*Login to see linkWhen viewing the primary menu on my pc, the font color of the “sub items” in my menu is white. So you can’t see the items until you hover over them.
I’ve tried changing a lot of settings in my Theme Options > Menu Settings but nothing seems to work. Any idea?
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello, I started with the free version of Virtue theme and the latest post slider worked perfectly. Then I upgraded to premium and that slider shows only the loading wheel. Into the inspector I noticed that the articles were loaded, but they remained with 0 opacity, like there was no script executing on the page.
So I added into the same page a carousel – and now the slider works perfectly. I guess the script is the same for the two components, and the first cannot load it correctly.
However I need to remove the carousel from that page and keep the latest post slider working.
Thank you for your support.NB. I am using a child theme.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeFebruary 26, 2019 at 12:16 am #217782If it’s not clear by the fact that “google” fonts don’t do this, it should be clear by just testing top sites. (for example target, amazon score below 40)
Google Page speed has always been a set of ideals that are out of context of your specific site and not proven to provide the fastest load time which is the number to focus on. Load time and user experience over any algorism.
With that said I’ll add the filter for local fonts if you prefer that user experience. Again there is no context in which it makes any sense to define a fallback for an Icon font.
In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 26, 2019 at 12:07 am #217781I deactivated “Zendesk Chat Widget” and it works as it should. I reactivated so your site wouldn’t be missing something but that plugin is the issue.

In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 25, 2019 at 11:24 pm #217777Still, if I click on an image right as a portfolio is loading, it’s liable to go to the image file or the image’s media page for some reason–instead of popping up a lightbox. Not sure how to fix that, do you have ideas?
If you are clicking before the page is loaded then it should take you to the file. There is no way around that. Everything is acting as it should, the link is for the media file, the lightbox can’t load until the pages loads so your link is active and clickable.
You should instead focus on making the site load faster so that is less likely to be a concern.
Does that make sense?
When I look at the link you posted I see that you are using jetpack, and you are using there lightbox as well.

February 25, 2019 at 10:47 pm #217774I’ve been looking at the astra code to try and figure this out, it didn’t make sense, then I tested it locally and it worked so that lead me back to your site and it turns out that it has nothing to do with astra, you have a snippet on your site that conditionally loads woocommerce styles called “WooCommerce Optimisation”.
In the next update, I can add a filter that tells your snippet it’s a woocommerce page that you are previewing while in the closed post type that creates a template.

February 25, 2019 at 10:18 pm #217772Hey,
I’m sorry to hear that you couldn’t get the demo content installed.Without the php logs on your server, I can’t guess accurately why it wouldn’t run but using the WordPress installer is essentially the same thing. It’s bundled in the Kadence installer.
However, I would love to install it for you, I’m sure I can figure out whats happening and resolve it. If you can use Set as private reply and send me WordPress site access as well as ftp access or cpanel access to the server I can do it for you.
If that is not an option then we can dig into your server configuration and find out what’s happening. Starting by you contacting your host and asking them for php version information, error logs and have them verify max upload size and max execution time.
I’m sure we can get this resolved fast 🙂

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Cannot install demo content
I purchased the annual subscription yesterday and have managed to get the Ascend theme installed on a new website. Currently the site has no content. When I try to install the demo content using the Kadence Importer, it just sits on “Importing Content” and does nothing (the “wheel” spins but it doesn’t install). I’ve waited half an hour and nothing happens. Tried over and over.
I have looked through the forum threads and found information on installing manually using the WordPress Installer. So I got that plug-in, however I cannot find any .xml files at all in the unzipped Kadence Importer folder.
I’ve been working on this all day and am now totally frustrated. I had hoped this theme would be easy to get up and running.
I am on a shared server – hosted by Wealthy Affiliate.
If you could please advise how I can get the demo content into my site I would appreciate it.
Thanks
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
We are in the process up updating our website and moving to a faster server. During our testing, we have upgraded to the most recent version of the Virtue theme as well as WP.We are now noticing that when you go into a product, the aspect ratio is square, as it should be. The pic is actually rectangle if you click it, but we have the option to display 1:1 set in the theme.
When you go and select one of the options, the picture changes to a rectangle. I am not sure why this is happening, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Here is a product to see what is going on *Login to see link
Thank you in advance for your assistance,

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeFebruary 25, 2019 at 12:42 pm #217737a. I will consider a filter for that, a flash of unstyled/incorrectly styled text is often more jarring than waiting for the load, unless your site is really slow. In which case I would tell you to focus on that more. Consider that most people loading google fonts are doing it for the header larger fonts.
Als there is no way to load fonts from Google with this since they control the font face add.
b, I don’t see any good reason for this, icon fonts don’t have a fallback so showing gibberish while the icon font loads would be really strange. And again assuming your site is loading at a normal speed this shouldn’t be an issue. Can you give me some reference for why you think this would be a good idea?

February 25, 2019 at 12:24 pm #217735There is a plugin for Siteorigin: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woo-template-builder/
And a plugin for elementor: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woocommerce-elementor/
You should only be using one or the other. Are you trying to load both?

February 25, 2019 at 10:44 am #217718Hey Paul, likely that means you have a javascript error, I just tried your links but they show a different theme. Please reactivate and I can see what is creating a javascript error on your site.
