You have a setting in your multisite super admin or a plugin that is not allowing raw html output in widget areas. It’s not an issue of the html your using or the widget but of your wordpress setup. You didn’t send a super admin so I can’t check your multisite settings but I suggest you start there then deactivate all your plugins till you find the setting that is cleaning all script tags from the text editor.

Iknow the theme SEO is basic but I was wondering why it is changing the meta titles of certain pages and not leaving them to the defaults WordPress is setting?
I hate to use another plugin which is adding a lot of bulk. Yoast is actually slowing down the site by 1 s…

So if you want a slider in the portfolio grid page you have to set the post summary to slider and add portfolio slider images… see here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#portfolio_posts

The theme SEO option is meant to be basic and very limited. If your serious about SEO we recommend using Yoast SEO.

In fact the main reason the theme SEO is still in the theme is for backward compatibility with the first versions of the theme. But SEO should really be saved outside of a theme so there is no loss of info if you change themes at any point in the life of the site.

Hi Hannah,

actually I’m not the brightest mind when it comes to WP customization. I have the Cyclone Slider Pro, Kadence Slider and Revolution Slider installed, but I just deactivated them and they don’t seem to have anything to do with the “Add Lightbox link in the top right of each item” button.
Also, I have no lightbox plugin installed.
I’m using the Virtue Premium portfolio grid as my front page and the last setting in the “Portfolio Page Options” says “Add Lightbox link in the top right of each item – Yes/No”. As far as I remember, when I started to build the page a year o so ago, the magnifying glass was properly showing when switching the button to Yes and not showing when switching to No.
As to your second question, I don’t quite understand it. I thought I was using the portfolio grid on my main page and image slider galleries on my portfolio pages.
Among the remaining plugins that I’m using maybe the Black Studio Tiny MCE Widget or Page Builder Site Origin could have caused some kind of conflict? Because switching between the three different editors never worked fine.

In Woocommerce 2.4.6 the ability to add a “Variable Description” to each Variable Product was implemented. These Variable Descriptions appear immediately below the Clear Selection button.

hello Hannah!

I try this, but because I am using the style no.4 for my site ( so I have a “home page” enabled in the Theme Options > Home Layout) if I enable any other option, this will appear on the bottom of the front page, which looks strange..I need something to insert in the content of the homepage.

Hi,

I need some further help with some CSS codes.

1.) The mobile menu is located on the top right. I would like it to be on the top left.
2.) I would like to change the text type in every column of the footer. It should be the same as the rest of the website. What CSS code would change it to “Bentham” ?
3.) Still need help with the child theme. Still couldn’t fix it myself.

Thank you for your support. But I usually take advantage of WordPress Excerpt than allowing WordPress to choose it from the first paragraph of the very post. I’m looking for an way that will automatically limit the length of my Excerpt (for example to 40 words or 60 words) and add a Read More… link after it. The theme does have a feature called Post Excerpt Length located under Blog Options tab which only works when I leave the WordPress Excerpt blank.
 
Note: I could not post a link to my website since it’s under development on my localhost. I currently have the following configuration.

Hi there, thanks firstly for a great theme! I need a little help with a few things if possible I have searched the forums and tried a few different bits of code for some of these but with no luck- this is my site *Login to see link
1. I can’t work out why my 5 boxes do not align. It has somthing to do with the text, as the empty boxes sit all flush, but I cannot work out why.
2. I would like to decrease the gap at the top of the footer before the contents heading and contact icon
3. I would like to change the font size in the footer widget in column one – contents
4. I would like the topbar menu to sit to the right
5. is it possible to have a small yellow (#f3cd00) vertical line to separate the menu items eg HOME | OUR TEAM | CUSTOMERS
6. Is it possible to change the background colour on different pages. Where the dark grey currenty is I would like to change it to a lighter grey and the yellow on different pages.

Im currently following the tutorial you guys made for the coffee store demo.

Hi Kadence, Please can you take a look at my messages to both plugin makers Revolution Slider and PDF Invoices regarding a memory outage after upgrading to version 5.02 of Revolution Slider.

I of course cannot get in touch with Revolution Slider as I cannot find my license purchase key?

In a nutshell the new revolution slider is stopping the pdf invoices and other pdf plugins I have tried working.. but when I disable the new Revolution Slider 5 it works perfectly and downloads the invoices. Basically when active i’m just getting a blank screen and host is saying it runs out of memory even though set to high memory so definitely some sort of conflict. Please can you advise?

With the new revolution slider 5 activated both this PDF plugin and 2 others I tried basically ran out of memory when generating the pdf’s leaving me with a blank screen but when I de-activate version 5 of Revolution Slider they work just fine. My host said it was running out of memory and already 128mb set in htaccess.

I tested all other plugins and this one was definitely the one causing the issue.

Please advise what I must do to fix.. I did get my host to zip up a backup of the older version 4 but of course would rather use 5.

Or if you have updated and fixed this issue but I must buy the latest version 5 please let me know as I definitely got the plugin properly at some point but not sure whether with a theme or something. I am using a KadenceThemes license but not a clue how to get the licence code.
Also how can I download the latest revolution slider if purchased from KadenceThemes as I cannot see any options on their site!

=============I have memory set to 128mb in htaccess and was working before so not sure why it’s not working any more.If you could perhaps let me know what the problems might be that would be great.Many thanks

Hello Anthony,
There have not been any significant changes lately that affect the memory usage of the plugin, and usually 128M is more than enough. Are you getting this error on single PDF creation or on bulk export?Two things you could try:
If you’re using a PNG image for the header logo, try using JPG instead – on some servers this makes a huge different in memory usage (JPG doesn’t need any further processing to be included)
Run the P3 Profiler plugin to see which plugins take the most memory
If that doesn’t help, then I’m afraid the only other suggestion is to increase PHP memory – some plugins and or/themes just use a lot of memory (even when not necessarily doing anything).Let me know if that helps!Ewout

What would you suggest I do as a lot of people use revolution slider etc.It also makes the other woocommerce pdf invoice system not work as I tried that too but not sure what to do next as I have now upgraded with no older version of Revolution and like the features of the new one!Please advise next steps.Many thanks

go to THEME OPTIONS > ADVANCED SETTINGS

enable the SEO function and write in some nice keywords that help find your site – done.

For advanced SEO you need to install some extra plugin, like YOAST SEO and at least read/watch some tutorials.
Tutorials you can find on YouTube and Google search.
