    Hey,
    Your site is in maintenance mode. Do you mind removing this so we can take a look?
    Thanks,

    Hannah

    So it looks like your header image has been uploaded on localhost, but it hasn’t yet been uploaded on the live site. Try re-uploading the image[s].
    Do you know your php settings? For instance, your php memory limit? This could be keeping your icons from showing.
    Definitely stay current with updates. Not updating can cause unnecessary incompatibilities and complications.

    Hello again. I turned the recommended widgets back on again (the ones recommended for the theme), and the error above has gone away, but the images and headers on the mobile version are still missing.

    There was one other thing I remembered, I hadn’t updated to the latest version of wordpress or the theme until I had everything on the live site, although I guess that shouldn’t really indicate the problem because I have no way of knowing if the site worked on mobile before.

    Anyway, thanks for your help (please help!)

    I have made several chances in the theme options. But the thing is they don’t show in the website (sometimes it does most of the times it doesn’t). I have tried in safari and in Chrome, clear the cash, throw away plug-ins but nothing works. Have you any idea what i’m doing wrong?

    I’m using the Pinnacle Premium

    Hi Hannah

    1. I already had a default header image set, so I added a colour too, to see if it helped, but made no difference.

    2. Haven’t tried this yet, will get back to you in a bit

    3. I’ve disabled all the plugins and the web version still doesn’t show icons, headers, and some other images. Do you still see errors on the back end? I’ve been developing on Chrome, so when you mentioned back end errors I checked the site on Explorer and it looked like the same problem as the mobile site. That was fixed by turning off some of the plugins but mobile not. The site looks fine on local host – do you think this is a hosting problem?

    Thanks

    Hi Danielle!

    1. So if you like you can set the page header default background from Theme Options > Page Title. This will apply to all pages that do not have a set background. You can also set the page title color from there. Does that work for you?

    2. You can just add a media query to your current css. So use this instead:

    @media (min-width: 992px) {
    body.home #content .main {
    padding:50px 15px;
    }
    }

    3. I’m not seeing the icons showing on your site when I view from desktop. I am, however, seeing quite a few errors on the backend. I would try deactivating your plugins to test if one is interfering. Let me know if there’s no change.

    Hope that helps!
    Glad you’re enjoying the theme! Launching a site is exciting stuff:)

    Hi,

    Thanks for awesome support… Is there a place where I can give my testimonial/feedback for the Virtue theme ? I tried so many themes before stumbling on “Virtue” (honestly it was a stumble) and I said to my self that let me give this theme a try. I used and I liked it. I then upgraded to premium in the first week itself. I have used and tried so many plugins.. the Theme has NEVER given a problem. It is rock solid !! This was not the case in many other themes I tried. I was surprised. But then comes support. Both you and Hannah are amazing.

    I am near launch of my website and I am happy with the theme and the great support. Let me know if there is a place I can provide my testimonial/feedback. I would be happy to give.

    Thanks for the login/my account CSS.

    Hi!

    I’ve just made my site live (hooray!) and I’ve realised that there are a couple of issues with the mobile version I need to sort out pretty sharpish. My site is http://www.peskyvarmint.co.uk.

    1) The first problem is that most of the pages don’t have images behind the header, so the title of the page is barely visible because it is white text on very pale grey. It’s a bit weird because one of the portfolio pages has the header image, but I don’t think any of the settings are different, unless I’m missing something. But basically I need to either change the text colour to something darker ONLY on the mobile site where the header images don’t show up, and making sure in that case that they all don’t show up, or make the header images show up.

    2) I’d also like to be able to tweek the space between the home page title and the first block of content (I like the extra space on the desk-top size site but it is too much on a small screen), is there some custom css I can use to alter this? The way I made it happen as it is, is with:

    body.home #content .main {
    padding:50px 15px;
    }

    3) Finally, the icon menu doesn’t show the images on the mobile site home page, the image menu doesn’t work where I’ve used it on the services page, and none of the images on the photo retouch pages show at all. Also, I have a gif on the 404 page that doesn’t show on mobile. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or to not have them show up at all on the mobile site but still be used on the desk-top site? In the case of the photo retouch pages I’d probably need to have an entirely different page load on mobile to tell visitors there is more to see on desk-top. Probably related, the revolution slider I have on the main site home page wasn’t loading on the mobile site so I switched it off. If there is something I can do to make it load that would be cool.

    Thanks for all your help, I know I’ve been a massive pain, contacting you what feels like at least once a week for the last 17 years… I am genuinely very pleased with the site in general, and very excited to have it live – just these last few snags to sort and I’ll be very happy indeed!

    Best

    Hi guys,
    Any insight on this?

    I’m using the virtue gallery widget with carousel gallery type to display a couple galleries that scroll on the the homepage…

    When I upload images 640x480px size via media uploader, and insert them into the gallery, it is showing in the thumbnail view as 240×240 but scaled to 172×172.

    I can’t find these settings and why it resizes to the 240×240 dimension, then scales to 172×172. Either size works fine for my site’s application, however, this is greatly hurting the gtmetrix rating of the site, notably the “Specify image dimensions” grade.

    Is there any correcting this?

    Regards,
    Mike

    If your site is being slowed down by yoast you have other issues. Yaost is really simple plugin in terms of output. I suggest you take a better look at whats adding to your load time. Your server might take issue with the plugin somewhere. You can certainly try another one. Can’t hit this enough. For SEO you should really use a plugin if your serious about it.

    The theme SEO when avtivate runs and since it’s basic there are no controls in the archive pages. And since it’s running it has to output something thus it outputs what you have set in the theme options > advanced settings.

    #58358

    Hi,

    The website is the following: http://www.ecosmartlighter.com

    So essentially I uploaded an SVG image as the logo, but the image is too big and I want t make it smaller. I contacted the developer of the plugin that allow me to upload an SVG image to wordpress and he told that the best way to do this would be the following:

    “Here is what I would suggest:
    Add a class to your IMG tag

    <img src="yoursvg.svg" class="your-css-target" alt="Alt Text" />

    and then, in your stylesheet (or custom CSS field depending on theme), you will add styling to your-css-target like so:

    .your-css-target {
        width: 30%;
        height: 30%;
    }

    Hi Johan,
    Can you provide a link to your site so we can see what progress is being made?
    So when you’re in the page builder editor and you edit a row and open the layout tab on the right you’re not seeing the padding-top option? Are you up to date on the plugin, theme, wordpress?
    Also in the layout tab, do you have the option to set the Row Layout to full width stretched?

    Hey,
    Sure can you post a link to your site so I can see the widget code. Then I can help you position it how you want.

    Hey James,
    fyi: as a bundled plugin you don’t get a license for themepunch support. You have to come to us. There licensing works two ways depending on how you get it. With both you only get one site license but if it’s bundled you don’t get an support key or some of there premium demos.

    As for your issue. I did a test with that pdf plugin and rev slider 5.0.5 (not sure why your using 5.0.2 maybe you haven’t updated the theme and wordpress??)
    I have no surge in memory. What else are you running on your site? What other plugins?

    Just to be clear you are saying that as soon as your activate the rev slider the site breaks right? because your error is coming from the “text_renderer” script in the pdf plugin.

    Can you go into the server files and look at your php error logs? I think it would be good to see if you have some other plugin spinning up the memory.
