    I don’t understand your #2 about categories and custom menus.

    I must be confused on what a post is and what a blog is and how they interact if at all. Could you please explain?

    I made a parent category for Let’s Get Real under Post categories, and made a parent category for Living Inside-Out. When I posted for LIO and only used the LIO parent category, it showed up on both archives in footer. And when I posted using the LGR parent category/subcategory, it shows up in the archives for both LIO and LGR.

    I apologize for my confusion. Just trying to figure out how my clients want to use their website. Your help much appreciated. Sharon

    PS just an FYI. I made the Living Inside-Out the Posts Page. Maybe I should not have??? I also made both LIO and LGR pages as blog templates under “quick edit.”

    Im having a problem with the Portolio navigation arrows on my site. Basicly the left arrow which should go to the prev post is going to next and vice versa. How can i fix this?

    Hi Georgina,
    Do you mind posting a link?
    Your product title pulls from your h1 settings. You can adjust this in Theme Options > Typography. Or if you want to change the font of just your product titles you could use css like this:

    h1.product_title.entry-title {
        font-family: sans-serif;
        font-size: 40px;
    }

    You can paste that in your Custom CSS box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

    Edit: Sorry I dont think you can edit post here. But I manage to finally add the revolution slider to my home page. My question is now how can I get the images to be in good quality but not make my homepage slower?

    Hey,
    1. Can you post a link?
    2. You can use this plugin to change the default select options text: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-customizer/

    So I thought about this. Yes if you set a category stick posts show in order, per wordpress. I wasn’t thinking. If you don’t set a category then yes the posts would show.

    Hannahs idea with the shortcode is set up to be two rows. unless you add in preset columns inside pagebuilder.
    It’s not not going to work perfect but that is probably your best option based on what your trying to do. Add a 25% column and a 75% column.

    Hey,
    “I’ve done something to lose it” – actually you didn’t do anything. WordPress core removed it. They decided to simplify that section in version 4.4 of wordpress and now you just click the permalink and that does the same thing as the view post button.

    #71044

    Here’s what it looks like in the text editor:

    script type=”text/javascript”
    a=’ashley’; b=’cedarcitymusiclessons.com’;
    document.write(‘< ‘+’A hre’+’f=”mai’+’lto:’+a+’@’+b+'”>email us’);
    /script

    (I deleted the <> around script because it wouldn’t let me post on this forum…)

    Hi Nancy,
    In Theme Options > Blog Options set Standard Blog Post Summary Default to Text. Does that work for you?

    Hey,
    1. You would need to make sure the posts that are going to show on one page all have the same parent category and the post that show on the other have a different parent category if your wanting to split theme. They can’t share categories.

    2. You can’t use the wordpress standard category widget to only show certain items. You would need to make a custom menu for each column with links to the category pages then use the custom menu widget in each column to show the custom menus.

    For events I recommend this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    events would be there own post type not a blog post.

    Hey Sharon,
    I’m seeing your images in the post page. Do you mean on the blog page? You can set your blog post summary default in Theme Options > Blog Options under Blog Post Defaults. Or you can customize for each individual post within the post edit page.
    Hope that helps!

    Hey,
    The theme doesn’t hook into anything in terms of email it only uses the send mail function in wordpress if your using the contact form page template. It is by the way the same form that is in free.

    Can you post a link to your page? If you have set the page template to the contact form template change that to be sidebar or fullwidth. If you have the page template on defualt try changing that to sidebar or fullwidth.

    Another factor… The two blog pages above will allow for comments. These other two (All About You, Energy for Life) will have postings as a blog without comments allowed. So, are they all currently set up right?

    Currently I have a calendar that is tied to posts. I want it to be exclusively for events that may or may not have a signup and fee. What plug in do you recommend for Virtue Premium? Does woocommerce have an events calendar interface? Or can I modify the existing calendar and remove posts and put in events in some way?
