1. In theme options > home slider you need to select none beside Choose a Home Image Slider.

2. You can either do this with a shortcode like this: [blog_posts items="12" orderby="date" columns="3"]
Or you can use the home blog settings in theme options > home layout but you are limited to 8 blog posts.

Sorry Ben,

I don’t know what happen. I just know that since latest update of pinnacle I had from time to time strange issues.
I created more than 50 posts and they were fine. I turned the pc on again after two hours and I got blank page on italian version.
I deactivated all plugins but the issue persisted.
The server log of host gave the lines with error in resizing homepage and other pages.
I changed the size of the videos and padding values but the black div behind the videos wasn’t wider only a minimum bigger than video itself.
I turned the widget two columns anything went on place.
So that’s what happen.
I suppose something isn’t completely compatible with wp 4.2.2 and maybe is the theme but I am not a developer.

If you say one column it’s ok, well it was ok also for me at beginning than it turned wrong.
Anyhow, the important is that is working for you. It could be my website or something not understandable for me. I will turn the widget to two columns again.

In your shoes, I will check the code between two and one column just to see if resizing features is correct set so you can be sure of it. I saw sidebar changing size when I wrote you.

3. Do you mean the line that is under that tab when it’s selected? Because that white line is whats hides the gray line that runs the whole distance of the tabs. If you remove the white then you will have a gray line the whole way and it will feel like your not on the tab.

4. What kind of “design elements” do you mean? You can change padding with css, you can also change how the columns look on mobile with css.

I wish this time you take note of my issue.

It works perfectly in full page without sidebar
If I add a sidebar it works until I don’t add the carousel widget and it’s weird but is this the problem! In fact, if I use the carousel widget to show product category and select to show 1 column the sidebar assumes another width creating the problem of resizing.
By chance I decided to select to show items in two columns and sidebar works perfectly.

I suggest you give a look at pinnacle sidebar code.

Hi Susan,
I think your best bet for doing this is to use pagebuilder. Set your font page display to a static page (Settings > Reading) and select the home page. Then with pagebuilder you can create columns including a long column on the right to give it a sidebar look. Does that make sense?

Look at it in Safari/Chrome and then check it in FF. You’ll see the icon on the left (setup as revolution sliders within page builder) are perfect in Safari/Chrome (2 columns 15/85%) but in FF it’s all squished together. Weirdly, if I add to the gutter (it is blank now, but let’s say I set it to 5px in edit row) it seems to make no noticeable different in Safari/Chrome, but in FF it actually makes it WORSE. Instead of adding space, it moves the content in the right column further left and it actually cuts off the left side of the content.

Here’s a similar page with gutter on the row set to 5px:

Also, I also don’t understand why the icon is shrunk in size in Safari/Chrome, but in FF it’s full size. (The rev slider is set to 133px square.)

Thoughts? Insights?

Hm…so you are saying I should put the div in a visual editor widget in one of the footer columns? I tried this along with the button css but nothing is showing up 🙁 Maybe it is not as simple as that?

Please can you explain in detail 🙂 “I would like all to be a little more stretched”… does all mean everything on the page or your footer? are you talking about the footer columns or the container for the footer columns? What screen size are you referring too?

1. In the page settings you should see an option for how many posts per page… are you not seeing this?

2. That is correct. It’s the intentional design. The filters are not meant to act as a menu or navigation they only filter what is one the page and because of that you get a cool animation effect. It would be totally different if they had to query your site and look for all post in that category. You wouldn’t get the animation.

3. Yes you can use this shortcode to just show the “types”. This assumes you have edited each type and added an image.

ok, I get what you mean, this has to do with how the text box works in categories. It’s not really like a normal edit box so every time you have a next line it adds a bit of code that breaks the format. You would have to add like this:

[columns][span4]A[/span4][span4]B[/span4][span4]C[/span4][/columns]

with no line breaks.

I really like the columns functionality and use them everywhere on my site.

But they seem to work in product category descriptions, which is a bit sad as some of my descriptions are very long and could use some structure.

Is there a trick I can do to make columns work in product descriptions?

Hi Ben,

Yes, I’ve done that. It’s only show one image at a time but I have it set for 3 columns. It’s also only showing some of the images the correct size while others are thumbnail size. Please go here http://q100.sg/ and go down to the bottom of the home page to see where I’m trying to add it.
