Hi Hannah,

Ben’s post cleared my doubts on how to get rid of the problem on the portfolio pages. However, I have similar problems on the posts and other pages (including staff pages) as well. Do I need add the same html to those pages too? Is there a way to automate this using a child themes or CSS, instead of having to add the code on every individual page and post?

Hi,

This was not possible to register at Checkout or MyAccount.
At MyAccount page, login works, Register is showing but nothing happens when registering.
Same if registering at checkout.

Fixed (looks like it):
I activated another theme, this worked.
I reactivated Virtue and it works now.

They have exactly the same problem here:

It seems all good now but could you please give me some ideas about what have happened so I know what is going on if it ever happens?

Hi,

I am confused about navigating within a portfolio. I can see how to create a portfolio page and include portfolio posts of a certain type. When I click on the image in the home page, I get to the portfolio post. I would like the navigation on that post to reflect only the posts that are included on the page, not all the posts. I have Portfolio Arrow Navigation set to Navigate through Category. Seems to work when I am on a post but not when I am coming from the Portfolio page. Does this make any sense?

Also, I cannot see how to use the portfolio grid on the portfolio post. How do the images get entered?

Hey,

1. Could you post a link to your site so I can more easily determine why your menu is displaying this way?
2. You can use Slider Revolution that comes with the theme to build a header that plays embedded videos.
3. A link would help with this one as well.
4. Header area will be determined in Theme Options >Site Header >Header Height. Editing the size on each page should be possible with CSS.
5. And I’ll need to see the site to see where that space actually is.

Once I can see your page, my answers will be much more helpful.

I’m not sure if this is relevant to the above posted problem, but I just noticed that when I go to the Portfolio Types page and click the “view” button under “Video” it opens to the correct video portfolio page. Same thing with “Photography.”

Help please. I was trying to change the name of a couple of links and somehow broke (I think) the link. When I click on the “Portfolio” page it brings up my entire portfolio as it should. But when I click on the drop down “Video” I get “page not found.” This used to link to my entire video portfolio, made up of 12 videos. The drop down to “Photography” also no longer takes me to the “Photography” page where there should be 3 items. I’m not sure what I did. Can you please help me get it back the way it was. I read the post about going to the permalink page and hitting save, but that did not rectify the problem. I also looked at this link: *Login to see link but that didn’t help me either.

Hey! Your link is not currently working, but I can tell you that the demo site you posted uses Slider Revolution. You should be able to achieve a full width slider using the Kadence Slider as well. The options for creating your own Kadence or Revolution Slider can be found at the bottom left of the wordpress dashboard options. Revolution Slider is admittedly a bit more complicated than most applications call for, but either one will allow you to have full width images displayed.

I am guessing you’re issue is with your permalink settings. I would go into Settings >Permalinks, and be sure that you have “Post Name” for your pages. See if making changes in this area fixes your issue.

I am facing problems with structured data errors in Google search Console, and its something that I am unable to solve, as it seems to be a theme related issue. I maintain a few other sites also (using other themes) and I am not facing this issue other than on this site using Virtue Premium.

These are structured data errors, and what I am getting is:

Missing: author
Missing: entry-title
Missing: updated

This is appearing on posts as well as on pages (including portfolio, and staff pages)

I had written to you earlier, and you said that no error can be found in the Structured Data Testing Tool. Apparently, Google uses different testing algorithms for the Search Console, and the Structured Data Testing tool. So errors can be found in the Search Console, but not in the Testing Tool. Even in Google Product Forums this problem has been notified by others here.

A solution has been given by Yoast, as well as on this site.

This is a serious problem, so hope you find a solution, and if needed update the theme to resolve the issue.

Hannah, actually, I didn’t realize the Next/Previous posts arrows lead only to the posts in Carousel, thus leaving the reader out of All posts area (which isn’t very clear to the reader, actually). Can I link the Next/Previous buttons to All posts, in addition to placing them below the post, rather then carousel?

We have 2 columns and 3 rows of ‘Latest Blog Posts’ on our homepage (*Login to see link ). Is it possible to force the pictures in each of the 3 rows to align? Due to the title/excerpt length, it is currently staggered.
