    Hanhah,

    1. I created the Kadence slider but when I did a preview, it only shows the slider on the home page and nothing else (missing sidebar, logo, etc). If I published the slider, am I going to see the other items such as sidebar, etc?

    2. I want my homepage to have a kadence slider on top and grid postings of the most recent posts right under the slider like this link: http://rasamalaysia.com/ Where do I look to get this setup?

    Sorry Ben,

    I don’t know what happen. I just know that since latest update of pinnacle I had from time to time strange issues.
    I created more than 50 posts and they were fine. I turned the pc on again after two hours and I got blank page on italian version.
    I deactivated all plugins but the issue persisted.
    The server log of host gave the lines with error in resizing homepage and other pages.
    I changed the size of the videos and padding values but the black div behind the videos wasn’t wider only a minimum bigger than video itself.
    I turned the widget two columns anything went on place.
    So that’s what happen.
    I suppose something isn’t completely compatible with wp 4.2.2 and maybe is the theme but I am not a developer.

    If you say one column it’s ok, well it was ok also for me at beginning than it turned wrong.
    Anyhow, the important is that is working for you. It could be my website or something not understandable for me. I will turn the widget to two columns again.

    In your shoes, I will check the code between two and one column just to see if resizing features is correct set so you can be sure of it. I saw sidebar changing size when I wrote you.

    Hey Sergio,
    You can create a sidebar for the staff page and add the social links widget. Or you can use pagebuilder and add the widget directly to the page that way.

    Yes Ben,

    Using the carousel in widget sidebar and selecting show > One column it makes this issue…it appears for sure with woocommerce product category, I haven’t tried with blogpost

    Ok so to try and recreate I need to place a carousel widget in the sidebar and make sure to use one column? Then it doesn’t work?

    Hello Ben,

    I wish this time you take note of my issue.
    After having the problem of the div I found out that it is related to Pinnacle page resizing feature.
    It works perfectly in full page without sidebar
    If I add a sidebar it works until I don’t add the carousel widget and it’s weird but is this the problem! In fact, if I use the carousel widget to show product category and select to show 1 column the sidebar assumes another width creating the problem of resizing.
    By chance I decided to select to show items in two columns and sidebar works perfectly.

    I suggest you give a look at pinnacle sidebar code.

    If I remove the sidebar anything works fine, the problem is in the page resizing.

    Hi Kim,
    Try adding this to your custom css box in theme options > advanced settings:

    .sidebar .product-categories li a, .woocommerce .product-categories li a {
  color: #fff;
  background: #0598ff;
  padding: 10px;
}
.sidebar .product-categories li a:hover, .woocommerce .product-categories li a:hover {
background: #000;
}

    Hello Ben and Hannh

    I need some help with my sidebar.

    In my secondary menu, I have a background color there is blue, the text is white and the active background color is black.

    For the blue color I use color code #0598ff

    How can I do the same in my sidebar.
    I can not see the settings in the theme settings.

    Hi Guys,

    I have a website – http://www.sandusa.net

    Id like to do two things.

    1. Remove the Short Product Descriptions from cart in sidebar.
    When you put a product in the cart and then keep browsing the store there cart will appear in the sidebar – id like to remove the product descriptions and just leave the title,image and price. nb I only want this to change in the sidebar not the checkout cart page.

    2. Remove the short product descriptions in the discount section of cart
    When you buy a towel you get 50% of the rest of the store. Id like to remove the product description in both the sidebar cart and and the checkout cart page.

    You guys are always super helpful so thank you in advance.

    Thanks for the idea Hannah! I actually see there is a pagebuilder option within the widgets (called Layout Builder) so I can use that in my sidebar without having to do anything to my homepage layout!

    Hi Susan,
    I think your best bet for doing this is to use pagebuilder. Set your font page display to a static page (Settings > Reading) and select the home page. Then with pagebuilder you can create columns including a long column on the right to give it a sidebar look. Does that make sense?

    Is there a way to have a sidebar that starts underneath the “Custom Carousel” on my homepage? Right now I don’t have a sidebar. I am thinking of adding one on the homepage but I would prefer if it could come after the carousel of images I have under the header (

    I put a Virtue Gallery (type: Standard) widget on sidebar, only want to display the thumbnails and the hover caption effect.

    Is it possible to turn OFF those links to the big image? (it doesn’t have big image in this case) or to make them link to a different URL?
    Also, can I reduce space between the thumbnails?

    In the pages make sure you select the sidebar page template. Once you do and you save there is an option to choose which sidebar you want to show.

    1. I don’t know where you entered the shortcode but I went in and made your home page a static page for you and added the shortcode.

    2. I selected the sidebar template. all good.
