Topic: Custom dropdown menu width
Hi,
I have a new question, I have a secondary menu, and there are some submenus with the secondary menu. I enabled the fullwidth menu, but I found that the dropdown menu width for me is too large, I need only 2 columns. So can we custom the fullwidth dropdown menu’s width? In plus, how to add a separator between 2 columns?
thank you!
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeGood evening,
We have 2 columns and 3 rows of ‘Latest Blog Posts’ on our homepage (*Login to see link ). Is it possible to force the pictures in each of the 3 rows to align? Due to the title/excerpt length, it is currently staggered.
Thank you for your time, we would appreciate any advice you can provide.
Best regards,
Alison & Ben

Hey Adam,
You could use a shortcode that selects specific product categories. Like this:[product_category category="books" per_page="8" columns="4"]
You could paste that into a visual editor widget within the home widget area (appearance > widgets). Make sure you enable Home Widget Area in Theme Options > Home Layout.
Hope that helps!Hannah

January 6, 2016 at 12:55 pm #74330When setting up each column the first submenu after your enabled fullwidth menu item is the columns title.. like “about us” or “image galleries” in the demo. The submenus to those items are what falls below in that column.
So
Features
> About us
> > Contact us
> > Staff
> > Testimonials
> > Testimonial form
> Image Galleries
> > Mosaic
> > Masonry
> > Gallery overview
> > Two Columnetc

January 2, 2016 at 9:18 pm #73791Hey,
Yeah I don’t know anything about a “carousel sorter”But if you would like to add a portfolio carousel you can use the carousel widget or shortcode.
[carousel type=portfolio orderby=date columns=4 items=8 speed=9000 scroll=all]Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeI purchased the Virtue premium theme today. When I tried to upload and install the zip file on my hosted wordpress, I received the following error:
“…Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
I am uploading from a Mac so I compressed the file before uploading and still had issues. I re-downloaded the file from Kadence thinking the first time the file was corrupted and I received the error message again.
I’ve located the style.css file in the Virtue Premium download folder and this is what is states:
/*

*/Please help me resolve this issue. I’ve spent way too much time trying to fix the problem.
On WordPress many people have written in about the same problem so I have to wonder why this problem hasn’t been corrected by Kadence.
Please advise.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Color of labels of products
Hey,
I set the main color of the theme to green and everything is OK for the products to sale and the featured products. But that is not the case for the product categories I introduced thanks to this shortcode [product_categories number=”13″ columns=”5″ ids=”37,41,46,47,49,50,57,58,59,60,61,62,63″] in the page content. The color of the labels of the products is basically grey (and becomes green when the mouse is on a product). Is it possible to set the color of the labels basically to green or any other color ?
The link to my site : 321fleurs.comAnd also how can I change the color of the text of the labels of the products ?
Thanks for your help.
Happy new year and best wishes to all the support team 🙂
Gerard
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Testimonials sort order
January 1, 2016 at 5:16 pm #73695Yeah instead of using the testimonial template you can use a shortcode and the fullwidth template.
[testimonial_posts columns="4" items="50" order="DESC" orderby="date"]Ben

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Subcategories grid
hey,
I used this shortcode to display a grid of categories in the content page as you indicated to me:
[product_categories number=”13″ parent=”0″ columns=”5″ ids=”37,41,46,47,49,50,57,58,59,60,61,62,63″]. No problem it works well. But now I introduced parent categories to order the previous categories (which are now subcategories). And now these subcategories aren’t displayed.
What I would like is just to display the new subcategories without the parent categories. Is it possible ? I guess that has to do with the argument parent=”0″ but doesn’t know what to do.
Thank you for your help.
Gerard
In forum: Virtue ThemeFirstly, I want to say thanks for the great theme. It’s really nice and powerful.
I tried to add some posts in my portfolio post. Like [blog_posts items=”10″ orderby=”date” cat=”teaching”]
But I want to add all the posts of that category. How can I add all posts in the list. And add the pages like the blog-grid page.
Meanwhile, How to align the posts in blog-grid page? If I add 2 columns. I found they are not aligned. Every grid is different height which is depend on the photo and title, etc. Is there a way to make them aligned like in the home page. Thanks
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeDecember 29, 2015 at 2:01 pm #73325Hey,
1.
https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/You can just add these shortcodes, although “products of the month” I’m assuming is a specific category your are creating.
[featured_products per_page="16" columns="4"] [sale_products per_page="8" columns="4"] [best_selling_products per_page="12" columns="6"] [product_category category="products-of-the-month" per_page="8" columns="4"]Then you can just add a carousel using the carousel widget or shortcode.
2. You can use the space shortcode (click pinnacle shortcodes). Or in pagebuilder give each one it’s own row.
3. You can add this css:
@media (min-width: 992px){ body.page-template-template-blog-grid .main.col-lg-9 { float: left; } }Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
1.
How can we do this the easiest way with Pinnacle:– Enable featured products, sales products, best selling products?
– But turning off their carousels?
– And display woocommerce product archive galleries on the homepage (solarieshop . se) like this?:
Featured products – 4 rows x 4 columns.
Sales products – 2 rows x 4 columns.
Best selling products – 2 rows x 6 columns.
(Products of the month – 2 rows x 4 columns. Not standard though..)
+
“Other looked at” – 1 row x 4 columns – here a carousel function would fit in nice for us 🙂2.
Is there a theme-way to control the space between the sections above? Between e g Featured products, Sales products and best selling products.3.
I pasted in the css code from your tutorial – to have a left sidebar. But for the blog (SolarieNyheter) we would like to have a right sidebar. How do we do that?Best regards

December 29, 2015 at 1:23 pm #73309a. In your custom css you have add this:
#logo {display:none;}After the code that shows the logo on tablet… you need to make sure you keep the order correct. That needs to be near the top of your css.
b. IN your page-builder settings you can define what size you want the layout to be mobile. Just set that to 767.
2. Sounds like you shoulnd’t be using pagebuilder but instead using shorcodes for the image menu columns. If you use the theme column shortcodes you can define different widths based on the screen size… like
[span3 phone="span6" tablet="span6"]but you can always use css…
@media (min-width: 768px){ #pl-48 .panel-grid-cell { width: 50%; float: left; } }Ben

There is an additional query I have.
http://www.nelsonwere.com/bespoke-bags/
The gallery at the bottom of the page displays each item twice.
I’m using this shortcode:
[gallery type="carousel" columns="2" size="medium" link="file" ids="1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969"]Any ideas?
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben and Hannah, I would like to add a custom menu and the footer menu in 2 vertical columns – text only.
When I set the menus in Virtue it creates a box or button around the text – see your footer below.
An example of how I would like the footer to look (just the vertical text menus) is at – *Login to see link
I am sure you are both busy so Thank You in advance.
