In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: header menu background colour lost on last update
Can such a thing be done? If so, how?
What I am trying to achieve is either some sort of bottom trim for the simple mobile header or, preferably, the ability to change its background color (and its color alone- the desktop color scheme is fine).
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Here’s a link to the site I’m working on.
In forum: Ascend ThemeI’m not sure what activating the parent theme did but many of the website settings were changed like footer, shop sidebar and I could not change them at all, changing settings in the theme options didn’t change the website. I had to revert to a backup I had. Once I did this I tried to recreate what you did, activated the parent theme and deactivating the pdf plugin and that did not work. Also note when activating the parent theme changing the ‘Enable an Extra Footer widget area above the footer’ doesn’t do anything.

Are you using any other plugins that allow for enabling and disabling of certain blocks? If so, make sure it’s not turned off.
If siteorigin page builder is active, you should be able to click the plus icon for adding a block, then search for the siteorigin block.
If you’re not seeing it, a login would be very helpful so I can try and find out why it’s not showing up.

I have one site that I have set up which seems to use more of the width of the page which I do not like. the content below the sliders seems to use full width and only way I can get it more center is to add padding or margin to the images which I do not need to do on my other sites using the same theme.

January 9, 2019 at 3:45 pm #212793I’d like to know what to do myself, so I can if needed make the necessary tweaks to other sites. I installed and activated “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” and then after your mention of “the site origin layout widget” added and activated “SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle” — still not seeing any block available that has anything to do with SiteOrigin.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
I have some problems with my little collection of Logos. I created them some time ago and they are all 150×150 png files.
My Problem is that in some cases they are displayed correctly and sometimes they get resized and don’t fit into the frame.
I use the Pinnacle GalleryWhat I found out is that on my iMac27 (Non Retina) everything looks fine, but on my MacbookPro15 (Retina) the images are displayed wrong.
I tried it out with several different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), but it is always the same.
On iPhone, iPad it’s although the same problem.
So my thought was that it has to do something withe the higher resolution displays.I’m not servicing my website very often, but I only remember that I had the problem from time to time and when I was doing a WordPress update it fixed it most of the time.
Here is a link to the website

Kind regards

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: White Background For Image Uploads
Hi Ben,
I cannot post a link to the content because it’s about Google Shopping Ads. I can only give you the link to the image upload, so you can see the black background there – there should be a way to change it to a white background, I believe.
This is about every image – product. Google Ads Shopping Feed asks you to link back to your website’s images (uploads) and that’s the only way you can supply the images to the feed. So I have to make sure it’s got a white background otherwise there is a black border around the image.
I hope this explains it better. I wonder why the defaulted colour for uploading the images in the browser is black.
John
