    Hi Sarah,
    Can you post a link to where you’ve added this on your site?
    Thanks!

    Hi Liz,
    1. In Theme Options > Site Header set “Enable Transparent header until scrolled?” to “Off”. Does that help?

    2. I would suggest using the Kadence Slider. Within the kadence slider settings there’s a single slide option.

    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hello,
    since last update i have 2 bugs on my website (Ascend 1.5.2)

    1) Only in Desktop Chrome Browser (Mobile Chrome seems to work and Firefox works well):
    In Single Post Pages the slider for the last posts does not load the images with lazyload. The first images still load normally, but as soon as the slider scrolls further the images are missing (sometimes they load at the second cycle).
    I use Lazyload by WP Rocket, which is supported in your theme.
    Problem exists since update 1.5.1

    Screenshot:

    2) Chrome and Firefox
    At the Ascend widget: Gallery -> Slider -> Thumbnail Slider=true
    Each time the slider scrolls further, 1 preview image disappears.

    Screenshot:

    Hey,

    That is odd! Must be something wrong related to site security.

    Can you link to where you’re adding the video so that I can see? When I test that iframe on my site, I’m unable to select German subtitles at all. Perhaps this is set based on the youtube user’s settings, rather than the preferences you set when adding the video? Even then, when I change my youtube language to german, the subtitle choice is still limited to english.

    I haven’t had any experience adding non-english subtitles to youtube, so sorry if my input isn’t very useful.

    1. Try going to Theme Options> Advanced Settings, and set the header background color to something rather than transparent. Let me know if that makes any difference. be sure that the transparency is set to 1.

    2. I strongly suggest setting up SSL for your site. This will help with SEO and the process should also eliminate the instances of different URL’s on your site. Take a look at this guide and let me know if you find it helpful:

    Have no idea why, but our blog post carousel is not showing, instead there is a big white space between the end of the articles and the footer. I deactivated it for the moment. Have any idea why is this happening? Thanks. (website: triadikon.ro)

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your reply as I don’t get much time to work on it during the week.

    https://adventuretravelcoach.com/wp-admin/

    Another problem is the following and I dont know how to fix it.
    I would REALLY appreciate your help seeing that I’ve been struggling for hours!

    The person said: decide: did you mean to launch the site on adventuretravelcoach.com not http://www.adventuretravelcoach.com ? It’s fine either way but you need to make the decision before launch for future SEO reasons. The choice between the www or non-www doesnt matter for seo but you want one single one and dont want to change it so the links coming in to your site in the future dont have to go through a redirect which loses some of the google juice.

    Thanks in advance
    Mimmie

    Kevin – it’s the descriptions for the archives – product categories, tags, etc.

    Here’s one of my categories with a description at the top:

    https://www.beautifulworldart.com/art-subject/usa/georgia/

    This is not using Elementor or Kadence Woo Templates. Neither has an option to output the description.

    The description is set using the description section when editing WooCommerce Categories or Tags. Every Category/Tag can have its own description.

    Ascend outputs it if its included. I am using Kadence Woo Templates on the product pages for this site but not on the WooCommerce archives.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    PS I am using a child theme but I haven’t altered the archive templates.

    Hello,

    Which social icons are you referring to?

    All of the links in your header are taking me to the adventure travel coach social media sites.

    Does it work when you’re logged out of wordpress?

    Hey,

    Do you mind sharing a link to your site so that I can take a look at how it’s setup at the moment?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    Can you specify the issue that you’re experiencing? I just tested on a fully updated site running pinnacle premium, and page builder is working fine.

    have you trie testing for a plugin conflict by deactivating your active plugins one by one to see if the issue goes away when a certain plugin is OFF?

    Be sure to clear your cache after each time.

    Let me know if this is helpful.

    Hello, nav bar: top navigation settings, they need styling differently on subpages so that are visible. I’m just guessing it is because I have styled the sitewide styles for it to transparent so it looks cool on the homepage, but it breaks it elsewhere throughout the site. How do I style it so it looks cool throughout the site and for individual override settings on the Edit Page > Home Page screen to make the homepage nav styles the exception – Help!

    Hello,

    I have recently updated all plugins and themes to current releases.
    The most valuable plugin Page Builder by SiteOrigin v 2.7.2 does not work with theme Pinnacle Premium v 2.4.2.
    I use wordpress v 4.9.6-pl_PL

    When I change theme for the other one i.e Twenty Seventeen the plugin Page Builder by SiteOrigin v 2.7.2 starts to work properly.

    Does anyone knows how to fix it?

    I’m currently using the “old” Woo Templates instead of Elementor but I have been testing it to get a feel for it. There’s a bit of a learning curve but of course there was one for using Site Builder as well. I’m not quite ready to use WooCommerce Elementor live just now but I’ve noticed one thing that has been a drawback for me with Woo Templates as well.

    There doesn’t seem to be a way to output Category descriptions on product archives.

    When I go to create “Product Archive Templates” there are only six Woocommerce related items to choose in Elementor. One is Product Archive Mainloop. The others are all related to checkout. The mainloop item doesn’t seem to pick up the description even though I’ve used one for the category in my test.

    I see there are some more items for product further down in the elements but I still couldn’t find an item that picked up description unless I’m just overlooking it?

    And I can’t find a built in shortcode from WooCommerce to pick up the category description…

    So, is there something I can add to my child functions or might this be an addition to a later version?

    As I said, I’ve had this same issue with the original Woo Templates and have just used the default version since Ascend outputs the descriptions anyway. But it would be nice to have the option on this new plugin to use category descriptions if they are populated.

    Thanks!

    Mark

    PS Clearly not urgent. As I said, I’m not using this live anywhere yet.

    Odd, it’s working on my test site. I suggest testing your active plugins by deactivating one by one to see if the notice works properly when a certain plugin is OFF.

    be sure to clear your cache after deactivating each plugin.

    Let me know if you find any conflict.

    Hello there,

    On our staging site (saintmarks.ecwwblog.org) I’m trying to customize our header so that it displays a white background behind the logo and menu text, then have the logo change while scrolling, still with a white background. The effect we want can be seen on our current live site (saintmarks.org). Just a different color scheme.

    Right now the header background is part-transparent when you first land on the page. I think it may have something to do with our home image/slider settings overriding the header choices.

    Which brings me to a second question–what’s the optimal way to display a single image, no slider or arrows, on the home page? Preferably that would also allow us to have a click through button like in the Pinnacle demo, and layover text.

    Thanks for your help!
    Liz

    I see the problem. This is happening on my site as well and appears to be a bug. The theme developer is out on a trip for the weekend and wont be able to update until Sunday or Monday.

    For a temp fix, add this CSS to Theme Options> Advanced Settings:

    .nav-trigger {
        z-index: 999 !important;
    }

    .mfp-container {
        z-index: 1000 !important;
    }

    Let me know if that works for you.
