I’ve upgraded sites using both Virtue and Ascend to WordPress 5.5 and once I do Page Builder stops working. Pages I’ve already created using Page Builder stop giving me this option, and new pages don’t allow me to specify this when generating the new page.

Hi Team,
Thank you for your quick responses and great help.

I signed up with Dashnex and intend to transfer my site http://www.mimiemmanuel.com with the Kadence Virtue Theme over to their platform.

The only hiccup is that I’ve been told to be able to transfer the site it needs to be converted into html.

Would you know if there is a possibility within the theme for me to transfer the files over into html format?

If not, would you know how I can get your theme transferred over ‘as is’ on my site to Dashnex?

Please find below screenshot issue with page transitions Plugin:

Elementor Pro (Latest Version) page editing is not loaded/stuck. I think this plugin function is a conflict with Elementor. After disable its works fine and able to do changes in elementor edit page/post. My agency is designed only with Elementor Page Builder only.

Hoping you get my issue.

I know this theme is free with basic function of woo-commerce. I have Membership – All themes and Plugins.
I do like single product page function mainly – This doesn’t have in your existing Pro themes.
So I included here if there is any possibility enable pro theme type function via woo-extra premium or other plugins until this free theme’s Pro version will not release.
In future, I will raise different repost issue tickets. Sorry for your inconvenience.

Hey likely there is some data built with that plugin in your home page meta content (looks like you imported at some point)

I suggest creating a new home page and copy your current home page content into it, then set it as the front page. After that you should be able to activate without issue.

Hello,

For centering the text of the titles in the “Trails” category you can use this:

.single-article article.category-trail-pages .entry-title {
    text-align: center;
}

One thing when using bold text for the headers is make sure you’re adding a specific SEO title so it’s optimized for Search Engines.

Hey,
1. There isn’t an option to add an icon in the caption box, if you were using a plugin to add an icon font then you could since to call that icon you would just use a css class but you can’t an an image or inline svg in the caption area.

2. There isn’t an option for this type of lightbox. Or for a second “caption” that only shows there.

You might consider not using a lightbox for this and instead setting a custom post type with single post pages.

3. Your screen shot shows you are trying to load Kadence Gallery posts in a portfolio grid block, this could work as long as you’ve assign a featured image to each gallery item.

Hi K-Team,

Hope you are all doing well and healthy!

After the latest 5.5 release yesterday all of my sites seem to be experiencing some hiccups with the SiteOrigin but specifically Extra Shortcodes. I reached out to SiteOrigin first and they addressed an issue but asked that I reach out to you to address the others.

What I am seeing when I try to add a shortcode, this one is for a button: [btn tcolor=”#ffffff” thovercolor=”#ffffff” size=”undefined” undefined=”undefined” icon=”undefined”] (shot 1)

The other is when I am on the regular editor I am seeing the page builder tab show undefined (shot 3) and then once I turn that on I am seeing two little boxes above the add media button (shot 2)

I do have a few sites in Development that I have not run the 5.5 Update and all is fine. For testing purposes, I ran the updated for 5.5 on one of them and this breaks. On one of my other dev sites I have 5.5, Ascend and SiteOrigin with everything else deactivated and have this issue.

Please let me know if you need login or any other details.

You can hide those with this css:

.page-template-page-feature-sidebar .slick-dots li {
    display: none;
}

Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

I finally figured out that this was an issue with the SiteOrigin pagebuilder and found these instructions. https://siteorigin.com/custom-css-guide-page-builder-row-cell-widget-attributes/ Generally, these instructions worked for me except when trying to change the line-height in the subtitle area of the Kadence Call to Action widget. Attached is an example. You can see the live page at https://www.symboc.com/web-services-2/ What I want to do is change the subtitle line-height to 1.5. Thanks

Hi Ben,

The pro version is going to be brilliant. Can’t wait! On this occasion I think I’ll have to use the free version of Kadence, with plugin, so as not to delay my client.

I’ll use the plugin mentioned in your tutorial on creating custom post types – Custom Post Type UI

My client will also be having a Blog on their site, but custom posts are new territory for me. Are they automatically excluded from appearing on the blog archive page?

Thanks for your question.

In the most specific sense using only core blocks would be faster (Kadence auto turns off any css or js that isn’t needed for a particular page). However given how light it all is, It’s highly unlikely it would be a noticeable. 🙂

For clarification for anyone else reading this topic. This question doesn’t have to do with the “Kadence” theme where it was posted and isn’t actually related to any Kadence Products.

Pagebuilder by Site Origin adds that interface. Their plugin is one of our recommended page builders.

Mike, what are you wanting to do exactly. Can you tell me a little more about what “styling” you are wanting to add/control.

You can update your css to this:

Since you are building your product page with elementor you need to just turn off the theme breadcrumbs (you are already adding some via elementor). In your customizer > woocommerce > single product > “Above Content Layout” set that to “nothing”

Hi Hannah,

The majority of content and pages on the site will sit within the width we have set in: “Content Max Width” (1290px).
However as with all our sites there’s various rows that we always set to something much larger, such as 1920px. This content is typically header, footer, page banners and various promo style rows (typically on home page but sometimes on other pages). However, a typical content/post page width would be 1290px.

We set 1920px on these various pieces of content – header, footer, various promo style rows (typically on home page).

Am I doing this incorrectly?
Should I be setting the “Content Max Width” to 1920px and setting the “Narrow Layout Content Max Width” to 1290px and assigning this globally (if this is possible) to all our pages and posts, etc?

If I did it this way, Id still need to set containment widths on various elements in the home page that are constrained to: 1290px
