I would like to suggest some additions to Woo Extras Product Brands. In my opinion Product Brands plugin is missing function to show (as a grid or list) all brands names or/and logos via shortcode or Kadence blocks built in function (in post grid block); It would be great to have A-Z filters for Product Brands as well.

I’m trying to make sense of all the different breakpoints across the theme and the blocks. I’d like things to respond at the same rate, but certain things seem to have different breakpoints. Do you have a list of all the different breakpoints used throughout the theme and blocks? Additionally, will there be any work done to try to make them all consistent, or at least give us controls to set them?
Ideally they would all follow a consistent pattern so, for example, when you hit a certain breakpoint, everything happens at once. Right now, the row columns adjust at 1024, but the post grid seems to adjust at 992, so there’s a 32px gap where things don’t line up.
Here are a few examples of what I’m talking about. The breakpoint numbers problaby aren’t exact, but close enough to illustrate what I’m talking about.
Breakpoints for Kadence Blocks such as post grid, gallery, portfolio, etc…
< 543
544-767
768-991
992-1199
1200-1499
1500 >Breakpoints for Kadence Blocks such as row/columns, form columns, and Desktop/Tablet/Mobile settings
< 767
768-1024
1024 >Breakpoints for Kadence Theme archive layout (3 column example)
Less than 576 – single column archive list
576-1024 – two colums archive list
767-1024 – post item padding changes
1025 > three columns archive listHope this all makes sense… thanks!

Hey,
Looks like you have the Project Options set to Image Grid (which it is showing). If you’re wanting this to be a single image you need to set Project Options to Image. Then if you want an image grid under that you would need to manually add your image grid to the post using the Advanced Gallery block (or another form).
I hope that’s helpful!Best,

Hey Pascal,
You can do this by adding your posts via shortcode like this:[blog_posts orderby=date items=1 word_count=30 cat=photos]
Or, if you’re using the block editor you can use the post grid/carousel block from Kadence Blocks.
Do either of these options work for you?Best,

Hi Fredrik,
If you set your homepage as the latest posts page from Settings > Reading then the number of posts will pull from the Blog pages show at most setting in Settings > Reading. Or you can use a shortcode or the post grid/carousel block to display more than 8 posts.
Let me know if you would like more guidance with this!Best,

Found it. The background has appeared only for single service posts e.g. https://naturescapes.web2.amweb.nz/services/garden-design/
I have tried the following but it is getting away from my “all in one” solution:
div.kt-blocks-post-grid-item-inner, .col-md-5.pcside, article .kt-inside-inner-col, .page.contact-us .kadence-column_a59094-a2, footer > .container { background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5); padding: 10px; }-

In forum: Kadence ThemeNovember 9, 2020 at 11:44 am #260270On the wordpress dashboard – Settings – Reading – I have the home page designated to a page, but the BLOG page not designated.
I made a page called Blog and used the Post Grid Carousel gutenberg block to make my main blog archive page. (rather than using the default archive)
When I click into a post, it shows me the breadcrumb:
home / category / post name
The home takes me back to the home page. However, I would like it to take me back to the BLOG page I made:
blog / category / post name
In my wordpress permalinks, they are set to post name (and resaved).
Any way I can do this?
Thanks!
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Staff post format
Hi,
On this site, I am using a post grid/carousel to display 2 staff posts in a single column. I have used css to reduce the image to a circular shape 260px diameter.

Please could you help with better css to format the picture so that we get this sort of display:

Hi,
On a development site, I’ve used an info box to show an image and some text like this:
I tried setting up staff and using a post/grid carousel but that doesn’t let you place the image on the right. I have also tried “Split Content” as that does let you pick a side fgor the image, but it doesn’t give you text formatting.
So with the info box, it looks great at desktop width, but on a phone screenwidth, we loose clarity becasue the columns do not reform responsively:
Please could you help with some CSS to improve the mobile display to look like this example?
Very many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Testimonial image size
Hi,
I am using a post/grid carousel to display 2 testimonial posts.I want to craft a display that looks like this image:
I have tried setting the image size using :
.testimonial-grid img.wp-post-image {
width: 100px;
height: 130px;
border-radius: 50%;
}…but I end up with a huge gap before the text:
Please could you help with the following:
1. Correct method for setting image size.
2. Reduce gap before text.
3. Add a vertical divider between the 2 columns.
4. Add quote marks before and after the image (see screenshot above).Very many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Kadence BlocksHi,
I am trying to create a Logo Slider using the Portfolio Grid/Carousel block. Because it is just displaying logos (single column sliding), the most sensible Post Type is Gallery, as the logos will not be used anywhere also on the website. I’ve tested the Gallery page they create and it works. However when I set up the Portfolio Grid/Carousel Block with Post Type “Gallery”, it just displays a grey box that links to the gallery page. Can you please advise what I am doing wrong?
thanks
November 6, 2020 at 11:52 am #260187Hi Kadence
On a landingpage we’re using the “Post Grid/Carousel” to show 4 recent posts in a grid view (A).
On a dedicated news page we’re using “Post Grid/Carousel” to show all (well, most) posts in masonry view (B).Authors are writing manual excerpts for all posts. This works well in a masonry view where the varied lenght is a strength.
On the landingpage the block needs to fit inside a section and the varied lenght is no longer fitting.Is there a build in way to override the manual excerpts – or to chose what the block is looking for: Excerpt vs. Excerpt, number of words vs. “Read more” block?
If not, can you point us in the right direction for a more code-heavy approach?

In forum: Kadence BlocksHello Dave,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can set the Post Grid/Carousel block’s Meta Divider to None under the Below Title Meta settings. Here’s a screen recording for your reference.
Could Post Grid have an icon option, as this looks more professional?
There is no built-in option for this on the Post Grid/Carousel block.Hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.
Best Regards,
