    Hey Walter,
    Try using this css:

    .blog .postlist .col-md-12 .entry-content {
        padding-bottom: 0;
        padding-top: 0;
    }

    Does that work for you?

    Please look at

    Using Inspect Element I was able to work out how to reduce the amount of white space between each kad_blog_item — the css is
    .postlist article { margin-bottom: 0px; } where the margin-bottom default is 40px, but I can’t find a way to reduce the amount of bottom margin within kad_blog_item. There doesn’t seem to be a property to alter. Is there one? If there is’ I’d like to reduce the bottom margin from what looks like 40px to 20.

    Thanks,
    Walter

    Hi,
    That is only for direct buyers. Your access came through the theme so you do not have a purchase code. You can simply ignore it. Your slider should be working though. Is it not working on the front end? Can you post a link?

    Hey Walter,
    If you navigate to Staff from the admin panel and quick edit a staff post you should see an Order tab. You can set the order for your posts within those tabs. Is that what you mean?

    Hey Jung,
    In Theme Options > Advanced Styling try setting the Post and Page Content area Background color. I think that’s what you need.

    I’ve got it working although I’m not quite certain what happened or why.

    Beats me why the post on the home page didn’t change at first. I even deleted the post entirely and it still showed up.

    Thank you Kevin,
    I couldn’t find anything on the page so I inserted the styling snippet you sent and that area is gone now. I’ll keep trying to find it just in case, and thanks for the heads-up too.
    I’ll do some research concerning 3 as well and if I find something before I hear from you, I’ll post it here.

    This sounds like an old problem but I can’t find any existing forum replies detailed enough to help.

    Home page is

    On it I have a post under the heading “Next Event”. Currently it shows an entry headed “Committee Meeting 24 February”. I want to change this. I made the change on the Posts page, updated, reloaded the home page; no change. I cleared the Firefox cache, reloaded, no change.

    What next? Is there a server-side cache I need to clear?

    Regards,
    Walter

    #3 requires some complex CSS that I’m trying to figure out still. If I come up with it I’ll post it here.

    For #4, I would first look and see if you have an empty pagebuilder row in the page edit screen, or anything else that may be causing an element to appear on the page. If there is nothing there, this CSS will get rid of it, but you should be able to find and delete whatever is there through your admin area. This CSS may also interfere with page edits down the road, so be aware of that.

    .rowtight.homepromo {
        display: none;
    }

    Thanks, Ben. So to do a parent category, would I need to create separate pages? Right now, I don’t have any pages. I just have the main page on which I have the posts. Or can the carousel widget work differently?

    I could add a small title at the bottom of a post with the article under the mini-blog title. For example, I’m looking to have one mini blog, the restaurant/food section called “Forks in the Road” and then have another small title about a specific restaurant in a region I visited. But then I’d like to have a separate mini-blog section on its own with a small description so that people understands what it means. Could that be done in a menu in a sidebar? Or do sidebars not really connect to articles in that way?

    You would need to use google inspect to get the menu id or if you post a link we can help.

    Hey lynn,

    The code you just posted shows your using an older version of the file? Can you make sure everything is updated.

    Current theme version is 3.4.7 https://www.kadencewp.com/manually-updating-a-theme/

    Ben and Hannah, I’m not setting a featured image for each post, I’m using the add staff and inserting an image in the text area. Also, I got rid of them on ifafa.org website using the same version of premium, but I’m not sure how I did it!? Extra text is there on sample staff staff apge, bur I’ve no idea what puts it there. I just updated failsayf.com/[yc to the latest version and am having other problems listed in another post [slider and footer disappeared along with wordpress menu bar at top.

    #79725

    Hannah,

    I still do not have slider. I’m using google chrome and I cleared my browser cache. My home page is failsayf.com/pyc [didn’t see caps lock key from previous post]. Alsao, top menu for wordpress editing does not show up when i login as sadmin and go to “visit site”. Menu bar and dashboard sow up on other pages.

    Are you setting a featured image for each post?

    Hey! What means are you using to place the images on your posts? If it’s via a gallery in the editor, you should be able to open up the gallery options and set the “Link to” option to none. Give that a try if you haven’t already and let me know if that solves the issue.

    Hello Hannah,

    The custom type posts are company profiles and the data in the fields are submitted via a form. The data, including phone numbers, are then presented in a company profile automatically. Having to put in the code in the profile for each company would be too much work. Maybe I need to have the format (like your code) imposed in the phone number fields. So the submitter would put them in the right format??

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Eddy

    The order should be set based on your menu order? Are you setting your portfolio posts page to use a different order?

    Portfolio posts are a little different then blog posts. They are not set up as much as time sensitive as a blog post. The order is based on what you add in the post attributes for page order. Are you setting an order number?
