    Hey,
    1. You can do this with page builder. Go ahead and create a page and set it up using pagebuilder adding whatever rows, columns, widgets you like. Then when you create a new page just click the “pre-built” tab and open the “clone: pages” tab and click the page that you had previously built your layout. Does that make sense?

    You can do this with virtue premium. On the menus page when you click to show a menu item you should see a check box for “Enable Fullwidth Sub-Menu” and right below that you can set the columns you want. Then every item that is a sub item will fall into the large dropdown.

    Hi

    http://www.horseshoe-photography.co.uk

    I am trying to make the 3 boxes (that are all the same currently) have less space between them. I am using the column shortcode.Ideally i dont want them to have any padding at all. Is this an option you can do just for the columns as i will not want it to affect all the images when i add more to the website.

    Thank you for your help!

    1. Just using pagebuilder and adding 4 columns with the visual editor widget. Check out this tutorial: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/

    2. If you want your images to be all different ratios then you should make it the portfolio full option. make sure to scroll down to your portfolio full settings. Change the columns to 3 and make sure “Masonry Style” is on.

    You can use the columns shortcode or page builder to place the form in a column and your contact info in a column.

    Hey,
    1. Your using the custom carousel option in the theme options > home layout. That is designed to have a link and to have images that are cropped to the same size. So based on what your going for you don’t want to use that option to show your images.

    To give you the best option can you tell me if you want the carousel? Meaning on mobile it would only show 1 of those at a time. Is that how you want it?

    2. You are using the “portfolio carousel” That shows portfolio posts and you can change the columns to three in the theme options > home layout. Just scroll down to the portfolio carousel section.

    The portfolios are not designed to have the descriptions to the right of the images. to do something like that would almost just be easier to add your content right into pagebuilder rather then trying to use the portfolio post layout.

    Hello,
    How do I set the blog to display posts in two columns.

    Like it is here:

    Thanks!

    This is the first time I set it up on a website, and I’m not having the results I expected.
    I’m not sure if that is related to the number of pictures, length of description or else.
    Problem is that I see a gap of 2 pictures between the last and the first picture on the big screen
    and in the laptop it converts in two rows, which I also don’t want. I set it up to 6 columns, One item
    and speed of 9 seconds. What am I doing wrong?

    I want to eliminate the blank gap and also prevent it to create a second row.

    Also, I used the Theme Options / Home Layout / Custom Carousel. The remaining content comes from Page Content.

    Hey,

    Images by default are on top when you use two columns with a sidebar, has to do with how much space you have.

    You can Either switch to a 1 column in your theme options > home layout or turn the sidebar off if you want two columns with images on the left.

    So actually if you set your summary to portrait then they would be auto cropped to equal size. And if you had three columns they would automatically be set above the content rather then beside.

    But with how you have it you would have to edit the code in the templates/content-twogrid.php and change your size on line 15.

    Hi,

    I am wondering how to make the blog summary images equally sized so that the effect is an even grid and not masonry. I know how to set this for portfolio and shop but do not see the option for posts. Each image is set to landscape. Is this possible using theme settings or will the images need to be resized?

    I am calling the blog grid using this shortcode on a sidebar template page:

    [blog_grid items=”10″ columns=”2″ offset=”1″]

    development.carinarose.com/posts

    Update – to help narrow down the problem I added a second row with 3 columns to test if other widgets are working.
    1st section is ‘Call to Action’, which is showing.
    2nd section is ‘Embedded Video’, which is showing.
    3rd section is ‘Virtue:Image’, which is not showing.
    So the issue is images not showing in PageBuilder. Any help would be so appreciated – thanks.

    Hey,
    This is an issue with qtranslate and the pagebuilder plugin. You would need a better multilingual plugin if you wanted to use pagebuilder. You can also contact the support for qtranslate and see if they have any plans to support pagebuilder but based on there plugin structure I doubt they will be supporting.

    You can still make custom pages without page-builder by using the theme shortcodes. You can use the “pinnacle shortcodes” button and add columns or other things.

    No please 🙂 This is too dirty solution, because images are loaded in background and there is some absolute grid positioning. I used shortcode
    [portfolio_posts orderby="menu-order" columns="2" items="400" height="1" lightbox="false" showtypes="false" cat="architektura"]
    but there is no option to hide feature image. Height 0 doesn’t work well. I prefer to have a links as a real bullet list.

    Hi everybody!

    I have at Blog Post Default Gallery installed: landscape slider and image carousel. It used to show a nice slider above my blogpost, fullscreen with several images next to eachother. A slider with columns if you will. But now it shows only 1 tiny images in the middle. I have tried all the different sorts of slider but they all turn out the same. Just 1 tiny image.

    All the images are 1600x1000px so the should be big enough to fill up more space. Also I loved that it used to show several images at once and you would just ‘slide’ through them. Would love to know how to get that back!

    Because you are using the fullwidth stretched row style you should consider adding padding the to columns in page builders options But you can also add css like this:

    @media (max-width: 780px){
        .siteorigin-panels-stretch.kt-panel-row-full-stretch .panel-grid-cell {
        padding-left:20px !important;
         padding-right:20px !important;
        }
    }

    Hi Ben,

    I wrote above.
    The issue was exactly how explained above.
    If you visit any post now it has a wide black behind the media (slideshow, video or flipguide), but after updating to latest version of pinnacle and wp-4.2.2 this black background (div set by css “flipflip” rule) shrunk and all media were offset to the right as well as the sidebar had changed size.

    First i made smaller the various media of about 40px to make them appear inside a minimum background, then I by chance created a new sidebar and let it two columns. The result was the site went back to its earlier aspect like you see now

    That’s all

    Sorry, try using this instead: [blog_grid orderby=date items=12 columns=3]
    You can just add a title in the page content area (above where you’re pasting the shortcode) and set the style to h2.

    Ok, I got it in but it only shows two columns. Can I do 3 or 4 columns?
