In reply to: 404 Error Image
I can’t find theme options>main settings, but under theme options>site header I have turned off the “enable transparent header until scrolled” option. However it still appears as transparent on the error pages.
As well, there is also not a theme options>page header. Under theme options>home slider, I’ve chosen ‘none’ but the mountain image still appears on the error pages as a default.
Any other options?
Thanks,
GregIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: 404 Error Image
September 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm #17631In your theme options > main settings, you can turn the transparent header off.
And in the theme options > page header you can set the default page header. Which is what should take effect on a 404 page.Ben

September 15, 2014 at 1:30 pm #176241. You have set the left side of your topbar to be 30% there is no room for both.
2. Add this css:#topbar-search .form-search ::-webkit-input-placeholder, #topbar-search .form-search :-moz-placeholder, #topbar-search .form-search ::-moz-placeholder, #topbar-search .form-search :-ms-input-placeholder { color: black; opacity: 1; }3. add this css:
#topbar .select2-container .select2-choice { color: #fff; }4. no actually, it’s an image. You can just make the background of the whole select area white.
#topbar .select2-container .select2-choice { background: #fff; }5. Right now your primary color is the default blue, as is your topbar menu, you want the menu text to turn blue on hover? You do realize it will fade into the background right?
The main menu does hover blue.
You can change that in the menu settings of your theme options.6. are you wanting that to stretch across the page or just stay below the logo?
7. You have two menus, the primary and secondary, Primary is on the left, secondary is on the right.
8. Are you talking about the background (white square) or arrow color (dark gray). To you want it full opacity all the time?
9. I’m not sure why your blue is missing(I’ll look into it) the css is:
.woocommerce span.onsale, span.onsale, .woocommerce #carouselcontainer span.onsale { background: #2d5c88; }10. add this css:
.footercredits { text-align: center; }11. The “featured product” carousel is not the category carousel. You can only show featured not by category. use product-category to sort by category.
12. The same is true for best selling. You can’t sort by best selling and category.Ben

Hello,
I’m loving working with Virtue!
Could somebody comment on how to show the featured image in a tiled blog preview page please? Mine is here: *Login to see link ert/leadership-blog/
At this point, the tiles are there, but no featured images (or any images) are displayed. Its kinda cool, but I’d really like to see images!
Thoughts?
Thanks!

September 15, 2014 at 12:38 pm #17601Hey,
1. Your positions issue is caused by your image size, The images are so small they are not large enough for a 4 column gallery. And thus you get a weird layout. If you plan on continuing to use image this small and plan on using a 4 column gallery then here is css to help but I suggest using larger images and you will see that the lays out the columns correctly..kad-wp-gallery .grid_item { border: 0; text-align: center; } .kad-wp-gallery .grid_item img { border: 1px solid #777; }2. In the virtue: gallery widget settings did you turn the captions to show?
3. A gallery is different then images, if you just add 1 image to a page you can edit the style.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Logo resizing and slow site rendering
September 15, 2014 at 12:31 pm #17597Hey,
1. Check out your logo. you have an inch of white space on the right: http://malernes-aktieselskab.dk/malerweb/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/logo_web.jpg
remove that.
2. The logo is in a div that takes up 50% of the page width, as the screen gets smaller that 50% changes and the image is resized to stay within that div. Removing the white space from your img is a great place to start because that will make your image less wide and thus won’t be pressing against the div container. But you can also change the div container using css to make it say 60%, here is the css you can add to your custom css box:
@media (min-width: 992px) { .kad-header-left { width: 60%; } .kad-header-right { width: 40%; } }As for page speed you should install a plugin like w3 total cache. that way you can enabled page cache and minify your scripts.

September 15, 2014 at 12:18 pm #17594Hey Allan,
I’m assuming your have the latest version of the theme (2.6.1) and wooocommerce (2.2.2)?
There aren’t any files in the theme that override the thank-you page and woocommerce controls the page it’s redirected back to so I can’t think of anything in the theme that would conflict with how WPML handles this. You are using this plugin right? http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce-multilingualBen
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: 404 Error Image
Hi Ben,
I am not using the slider image function that Pinnacle comes with as a default (the mountain image). However, how do I get rid of it or replace it on the 404 error page? As well, I have the logo set to not be transparent when a page is loaded, but it is appearing as transparent against the mountain bg on the 404 page.
Thanks,

Here is a link to a test site: http://wordpress50xx.galaxyphoto.de/?page_id=37
– How can I centre the gallery in the exact middle of the page with correct borders?
– Under the images I have added a short title “Polarlicht 1… Polarlicht2…
In the test site this is not visible.– In a elder wordpression version there was a setting for borders and colors for images?
Where is this setting in the wordpress 4.0 version?
Are these things only possible with a shortcode?Michael
In forum: Virtue Themehi team,
I’m working on a few issues for the site’s appearance. Looking for possible solutions:
1. I’m looking to get Search Bar in Top Bar in the same line as Product Categories drop down. Not sure if this is possible.
2. The Search Box in the Top Bar doesn’t show the characters I type (possibly the color is white ). How can we make it to Black color?
3. The font color in the Top Bar Product category Drop down font is showing black. Can we make it white?
4. The arrow color of the top Bar Product category Drop down is gray color. Can we make it white?
5. I was expecting the Menu items to be highlighted in theme color upon mouse hover (top bar as well as main menu)
6. Is it possible to have a gradient seperator immediately below the logo?
7. Menu items are not going on either side of the Logo (4 each side as per selected layout)
8. Is it possible to Change the arrows of carousals [[carousel] to be darker and persistent at all times?
9. Sale tag is not showing up because it is displayed white in color : looking for blue box around sale like in the Virtue theme demo site
10. Looking to get CopyRight Notice in the Center of the Page instead of in the extreme left
11. Below is not working!! I was expecting to see only featured furniture, but am also seeing jewellery products:
[carousel type=featured-products columns=4 items=100 speed=9000 scroll=1 cat=furniture]However, the on-sale products carousal works fine:
[carousel type=sale-products columns=4 items=100 speed=9000 scroll=1 cat=jewellery]I tried putting double quotes around, but to no avail
12. Also, below carousal for best selling products wont work
[carousel type=best-selling-products columns=4 items=100 speed=9000 scroll=1 cat=furniture]Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mitesh. In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Add borders to an image
Hi Hannah,
I think it depends on the template style. The standard template style shows the borders correct,
but the whole gallery (4rows) is not centered in the middle of the page.
The fullwidth template style shows the gallery correctly centered, but 1 border from each image ( at the right side )
has a distance from the image – about 50px.How can I centre the gallery in the middle of the page with correct borders?
Michael
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi There,
I upgraded to the new virtue premium and now the products have disappeared off the homepage widgets, off the shop and categories. Although they appear to be blank you can still hover over them and click on the white space where they would normally be. Only when you drill down in to the individual product can you actually see them.
We were looking to go live in the next day or so so this was a typical last minute setback… can you please look at this, I can’t find anything else similar on the forums. The site is:

JustinIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Header horizontal alignment
Hi there, I would like to push the spacing of my current header titles a bit towards the left (it’s right aligned with logo on the left), as the drop-down menu continues beyond the visible page borders in certain areas.
Please see http://www.poptex.co.za and navigate to ‘Create Your Own’ -> ‘Collage Flexi Canvases’ – both categories’ contents are pushed beyond visible sight.
Could you please assist with modifications to change this?
Thanks

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Theme Options Blank
I just upgraded from the free version to the Premium theme. When I click on Theme Options, a blank page appears. When I had the free version installed, I didn’t have any problems.
I’ve tried the following:
Deactivated all plug-ins
Re-installed the premium theme
Checked my WordPress PHP files (wp-settings.php) and set them to:
ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘512M’);
ini_set(‘max_execution_time’, 300);Any guidance on how I can fix this would be most appreciated.
