    Hello everyone!

    I have exported my woocommerce products (with all custom columns), so that I could edit variation styles per attribute in bulk, but unfortunately I don’t see any column in my CSV that would correspond to product variation style.

    Does it mean that I would have to set variation style for each product individually?

    I have 3 different attribues that I would like to display differently using Woo Extras Variation Swatches – one should be radio boxes, second taxonomy defined and last a dropdown list. I’ve set the default variation style to radio boxes so I don’t have to set up this one manually, but the other 2 attributes require to set the variation style individually for each product.

    Hey Matt,

    1. What is the columns shortcode you’re using? What happens when you add it?

    2. Are you using a caching plugin? That can sometimes stop the update prompts from showing. Make sure your cache is being cleared.

    3. Have you created a shop page? When adding a menu item from Appearance > Menus you should see an option to set the navigation label to whatever you want.

    Hope this is helpful!

    Thanks Hannah. I’ve done that and that has resolved the Youtube and Vimeo shortcodes. The columns one still doesn’t seem to be working.

    Normally when a new theme version is available it prompts me for automatic installation – any idea why this might not be happening?

    Finally, I have a separate request. I would like to be able to group menu items together under a heading that is not itself a page. So for example where the menu currently says “Features” https://zing-groups.com/ I would like to have a menu heading that says “Product” and underneath it have Features, Games and FAQs. But there is no “Products” page. I can’t seem to work out how to do this – could you please advise?

    Thanks

    Well I want it to be full width on smaller devices like mobile devices. Just on desktop I want to be able to control the alignment and max width on a case by case basis. Some pages I want the video to be center-aligned, other pages the video should be left-aligned. Some pages that have a sidebar, full width is fine. But for example on my homepage http://www.johngrahamtours.com there is no sidebar so the videos are unnaturally massive. I think putting a max width on these specific videos on the homepage at 600px and center-aligning them would look better.

    I’ve searched the internet, but the forums are suggesting adding code to the functions file, adding <div> separators with embed code, or adding css within an <iframe> format. I remember that I had this <iframe> formatting years ago, but then ditched it when Kadence added the Youtube shortcode. Now that I am mostly trying to post Playlists on my web pages, which is not supported with the Kadence shortcode, it seems I need to go back to another solution.

    If I put every video in a new row in Page Builder, and add columns to right and left, this seems like a lot of work given that I have videos on almost every page of the website. Are there any other options?

    Cheers, John

    Hey,
    Yes when adding a playlist like that if you want it to not be as wide you have to place in a smaller container, you can add columns to each side of your row for space.

    The page I am inserting is… https://www.ahyoudmd.com/office-info/ When show it it is okay. I also inserted the shortcode to insert the page on another page, [insert page=’office-info’ display=’content’] and it also did not display correctly but when I showed the page by it self it is okay.

    This Style code is in the middle, not sure why it is present. With this included it breaks the section into 2 columns. This is not present when the page /office-info/ is displayed by itself and not included with insert page shortcode.

    <style id="kt-blocks_c88428-58" type="text/css" class="wp-block-kadence-column top-banner">.kt-row-layout-inner > .kt-row-column-wrap > .kadence-column_c88428-58 > .kt-inside-inner-col {padding-top:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;padding-right:0px;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-left:0px;}</style>

    If I remove it while using the inspector in the web brower then the column goes away and the content fills to 100% of page width.

    Here is the full code with the <Style> section I mentioned above.

    Hi Ben,

    Looks like I’ve now changed to Ascend Premium Version: 1.9.3 and it’s still happening.

    It seems to be a similar problem with the Columns shortcode as well – it only inserts the start and end tags without any of the separate columns and “Enter text here”.

    I haven’t tried out the other shortcodes but there could be issues with them as well I guess.

    Thanks,
    Matt

    ok, Here is a better option:

    .header-menu-container ul.menu>li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1)>ul.sub-menu {
        display: grid;
        grid-gap: 0.8em;
        opacity: 0;
        visibility: hidden;
    }
    .header-menu-container ul.menu>li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1):hover>ul.sub-menu, .header-menu-container ul.menu>li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1).menu-item--toggled-on>ul.sub-menu, .header-menu-container ul.menu>li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1):not(.menu-item--has-toggle):focus>ul.sub-menu {
        opacity: 1;
        visibility: visible;
    }

    The next update will have this added.

    I need to change the header (logo and menu) number of columns, but I don’t know where can I change that in Pinnacle theme.
    Right now it is: col-md-4 and col-md-8 and I need it to be col-md-3 and col-md-9.
    I could change the padding or margin of the menu items, but I prefer not to do that and have more space in the menu by increasing the size of the columns in the header. Can you please tell me where can I have access to that?
    This is basically what I need, but I don’t know where to have access to the backend or if there is a tool within the dashboard to change that without going to the backend:
    <div class=”row”>
    <div class=”col-md-3 col-sm-8 col-ss-10 clearfix kad-header-left”></div>
    <div class=”col-md-9 col-sm-4 col-ss-2 kad-header-right”> </div>
    </div>

    Thank you in advaced for your assistance.
    Gustavo.

    Thanks,

    Can you test this for me, add this into the custom css in the customizer.

    .header-menu-container ul.menu > li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1) > ul.sub-menu {
        margin-left: -999em;
        display: grid;
    }
    .header-menu-container ul.menu > li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1):hover > ul.sub-menu, .header-menu-container ul.menu > li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled.menu-item--toggled-on:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1) > ul.sub-menu, .header-menu-container ul.menu > li.kadence-menu-mega-enabled:not(.kadence-menu-mega-columns-1):not(.menu-item--has-toggle):focus > ul.sub-menu {
        margin-left: 0;
    }

    Let me know,

    Ben

    Thanks for the suggestion Ben, I’ll give it a shot. Just wondering, for making Row Layout a little simpler, is there anyway to stop it adding a Column Gutter before columns that are empty (have no blocks added)?

    Please see the image.

    The left and right columns should rise so their tops equal the figure in the center column.
    Also, the left and right columns should have some padding on their border with the row.

    I have not found a way to solve these problems.

    Hi,

    This is just a generalised low-priority question….

    I have completed the layout of a categorised logo display page which uses a 3 column Row Layout block for each row and and advanced heading for each Logo Category title. It took a lot of tweaking of individual column bottom-margins for mobile layout and some tweaking of Row Layout padding to ensure all the gaps between logos and headers were symmetrical, particularly for mobile. I couldn’t just set same gutter for desktop and different gutter for mobile which would have been gloriously simple as the end gutter (where empty columns were hidden on mobile) cause spacing variations. Is there a way to instruct it to hide the gutter on mobile if the column is being hidden also? << this would have made it much easier to layout.

    The other issue I encountered is that I would have liked to have had each logo/brand-text column in it’s own single column row layout but I found it near impossible to get all the symmetrical spacing across devices as i have it now. I think the overheads of all the additional settings, if it was even possible would have negated the small advantage in having a bit more control of exactly where the logo and the text floated.

    For a website builder, this level of tweaking is fine but trying to explain to a customer how to add more logos with all the exceptions to the layout settings would be near impossible. So I was hoping you would be so kind as to take a quick peak and see if you feel there was some easy to achieve the same result as I have now?

    Many thanks

    Howdy,

    I have searched high and low but could not find an answer so thought I would try here 🙂

    There is an option (three dots) in a column to Copy. Great! It even gives a nice popup to say copied to clipboard. But how do you paste it? There is no Paste option anywhere nor does CTRL/CMD + V work.

    Cheers!

    I don’t mind to post a link, but a link of what?

    All pages are working fine, I mean if I want to insert a youtube video with modestbranding I add the missing modestbranding=”true” and it works as I want.
    but modestbranding=”true” is not inserted by auto as before.

    If there is a need for two, three, or 4 columns I add manually the span6, span4, or span3 which also aren’t inserted automatically.

    The problem is on the Admin panel in the post editor, a link to the admin panel is not possible.

    I checked all virtue shortcodes and the rest seems to be ok. only columns and youtube seem to have a glitch.

    It’s not so serious as long as there is a workaround, but it doesn’t look right for the excelence of the theme.

    Hi

    Version 4.9.29

    And, yes, it was chrome’s cache causing this.

    It’s not the first time this browser makes me feel silly.

    Thanks very much anyway

    Upss

    COLUMNS SHORTCODE STILL DON’T WORK

    It gives me this: [columns] [/columns]
    So, problem still not resolved.

    Hi

    Just updated to latest version, but I had the same problem before.

    When trying to insert a youtube video, in the post there is nothing else inserted but this: [kad_youtube ]
    When trying to insert blog posts, I choose a category but what I get is: [blog_posts orderby=”undefined” cat=”undefined”]

    And nothing is inserted.

    If I set the codes manually they work.

    Must be a problem with other shortcodes too, like columns, etc…

    I believe this started with the latest WordPress version.

    Thanks
