    Updated Virtue Theme to latest version…
    Updated WOrdpress to 4.3…
    Everything was ok….
    Then updated Revolution Slider to latest version and it will not show up on the site.
    No CGI errors, no debug errors… not sure where to look.
    Can you please help?

    Thank you,
    Maurice Isaiah

    Hi sam,
    Do you mean image sizing? That is kind of up to you and the look you want. The demo products are sized around 1200x1200px. Is that what you mean? Can you post a link to your site?

    Hey Peggy,
    Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    .container.virtue_sitewide_banner {
        text-align: center;
    }

    Hi William,
    Without the slider active it’s hard to tell the root of the issue. I’m seeing several 400 errors on your site which could be from a conflicting plugin and that could be what is causing your revolution slider not to work. Could be worth deactivating your plugins to test.

    I have tried on 2 separate browsers to upload the zip file.

    After about 2 minutes I get an error message saying “File too large” or site could not be contacted and process needs to be reset.

    Can you assist.

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the reply. If possible kindly give me the exact code for this? I just started learning php code and I have difficulty in understanding the process on the website link you sent.

    I Just want to add “Chose payment type” title before payment method selection.

    Thank you very much.

    Great template but you’d think there would be an option where you upload the sitewide banner to center it.

    How do I center the sitewide banner?

    I looked. Seems you have a folder called “portfolio” in your main site folder on your server. That is throwing everything off. Doesn’t have to do with the import it’s that your running another wordpress inside a portfolio folder.

    I changed the slug to projects so you can see.

    Ben, great image! Your hashtags understate the glory of it all! Am a wee bit jealous!

    You’re kind to make those offers on the 3 items. Unfortunately, I am doing the dev on my laptop and offline, so don’t have links right now to send. Tomorrow (am in UK for the time being), however, I will package up some relevant screenshots and details, and I suspect I can guess some of what you are looking for. Perhaps you can then advise me on what further specifics you need, or we can agree that it’s best to pin this until I get the critter online. Don’t want to turn this exercise into a challenge for you (or a snowballing science project for me), and these are not critical path items to bringing the site live.

    ok, so I just added that to a child theme with what is in the link I posted. It works fine.

    Can you send me a temp login to your site?

    What files are you referring too? you should just have one file that has code that you paste into the theme options importer. And that will only import your theme options.

    Can you send a temp login to your site I would be happy to do this for you.

    Hello,

    I’ve set my Home Page Slider Options to display a revolution slider, but the slider doesn’t show.

    Here’s the page:

    Okay, I was able to remove the margin but there is one top-margin above the h1 in the middle. How can I get rid off this but ONLY this h1 and not any other? The same question applies to the background color because right now I am using
    div.siteorigin-panels-stretch.kt-panel-row-stretch.panel-row-style, #pl-11{background:#f3eec9;}
    and I would only like it to be for these certain rows and not for every stretch row I have on my website. I am having a hard time finding the right selectors for rows and cells…

In the demo link that I found ( I am trying to create different product pages- exactly like the “pack Sale” and “apparel” options on the demo site. i can not figure it out- Is there a tutorial on this somewhere or can someone just point me in the right direction? my website is http://www.poseidontactical.com

    Thank you!!

    Its happened to all sites. Some clear up after a while and others don’t. Too much trouble.

    On one of my sites I had everything running fine. Then updated WordPress. It shutdown Revolution. So I have gone back to old reliable, Cyclone! I am done with trying to get it to work properly. Can you recommend another slider with layering?

    How did you import data from another site? Did you use the wordpress importer?

    Can you send a login I’ll take a look.

    I think I know what’s wrong, but it’s difficult to explain, but here goes.
    I had an old website and loaded both the Virtue “Theme Options” data and the WP data into a new WP installation.
    I changed the permalinks to “Postname”.
    Then I added a new portfolio to it. And clicked “View Page” and got “page not found.”
    After much experimenting, I also noticed when I clicked “View Page” for the other portfolios, it went to the old website.
    Then I defined a home page with the old and new portfolios on it and from there, the links work correctly and go to the new portfolios.
    Then I changed the permalinks back to “Default” and everything worked correctly — even when I click “view Page” to view a portfolio from the dashboard.
    So, the problem has something to do with the data that was loaded from the old site. It seems to use the old portfolio names when “View Page” is clicked and permalinks are set to “Postname”, but works fine if permalinks are set to “Default”.
    I can live with permalinks set to default, but hopefully this info may be of use to you and please let me know if you have any insight on this. Jetpack is deactivated and I have not added any plugins to the site. TY for your help, and let me know if you want access to the dashboard.
