In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Blog Breadcrumbs Missing All Posts Page on Archives?
Exactly. We can apply a title background on pages, posts and also on categories. It might be nice to have the ability to set one for all archives as well. The default title background is useful, but sometimes we may want archives to have something other than the overall site default, such as what we are using on our general blog page. Also I don’t see a way to turn on parallax for the default title background like you can on most other title backgrounds, or did I miss it?

Hi Ben, I have more that one customer asking for a random header image on home page. In other words, at each page load the image of the header is a different one. The random option could be used for a single slide or a multi slide, but in my specific cases I would use it on a single slide, considering the random image on page refresh solution as an alternative to an auto play slider.
Could that be a new feature for Kadence Slider Pro or should I look for other solutions?
Thanks

There it turns in to a dropdown – but I want it to be open as a hierarchy, like on computer screen.

October 31, 2018 at 2:17 pm #206130I see, your issue is created because of your lazy load, it’s initializing a space for a huge image then after hte page loads going back and loading the real image size. I added some css to force it to stop.

October 31, 2018 at 2:08 pm #206124Hey, You have some conflicting settings. Please edit the page which you have set as the “front” page and set the template to default. Currently you have it set to the landing page template.

Hey,
You’re getting an error on your page, so something isn’t working properly. I just tested on my site and products show fine on the front page if I assign it as my shop. Have you tried testing your active plugins for a conflict by deactivating one by one to see if the products load properly when a certain plugin is OFF?
Let me know if you find any plugin conflicts.

Thank you Ben:
That would be to have banners in the header area on the Home Page via Home Page Header settings? Or is there another option you were thinking about?
I was looking for a solution that would appear on all pages. For instance, Home Extras Widget Area. I tried using a Text widget with the Kadence slider shortcode and it did not work.
Appreciate your help!

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Virtue WP Gallery Carousel Bullets or Dots
Hey Michael,
Do you want these removed from every carousel on your site, or just that page? This css would affect only that page:.page-id-5266 .slick-dots li button { display: none; }If you want this to apply sitewide just remove
.page-id-5266from the css.
Hope that helps!Hannah

to meHello Troy,
I activated Lazy Load globally, changed settings for this particular page and set up caching for logged-in users. Everything seems to work like expected now.
It seems that there is an incompatibility between Pinnacle Premium theme and WP Rocket. It occurs when the following conditions are met:
Lazy Load is globally enabled
Lazy Load is turned off for the specific post or you are viewing uncached version of the page
We are not experiencing this kind of problem on other themes at the moment. The only difference between Lazy Load standalone plugin and WPR Lazy Load feature is that LL plugin won’t check if the cache is enabled and will apply Lazy Load all the time.WP Rocket Lazy Load feature is working only if caching is enabled for your post. My best guess is, that Pinnacle_Lazy_Load::is_lazy() (lib/image_functions.php:217) should return false when cache is not applied to a specific page, not only when Lazy Load is globally disabled.
Let me know if it makes sense to you.
In forum: Ascend ThemeOctober 31, 2018 at 12:15 am #206063Hi,
we always know that if you create a wordpress post category, when you click the view link in the category menu you will be redirect to a page that filter all the post of that category. In this site *Login to see link (you already have admin access) if you go in Post>category and click on the view link of the test category you will redirect to a 404 page…strange no?
Another strange thing that happens for a non test category is that the category, for example “Accessible Accommodation” that has 4 post linked, if you click the view link you will redirect to a real page we created *Login to see link … but how is it possible? even if we change the url of the page the category still links to it….
Thank you very much
AngeloIn forum: Virtue ThemeAfter updating just a bit ago to Virtue 4.8.4, now I cannot edit ANY pages on the site. (I just get a white screen when trying to edit a page.) This is kind of an emergency, because I MUST launch a new page (isn’t quite done, and now I can’t edit – gah!) by first thing in the morning tomorrow, which is in about 6 hours (my time) here on the East coast of the US.
Here is the site:
The page I’m trying to edit is here:
I also can’t edit any Widgets. Suddenly, no widgets are showing in the Widgets area of the site, and I can’t expand screen options. (And I desperately need to update one of the widgets, too!!!) Everything was fine yesterday, and suddenly this happens now overnight tonight during a new page launch… (Updates just break things too often. I SWEAR I need to stop updating entirely. So many problems!)
Please help!!! (I’m following-up with a private email with credentials, etc.)
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Team,
Please could you help me get this display to behave?Following some great work by Ben, this page is looking really great. But please could you help with some minor questions?
1. Now and then, one of the magazines disobeys the float: left; instruction and you get a single magazine item on the right hand side of the grid. Please can you see what is causing this?
2. Below screen-widths of 968px, the header image, menu and headings get confused. I guess I have set these up in a bad way. Please could you suggest a way to do this better?
I’ll drop you a login separately as it’s not ready for go-live.
Thanks,

October 30, 2018 at 3:15 pm #206024You should see it working now. The issue had to do with your slider images. They were unusually large files and your server kept timing out while trying to deal with them to output the slider.
I’m not sure if you recently changed those, or if the server changed and now couldn’t handle them but I was able to compress for web and reupload so the page can now load.
Ben
