Hi Hanna, I did study the info on that link site and tried setting up a portfolio page. I also know the product still displays with a sold on it. What I’d to do with the sold items is put them on a separate page so visitors can see what items I’ve created in the past. I don’t know if I need a gallery or a portifolio page. I’ve only been able to set up a slider on a portfolio page but that won’t work for me. I would really like a grid page that looks like my product page. I hope this makes sense to you. I really am new to this so I apologize if I’m suppose to understand something that I don’t.

For that to show up in the portfolio grid you would have to edit the theme. This would be an edit beyond support because you would need to use a child theme and customize the code in a template file.
As for styling the portfolio hover its possible with css. IF you can post a link to your site and give me specifics of what you want I can help with the css.

Hi,
I’m trying to add this like button plugin into my website : *Login to see link I am able to put the like buttons in my posts but I would also like to put them on the hover of each portfolio squares of the portfolio grid (the page that redirect to each portfolio posts). Is it possible? Also, is there a way to customize the portfolio grid hover? Like changing the color, the opacity, the size, etc. ? I tried to find a way, but I don’t know where to search.
In forum: Virtue Themeno, but I’ll add a little alt tag for you in the next update. Rest assured through alt tags have nothing to do with site speed.

It’s odd. In the demo I can set the gallery to carousel and the lightbox works fine: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/wordpress-gallery/
The thing with your site is that when I look it’s missing code in the output for the carousel. Have you tried deactivating plugins in your site?

yes, i am familiar with the fixed body image, but i like how the parallaxing still scrolls, but at a slower pace. that is what i was wanting to do.
and i really just need it for my header (which is currently a kadence slider. can you go look at my site and see if you can recommend a way to do that?

Per the instruction of Hannah, I implemented the following custom CSS to change the virtue: image grid to side by side (2 images) on mobile devices:

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi, I happily built my shop, it all worked absolutely fine, worked out that to see products in categories had to put in the custom links in menu etc., I built the site on my domain http://www.avalonessences.biz then changed it over to http://www.avalonessences.co.uk, long story but thats what I did, Im not sure if this has caused the problem, but I cannot view any products or any product categories on the site, please help!!

Hi guys, I have run into an issue upon updating to the latest Pinnacle from 1.3.3 (I recently had to revert to using an older backup of my site) to 1.3.7, I have a gallery page and most of the image links have become broken. The images are in my media folder and viewable, some of the imagery is being used in portfolio post and still connected, I’m stuck in what to do and how to reconnect these images, the page is here:
Can you please help me to find a way to get the images back. I tried recreating the gallery, removing and adding the images but did not work.

Yes I’m using the latest version of the theme, version 3.08. Please visit the site and see for yourself that the image is not opening in lightbox.
It seems that it’s sometimes slow at loading the next image. I’m using firefox and IE.

I have created a 4 column set of virtue: images on my main page using the homepage widget option. It looks great on my computer but on mobile devices, only one image displays at once – this leads to excessive scrolling. Is there any way the show two virtue: images side by side on mobile devices? You have a lot of controversial css. There’s too much going on for me to see if there’s errors. I would highly recommend cleaning this out.
In the mean time, you can try adding Ben’s css at the top of all your css to ensure it’s running on your site. Does it take effect then?

Sorry for the delay.
Malware is not a part of the theme. The files you download from here are free of anything like that. As for getting malware on the server that can happen in a lot of ways. It can happen through plugins, wordpresss or a general lack of security in the server or someone else’s site on your shared server that was infected. Just because there are files that have malware that are in the theme or in a plugin doesn’t mean anything in regards to how the malware got there. When a malware script gets access to right into files it would target theme files since those power the output of the site.I can assure you this wouldn’t be a very successful theme if malware was a part of it. 🙂 From your list above there is only one php file in the theme that “may” be infected. For a script to run on your site it would have to be a php file. From the list above the bulk of the theme files are css files meaning something wrote something into that. So I would like to make this clear that I don’t believe this is a theme issue at all.
However I would be happy to help you with the issue and investigate for you. For me to do that I will need ftp access to your server. along with access to your cpanel. You can do this through the Set as private reply option here on the forums.

Are you using a caching plugin? Something like wp-super cache would cause this. If you are using something like this I recommend turning it off while setting up your site. If you’re not using a plugin like this then please post a link.Hannah
In forum: Virtue Themei have a Virtue as a theme. im following a video on you tube how to make a website. When i make changes i cant see the changes unless i log out of wordpress then log back in… it is a pain in the behind. I am new to wordpress.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello! I use woocommerce to show my products that are for sale. When a product sells, I would like to be able to move it to a portfolio/gallery page. I would also like it has the same look as it did on the woocommerce shop page such as a grid format with all the pictures and when clicked on show larger or multiple items. Hannah, I had purchased the Pinnacle theme because I like Virtue so much and wanted to play with it, but with Ben’s tweak Virtue is working great for me here. I will post over on the Pinnacle forum as I know I’ll want to do this in the future with another site.
So my Left and Right menus are now nicely displayed, but I can only seem to get one or the other included in the mobile menu. Is there a way to have the mobile menus display the left (primary) then followed by the right (secondary)?
