Hey guys – this may sound like the DUMBEST question on the planet :
If I choose to use woo extras … I adjust the product image width. it does nothing.
The view port is always the same – so I can’t figure out why this setting is there – when regardless of the overall settings there is only a fixed size… no matter what, the viewport remains constant – always 600×600 no matter what.
I even adjust the woo commerce image settings, no luck.
I’ve seen a few other posts regarding something similar …
I’mb basically trying to use the theme single product page to get the biggest and best image size without having to use something like elementor to get big images 🙁

Thank you for this awesome product and great support…
We are facing two more issues as below1. We are seeing a PHP warning like this,
Error Log – [21-Sep-2020 11:59:27 UTC] PHP Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/geojones/dev2020.geojones.com/wp-content/plugins/kadence-widget-dock/admin/redux/inc/class.redux_filesystem.php on line 292. “scroll-margin-top” does not work when smooth-scroll enabled. Basically we have an icon in the header and a user scrolled down to another section by clicking to that icon. But when the scroll completes some part of that section goes behind the sticky header. I found a solution in this post, *Login to see link This solution is working when we have a hash key in URL but not when page scrolls using the click on that icon.
Please guide us to the solution for issue 2 above 🙂

September 30, 2020 at 1:04 am #257914Hey,
You have plugins loading content into the “short description” area in products. Also known as the “excerpt”. Excerpts load on archive pages by default so to prevent the plugin from breaking the archives through the excerpt I’ve turned off excerpts from loading in product archives in the theme options. Now you can add the featured products carousel on your home page.Ben

Sorry for the delay! Seems that plugin, unfortunately, has not been updated. If you’re willing to do a little coding, and if you’re using a child theme, this post explains how to add a custom function: https://slickmedia.co.uk/blog/woo-commerce-custom-placeholder-image-single-product-page-category-archive-pages/
Would that work for you?Hannah
In forum: Kadence ThemeSeptember 29, 2020 at 3:13 pm #257901That works as intended. But one small niggle is that since AJAX seems to be used w/o a page refresh when an addon is toggled, what I am conditionally showing using the provided code does not immediately get toggled and a page reload is needed. Not a biggie.
Thanks.

September 29, 2020 at 12:53 pm #257895Hannah,
I tried that plugin, and it did not resolve the issue. I still have the same stock image placeholder on the shop page, and the custom image placeholder on the product page.

September 29, 2020 at 11:11 am #257886I was having the same problems with my mega menu not showing up. I tried everything. That video of changing the hooked element so that it’s visible to the entire site fixed my problem. I don’t know why that’s not either the default or on the tutorial page, but Thanks!
In forum: Kadence ThemeHello Jeremy,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
The background color for the section you pointed out on your screenshot inherits the 9th color on your Global Palette on Customizer > General > Colors. This color is also the one generally used as default background color of your pages. Kindly check if the color here is white or off white. Here’s a screen recording for your reference.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.
Best Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi Hannah, Thanks for the reply. I have decided to rebuild four of my sites, using Pinnacle of course, from the ground up as there are too many things that have gone haywire with new API’s and plugin updates etc Not to mention Amazon terms constantly shifting. Keep up the good work! Loved the pic of you on top of the mountain on the FB page 😀 – Janek

Follow-up: In the meantime, I made the first four initial posts “sticky”. Unfortunately, it made them “sticky” in both the “Latest Posts” on the home page (https://goodnessparty.org) and on the Posts page. I only expected it to be sticky on the Posts page, but I guess it applies to all post displays.
In forum: Membership ForumsHello,
I’ve tried with css-snippets to make a Split content full-width (or standard width) and left aligned as the rest of the page content.
In each widget I’ve: Image height 80px, Image aligned left, Text max width 900, Text aligned: left.
In front end, all widgets are in the middle of the page and only a narrow column.
In mobiles it looks better, but the image is not left aligned.
Is there a css that could fix it? Do you need login or URL?Thank you

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn forum: Kadence ThemeSeptember 28, 2020 at 9:04 pm #257836Hello, super new. Going through tutorials but want to cheat by getting some quick help. The home page on the imported Kadence template for agencies has an almost black “page” background. If I change the background color for the block, the black page background conflicts. Image attached. Where should I be looking to change the default background color for the entire page please?
Thanks in advance for any help!
In forum: Kadence ThemeSeptember 28, 2020 at 8:30 pm #257834Hi there
I’ve moved over from Page Builder Framework – which I also love – but feel Kadence offers a lot more functionality
One thing that was good with PBF was that there were some great classes you could use for things like
– Tables, specifically borders, shading, alt-shading etc
– Colour content boxes, like notifications (red/blue/green/yellow etc)I am very keen to use Kadence without any block or pagebuilder for some projects and just wondered if this was documented somewhere (if it exists). Of course, I can probably make them up? But something in-built for app-type projects would be awesome.
Cheers 🙂

Hannah!
Slider Revolution was loaded with your theme.
After it was updated with the theme update to version 6.2.21
I don’t have any problems with the slider at the moment
I have problems with shortcodes from Woocommerce and with setting up the Main page when I add the Featured Product blockIt doesn’t depend on the page where I insert the Woo shortcode Woocommerce
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Back button on product page
September 28, 2020 at 2:10 pm #257820Hey,
Just a note I don’t suggest you do what you are doing, much better to use breadcrumbs because this is the universal way people navigate throughout a site, you can turn breadcrumbs on in your theme options.Adding this “back” button to me would be more confusing because it’s not clear what “back” means or where it would take you. For example, if someone navigates directly to your page then back to them would mean some other website. If they navigate their directly with no history in the tab then back means nothing and clicking it won’t do anything.
Trust people to use the back that the browser offers if they need to go back and give them breadcrumbs for a much better user experience.
If you are going to add this button then you need to fix your code. Hannah is trying to offer a workaround for your code but it’s just not going to be the best option. You need to changing your PHP code to give the button a specific class in the HTML output. You would have to post a gist to your PHP code if you need help with that. Once you’ve defined a custom class for your button post back here, or as I mentioned above don’t do this and use breadcrumbs instead.
