    For that you would need to change this either set the front page as your post page and use the page content and disabled the latest posts in your theme options > home layout.

    Or add a shortcode to display posts inside the home static page content or widget area.

    [blog_posts type="photo" items="6" columns="3"]

    Hey,
    You are adding these columns through pagebuilder. Here is the css to hack this out but if you where going to do this again I would suggest not using a fullwidth row with empty columns on the left and right instead using a gallery.. But this css should work for you:

    @media (max-width: 780px){
    .panel-grid:first-child .panel-grid-cell .widget_siteorigin-panels-builder.panel-last-child .panel-grid .panel-grid-cell {
        width: 25% !important;
        float: left!important;
    }
    .panel-grid:first-child .panel-grid-cell .widget_siteorigin-panels-builder.panel-last-child .panel-grid .panel-grid-cell:last-child, .panel-grid:first-child .panel-grid-cell .widget_siteorigin-panels-builder.panel-last-child .panel-grid .panel-grid-cell:first-child {
        display:none;
    }
    }

    Hi,

    I am experiencing an issue with the portfolio post shortcode on a development site. When I resize the browser window the grid gets messed up. Images are suddenly overlapping each other and the gallery no longer expands to the full width of the page. There is also a small scroll bar next to the portfolio row.

    I’m using the portfolio post shortcode to display a set of portfolio images on the homepage. To build the homepage I am using the page builder tab. I added the portfolio post shortcode in a text widget in a separate single column row. I’m experiencing this issue in Chrome and Firefox. Somehow it works fine in IE. I haven’t been able to test it in Safari yet.

    I’m using the following shortcode: [portfolio_posts orderby=random items=8 masonry=false columns=3 ratio=landscape hoverstyle=default layoutstyle=flat-no-margin fullwidth=false showtypes=false showexcerpt=false lightbox=false cat=models]

    Any idea what is causing this issue? Feel free to take a look at the site on http://www.starlmodels.com. The front end is password protected with password ‘model101’.

    Hey,
    Looks like your using a post grid widget. Which is only designed for a footer or sidebar. It only ouputs images that link to the posts.
    If you want a portfolio grid like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/portfolio/

    Then you would need to use the portfolio grid page template see here: https://www.kadencewp.com/creating-a-portfolio-page-with-virtue/

    Or you can use the shortcode [portfolio_posts columns="4" items="10"]

    Hey,
    1. Sounds like an js error on your site. can you post a link I’ll tell you why the grid isn’t showing.

    2. (multi image) You can set the post summary to be a slider in your post settings. That will pull from the post slider images.

    3. If you would like a gallery with images in columns use the “add media” button then click “create gallery” that why you can output the images in columns.

    i just realized that i can set in “Blog Category/Archive Defaults” Category Display Type -> Grid, but it doesn’t work well for me.
    If i set Grid and 3 or 4 columns i get white page, but not empty i can find elemnts on it and click to enter post. If i set 2 columns everything is ok.

    Hi Guys
    I have a page with 3 virtue columns and I want to make the middle column wider, and the two side solumns thinner. I’m not sure how to adjust the css.
    What I’m trying to do is float a login box in the center of the page, maybe 500 px wide, So I did a work around of columns.

    What do you recommend?

    Hi,

    Just getting started here with the Pinnacle theme and are trying to structure my homepage. One of the elements on my homepage will be the ‘Latest blog posts’ section.

    In the dashboard I’ve added ‘Latest Blog Posts’ to the Enabled section. Below that in the ‘Home Blog Settings’ I’ve saved the following settings:

    Home Blog Title – From the road
    Choose How many posts on Homepage – 6
    Choose how many post columns on Homepage – 3

    Somehow these settings aren’t saving correctly. Instead of 2 rows, with 3 posts each my Homepage keeps on showing 10 blog posts over 4 rows in 3 columns. What can I do to fix this issue?

    Here is a link to the blog:

    Thnx!

    Hey,
    I would suggest creating three product categories then assigning your products/services/donations accordingly. Then you can use a shortcode like this to display them on a page: [product_category category="services" per_page="12" columns="4"]
    Hope that helps!

    Hey,
    So Masonry is different from that site. Masonry is still columns the height of your images are different but there are still the columns you set. The link you posted is something different. That is a preset for height and width and it’s a formula so it looks random but the image are all cropped to be equal for the grid some are two columns wide some are on and some are two rows high and some are one.

    That isn’t an option with the theme. right now the only way to get close is by using pagebuilder but I’ve been considering building something like this in the future. It will be called a mosaic layout.

    Hello there,

    I am using “actual blogpost” on my homepage with Pinnacle Theme grid post / three columns. On my Blog overview page I want to use the same layout, but i don’t find the right widget for it.

    How can I display latest posts also in grid post view – three grids.

    Greetings, Tobias

    Hey,
    1. In Theme Options > Home Layout just enable Latest Blog Posts and you can set the number of columns if you scroll down to Home Blog Settings.

    2. Try re-saving your permalinks. Go to Settings > Permalinks and save. Let me know if there’s no change.

    3. You can do this with css. Which bullets do you want to change? And what do you want to change them to?

    Hello,
    Does the vimeo shortcode work when it’s placed within a shortcode column?

    On this page: – where it says: with fitness for surfers you will… – this is where I have the shortcodes for the columns and the video. The shortcode and video show on the editor, but not on the page when updated/published.

    thank you

    Hi there

    Ive created a few tabs in a portfolio page
    When I add a shortcode for anything like gallery, map or testimonials it looks perfect when I’m using only one of these shortcodes

    When I set another tab with any other shortcode, the formatting for this tab and the rest if the page goes to hell
    The tab with shortcode closest to the top always looks correct – its the following tabs with shortcodes that have the issues

    I swap the tabs around to test the shortcode and the issue always remains with the tab with the 2nd shortcode entry

    Tested with a brand new blank portfolio page and get the same issue

    Thanks
    Will

    [tabs]

    [tab title=”title1″ start=open]
    [gallery columns="4" link="file" masonry="true" ids="581,587,583,704,594,589,597,600,598"]
    [/tab]

    [tab title=”title2″]
    [testimonial_posts orderby=date items=4 columns=2 cat=testimonials-wake-boarding-example-company]
    [/tab]

    [tab title=”title3″]<p>Copy and paste to create more</p>[/tab][/tabs]

    Hey Stephen,
    Try setting the number of columns to two from the Portfolio Edit page.
    Does that work for you?

    PS. I copied the content-singleportfolio.php file into my child theme and changed the columns from 4 to 3 … that seems to work just fine but I think it’d be good to have an option for this in the theme options in the future. Thank you.

    Hello Ben and Hannah,

    I’m having trouble getting product images on my Shop page to display in the intended way. I’ve noticed that when you change the number of columns displayed on the shop page from “Three Column” to “Two column”, the system greatly shrinks the product image and adds the Product Short Description to the right of said image.
    What I’d like is for the image to be displayed in its full size without the Product Short Description.

    A user was having a similar problem over in this thread:

    The following screen shot best shows what I’d like to achieve:

    Two products per row with large images spanning their entire “product container” without a Product Short Description.

    I’ve tried the steps provided by Ben in the above thread, including regenerating all thumbnails, but to no avail – I just can’t get the product to display as in the screenshot.

    I’d be very grateful if you could help me resolve this issue. I’ll provide login info to my site below. Thanks!

    Kind regards,

    Frank

    Hello! I’m trying to setup my portfolio. I’ve selected my page to be 3 columns and I’d also like to have 3 column image grids on the item. However, selecting the image grid defaults to 4 columns, instead of 3 columns. I read in another support thread that the only way to use the 3 column image grid is to set it up as a gallery by using Add Media and selecting to use the Three Rows layout. This will not achieve the look I want.

    I want to use the Above layout and have 3 columns of images. Can you direct me on what CSS to change to accomplish this? I tried changing the column widths to 33.33% but that didn’t seem to work. I also tried setting the height and width in the portfolio item but this also didn’t work.

    I also read that you were going to be adding an option to select the number columns for the image grid but this was posted in July and I don’t see an option for this. When will this be added? Thank you.

    Hey Vu,
    I think this will work for you:
    [carousel type="cat-products" cat="photos" items="8" columns="4"]
    You can see a full list of shortcodes here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#shortcodes
    Hope that helps!
