Sorry, I’m a little confused as to what you’re asking. Could you be more specific? Within every page and post edit page you should be able to enable or disable comments for that individual page. Are you wanting to do something different?

In Settings > Reading you do not need to set a post page. Leave that blank, save changes and clear your cache. Let me know if there’s no change.

Hi Fabrizio,
If you’re using the feature sidebar page template and you have the feature options set to image you should be able to make it fullwidth with this css:

.container.pageheadfeature.postfeat {
    width: 100%;
    padding: 0;
}

Just paste that in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings. Another option is to use a full width kadence or revolution slider.

I also imported my posts from my blog. But with that said, I have since written two posts so if there was something wrong with how the posts were connected to the import, that shouldn’t be the case now.

Thanks for your post. Yeah it was working fine before. But now that I think about it, I built the site on my localhost and then uploaded it to my server and when that happened a lot of the “localhost” links did not change to “https://odetowood.com” links. Do you think that might be an issue? Thank you for your reply.

Hey! Sorry your post hasn’t been acknowledged yet. I don’t have a definitive answer to this issue, and have been waiting to see what other folks might have to say. I would start by checking your plugins to see if there is anything there that might be causing the issue.

Was everything working before today? Did you make any changes to the page before this happened?

Yes it does. So I’m guessing the only videos that auto play within a post would be from the list in Post Meta Video Widget…? (YouTube, Vimeo, etc)

I posted this earlier but it might have gotten lost in all of the threads. I have an issue where only my most recent blog post (instead of my 2 most recent posts) is showing up in “Latest Blog Posts” on my home layout. There are “two” posts that show up but the second post is some random link to my home page. You can see my issue here: *Login to see link

I also checked my blog page and it only had 1 post also. So to fix that issue I ended up going to settings > reading > post page > Blog which ended up fixing the blog page but the home page is still not working. And once I create a new post, the newest post is on the home page but the second post stays the weird “Home” post. I have tried purging the cache but I haven’t had any luck.

When I inspect the element it looks like the code is pulling from post-48, while the newest post is 504. I am using Virtue Premium and have updated to the latest version of Woocommerce. There might be something wrong in the PHP code or a simple setting change in the Home Layout screen. Please help I’ve been working on this issue for awhile now!

Please let me know if you any suggestions. Thank you in advance 🙂

The page id for that page is this: .page-id-167 Or are you wanting the id for all your portfolio posts?
Are you not seeing the Advanced Styling tab within your Theme Options? That’s where you can set the background color for your secondary menu.

I’m in the process of completely redoing my site and purchased your theme for it as I think it’s awesome. One thing though, I had a bilingual site using polylang. When I activate polylang, the home page will go either to the default language homepage *Login to see link or depending on settings to the English one *Login to see link

Unfortunately because of the redirect I guess somehow it doesn’t seem that either of those two URL’s are still recognized as the homepage and all I get is a (rather ugly looking) listing of my old blog posts.

Is there some sort of setting where I need to tell Virtue about this?

No not at all. I’m unsure how the link turned into that display but you can just get to the site and poke around via wpsite-management.com
Then under the services link you’ll see them. well you’ll see the posts grid first…then individual post where the post carousels are.

Hello again. Is there a way to not allow comments on certain posts linked to a particular page? I already unchecked comments for the 2 relevant pages and went into Setting>Discussion and unchecked comments also. But it globally disallowed on all pages. I can go back to post and disallow comments per post but can’t seem to find a way to disallow any posts linked to just 2 particular pages even when I have disallowed comments on the page. So, I went back to Settings>Discussion and allowed comments there again so the other pages would allow comments automatically. Then unchecked individual posts for the 2 pages below.

The two pages I need to do this for are

http://temp.mychoiceconnection.com/all-about-you/
http://temp.mychoiceconnection.com/energy-for-life/

Did I miss something. I searched WP forum and found this https://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments-for-future-posts-pages/. But it doesn’t seem to solve my issue. Does it mean I will need to allow or disallow posts individually for these two pages above? Any ideas?
