality, it would enable the creation of complex structures without needing immediate programming.
The alternative would be to create an ACF link to an event area. However, this is currently not supported by Kadence either.

March 27, 2024 at 11:30 am #288042Hi Karla, I’ve been testing a lot on my demo site and I think the issue is that the latest update removed the formatting for boxed/unboxed posts and pages. They no longer take the theme formatting in the editor window. Is this an issue you’re aware of or can investigate further?
Thanks

March 27, 2024 at 12:06 am #288028To create custom author archive pages dynamically in Kadence, follow these steps:
Create a Custom Template: In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to “Templates” under the Kadence theme. Create a new template specifically for author archives.
Add Dynamic Content: Within the custom template editor, use dynamic content blocks or shortcodes to display author-specific information such as the author’s name, bio, and image. You may need to use custom fields or a plugin to associate images with authors if Kadence doesn’t offer this feature out of the box.
Customize Design: Utilize Kadence’s built-in styling options or CSS to customize the design of your author archive page. Ensure it reflects your website’s branding and provides a visually appealing layout.
Test and Optimize: Once the template is set up, test it to ensure all dynamic content displays correctly for each author. Optimize the layout and content based on user feedback and SEO best practices.
By creating custom author archive pages in Kadence, you can enhance the user experience, improve SEO, and showcase each author’s unique identity effectively. If Kadence doesn’t offer native support for author images, consider using a plugin or custom development to achieve this functionality. I have resolve my issue on my website with this method
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Featured Image option not found
March 26, 2024 at 7:12 pm #288023Hi lylawatts12,
It sounds like this issue is not consistent on your website.
Karla previously mentioned that this could be because of the internet connection.
Does this happen on a specific page consistently or inconsistently?
If it happens on a specific page inconsistently, it may be an issue with the internet connection.
If it happens on some pages consistently and not on others, it maybe an issue with the contents of the page. It might be related to the API requests being processed that delays the loading of the featured image option for a specific page.
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps previously mentioned?
In addition, you can also check the Network activity in the Browsers Dev Console to see what’s causing the delay.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uRjA5y
You can try apps like https://zight.com/ to record your screen and easily share the links with us.

Hi, Chris!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I was able to reproduce the same spacing when I enabled the “Enable Optimized Group Block” option in Customize > General > Performance.
This option is disabled by default.
Are you using Group blocks on your page? If not, turn the option off and see if that will fix the editor width for you.
Please let us know if we can help you further with this.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: How Do I Make Desktop View and Mobile View the Same
Hi, Ron!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Our theme and plugin styles make sure that the content will be mobile-friendly. I would also vote against disabling that.
On the other hand, here’s what you can do to make the pages show the desktop layout – remove the “viewport” meta tag. To do this, you will need to override the theme’s
header.phpfile and use a child theme.I hope this gave you an idea of how to proceed with your customization.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksHi there!
Could you check if the attributes have archive pages? When this is enabled, you should see the attribute on the dropdown options for the Dynamic List block – https://share.zight.com/P8uwPBxd.
Here’s a screenshot of the option – https://share.zight.com/Jru592kp.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
You can achieve this with the Hidden Field by Enabling Dynamic Content and selecting Post URL from the list of content.
Here is a screencast of how to achieve this:
https://share.zight.com/7Kun9Kw0This will convert the hidden field to the page URL where the form is located.

EzeIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn forum: Kadence ThemeMarch 24, 2024 at 5:58 pm #287996Is there a way to customize author archive pages dynamically as a website can have multiple authors?
I can see that with even dynamic content we can not add an image of an author. Author archive pages are becoming more important for SEO due to recent Google EEAT guidelines.
Here are author pages with author images. I would like to achieve something like these websites in Kadence. I have the pro version and all the starter templates but no template has author archive page different from the category/tags archive page.

I noticed that you’re using the Kadence theme on this website. Kindly open a ticket on this forum next time – https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/forum/kadence-theme/
If customizer changes don’t resolve your issue. Please check the page settings.
Your Page may have a Page Setting that enables Content Vertical Padding. You can edit the page in question. Then, you can go to the Page Settings. You can find the Content Spacing setting and set it to Disable. You can also ensure the Content Style is set to UnBoxed. Here is a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/yAuBmj4L

ArchitaIn forum: Kadence BlocksTopic: Advanced Form Dynamic Values
March 22, 2024 at 12:07 pm #287989Hello,
I’m using the advanced form block, and I need to include the url, or literally anything about the page, in the form submission.
I’ve added {page_title} to the email subject line, and that works, but it’s not really descriptive. {page_url} would be great, but it doesn’t work.
I’ve tried to add hidden fields using these parameters, they don’t work. I’ve tried using the “populate with parameter” area, but seems that’s only for UTMs, which is great, but doesn’t solve this one simple issue I have.
I notice that the “hidden field” has dynamic options under the “default value” field, but NOTHING that I add to this works.
What is the point of the hidden/dynamic fields, if it doesn’t populate any data on the form submission? Can anyone help? Thanks!
