Ok so I selected Demo 1 to install & received this message..

Attempted to activate Demo 1 file and received the following from the kandence-importer..

“Sorry but your import failed. Most likely, it cannot work with your webhost. You will have to ask your webhost to increase your PHP max_execution_time (or any other webserver timeout to at least 300 secs) and memory_limit (to at least 196M) temporarily.”

Contacted Siteground & they did some tweaking. Seems the demo files uploaded but with some curious side effects:

the very top screen menu bar reads left to right: My Account MyAccount MyAccount Bue Here Buy Here Buy Here

The Main Menu line reads: Home Home Home Portfolio Portfolio Portfolio Contact Us Contact Us Contact Us Features Features Features Blog Blog Blog Shop Shop Shop

So the menus have been tripled.

Any quick fix?

NO SLIDER ON MAIN MENU. Some of the pictures seen replaced by ICONS. Can you help we really want to start working on the site as soon as possible but would like to use demo 1 as a pattern.

If it’s the “front page” then it should be the url of your site. It should be the landing page for the domain name. So It’s not supposed to have the title in the url… You would have to use a redirect for the domain (which isn’t great for SEO) to have a separate page other then the landing page show when someone types in your domain.

is there a way to have the logo display differently for mobile devices and tablets?

my site is *Login to see link

i have it set as the site title right now (just the text) and i like that, but i dont like how it goes to two lines on the mobile device. so, what i was hoping was : is there a way to make it stay in one line? and even the menu button to the right. if this wont work, is there a way to make it just say “TPA” ?

I changed all the pictures di my site and found that single product page still running the old image.
I deleted chaceul bramserului but nothing effect, I tried with Regen.Thumbnails no effect.
The library no longer have old pictures.
Can you tell me where I could change anything, my site (mobilexgrup.ro).

Thank you Hannah for responding.

Its def very nice of Kadence to incorporate this feature but it doesn’t work for me. I want a website but not with all the shop stuff. I thought maybe I could delete all the shop stuff but it is not working. I am a newbie at this and it just made it more complicated and there is no tutorial on using the themes of Kadence importer.

Do you have any other options? As I have 67 pages worth of data. 🙁

Hey, Just to be clear. Most sites don’t use back buttons because thats built into the browser. But what sites do offer is breadcrumbs so you can navigate up to say categories or the shop page. Have you tried enabling breadcrumbs.

Hey the virtue toolkit is only designed for the free theme. It’s supposed to be deactivated in premium.

I started with Virtue free and was having 2 problems:
1) I could not get the background image to show
2) There was no menu on the site when viewed with Firefox on an Android mobile form

So, since there is no support for free virtue, I purchased virtue premium. However, I cannot upload it because the file size exceeds the maximum allowed upload (my host is 1&1).

Hi Ben, no I have not.

I have noticed however that the virtue/pinnacle toolkit is deactive. When I activate it I get the following error message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare kad_accordion_shortcode_function() (previously declared in /domains/autoperforma.com/DEFAULT/wp-content/themes/virtue_premium/lib/shortcodes.php:29) in /domains/autoperforma.com/DEFAULT/wp-content/plugins/virtue-toolkit/shortcodes.php on line 20

Does this shed any light on the issue?

For the padding it looks like you aded a right padding in the widget style to the forum text widget.

as for the other that is page builder default add this css:

@media (max-width: 780px) {

as for the background try this css:

This question really has 2 parts. I’ve come to realize that now that I’ve created the video gallery with the
virtue theme short codes, (about 80 on one page) my site is a lot slower.

What I be better off using a plugin?

These are not my videos. They are youtube videos that I am embedding.

Using the importer will replace any content that is currently on your site. It doesn’t re-download the theme. It is set up for you to have your desired layout but with your own content. So you would just replace with your own images/content. You’re also free to keep as is. Yes, you can replace the product information with your own and sell them.

Thanks for responding! Okay demo importer installed correctly after following the link you assigned, to the letter. Thank you.

I did not a warning message:

“Warning this can’t be undone. If you decide you want to completely remove everything on your site after testing out the demo content you can use this plugin: Wordpress Reset. Also if you want to try a different demo after you’ve installed one it’s best to use the reset plugin and clear your site before you install a second demo.”

does that mean my entire virtue premium them would have to re-downloaded from Kadence?

Further, can these demos be modified with real product and actually used?

and if you scroll down to the “We will serve the community in its struggle towards a better life!” section, you will see that i have made a transparent blue background for that section.. however, i am having a few problems. it lines up fine on my computer, but i noticed that when i size into a smaller screen, it adds padding to either that div, or the one next to it revealing the body image.

now, i have 2 questions:

first, is there a way to make the 2 divs backgrounds have full heights so that the padding issues dont arise?

and second, is there a way to have the left div (the one with the blue background) to have no background image? my intentions are for it to show thru to the body image.
