Hi

After updating theme, i went to create an expanding menu after creating it, menu would expand when clicked on i want it to expanding when hovering over it.

I’m using the same theme on another site and hovering over it to expand menu works fine.

Can someone tell me if im doing something wrong or do i have an issue?

If support can PM me i can give me access, if need be.

Hi Ben,
sorry i completely forgot it was a plugin…
I thought it was standard in wordpress… I installed it at the time becausei use it on another website…
I’d like to use it on my faq page

While I do appreciate the effort with the screen shots. I need a link to your site. Not a screen shot of it. I can check your settings by reading teh code and then give you the proper css based on what you have selected.

Css can go in your theme options> advanced settings.

I am showing a portfolio and when the category type is selected, there are two page numbers at the bottom of the images even though there are only two portfolio images shown, and if page two is selected, I get a 404 page not found. I think I figure out your issue. Had to do with attributes with sanitize values like “S/M”

Hey,

You wrote “All I want to do is add a second sidebar.” And I want to make it clear. That is not an option in this theme. What we are suggesting is a workaround and a good workaround but still it’s important that you understand that. You have to use pagebuilder for this “work around” to work. So here is what I can do. Please send me a temp login to your site. I’ll set up the page for you then you can see how it’s done from there. If I can’t get your directory plugin to work with pagebuilder I can give you some shortcode help.

Thank your for your help!
I downloaded the plugin, but it said it’s untested with my version of WordPress.
I ended up using the “Info Box” widget.

I have one more question:
I tried using the Visual Editor widget to just add text with links to my Contact Info. But the test isn’t showing up (it should be in the footer section on the far left side). I put the link below to my test site. I’m not sure why the content in the Visual editor isn’t displaying.

Hi Ben

Here is the page, and the screen shots. I’ve had to disable pagebuilder because it seems to mess up the css and the plugin.
All I want to do is add a second sidebar.

Hannah suggested I use PageBuilder. But it’s not displaying the content of the shortcode in the content area correctly.
So in a nutshell
SHORTCODE working fine in normal Virtue Premium theme.
I need to add a second right hand sidebar. I need two side widget areas.
Hannah suggested I use pagebuilder to achieve that.
I installed pagebuilder and added the editor plugin that they suggest.
I installed and activated pagebuilder, selected a text editor box.
added the short code in the text editor, not the preview as usual.
It doesn’t show the normal shortcode display.
It misses css, and leaves out the google map.

I’ve never used pagebuilder before. I really jsut need to add a second right sidebar and have it be responsive.

Please advise, this should work. I tried it in CANVAS woothemes, and it works there.
And it works in Virtue, just not in pagebuilder.

If you could tell me how to add a second widget sidebar on the right that would solve my problem another way.

I don’t want to have to change themes. I want to use VIRTUE, but need the second sidebar.

Hi Ben,
1) the only pagebuilder js I had added was wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/js/styling.min.js
and when defering it to the head or body, the layout breaks even more. Even when minify is enabled in auto mode, it will do the same, which is starnge because it does not do this on the premium demo and you are using minify in auto mode there, aren’t you? Did you exclude any js specifically?

2) ALso, I noticed that since the update of theme and Woocommerce, there is no required asterisk for postal code in the shipping/billing fields an longer on my site…is this a bug?
3) And last but not least: On IE, the product price and the blog post date numbers are not the right font. And on IE the postal code box in the shpping fields has a red border…all these are even with W3 completely deactivated.

Dashboard > updates.

On your wordpress site.

If yo udon’t see an update for virtue premium then your server may be blocking it. In which case you would need to manually update.

Yea just update your theme to the latest version. Currently thats 3.2.1 .

You should have access right in your site.

Hey,
When you edit the footer text and save are you removing the shortcodes that are there?

Are you then clearing your site cache?
