    Hey,

    I added image of the contact form settings, it seems like when I fill out the form to test it out, I am not getting them to my email.

    my website:

    What can i do to fix it?

    #280741

    Hi Asmus,

    You can submit an official request here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/

    This way others can comment/vote on it. The more votes that a feature has gotten the higher the chances it has to be added.

    Please note that the development team may consider adding the feature requests once it has enough votes, and there is no ETA on when it’ll be available.

    Don’t hesitate to contact us again and open a new ticket if ever you need help.

    Regards,
    Bonn

    Reference:

    I have two problems with my (Desktop view) Header Search element.

    The Header’s Top Row includes from left to right the LOGO, the Secondary Menu (phone, brochure, contact us), and the Search element.

    Problem #1. I want the Search element to appear similar to the Secondary Menu items.

    Problem #2. There is an unwanted vertical space between the Secondary Menu and the Search link.

    The Top Row menu should be one long horizontal row with no gaps and the spyglass the same size as the MegaMenu icons present in the Secondary Menu.

    Thank you very much!

    Hey Ben,
    Hope you had a great Summer. This issue with translating Kadence Elements is still open. I’ve this week been in contact with WPML and I received this reply:

    “Apparently, this is a compatibility conflict between Kadence, ACF, and WPML.

    Please, ask the Kadence theme author to join our Go Global Program https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ in order to make the theme fully compatible with WPML.”

    “Yes, it would be great so that our compatibility team can work with the theme author and resolve this issue.”

    I’ve also an open support ticket by you, it was sent yesterday, but nobody has replied yet.

    Let’s hope that we finally can solve this problem.

    It works well when I scroll down in “gallery page” and “about page” but it get overlayed in Contact page when I scroll down.
    I made contact page with kadence blocks and I have tried to change Z index in the structure menu but it doesnt work. I’ve been trying to resolve it with css but with no exit.
    Sorry if it sounds silly, thanks for all! :3

    I have finally adopted trying to use Blocks and am working with Kadence theme/Elizabeth theme from Restored316

    I am struggling with icon display and blocks that are broken.
    Any instance of icons, in icon blocks or icons lists render the message: “This block contains unexpected or invalid content” along with the button to “attempt block recovery”
    Pages previousl created with Elementor that use icon blocks are now receiving the same message on the back end
    However elementor icons will display on the public side while any icons used in kadence will temporarily show on the back end, they never rending on the public side and after the pages is saved the error blocks appear. I can resolve them but icons still do not render and when I return to the page the error is there again

    I am using default blocks,
    no special html.
    this is NOT multisite, I am the only user/owner on the website and certainly have admin rights
    I have gone through the process of resetting permalinks
    I have checked for plugin conflicts
    I have also been in contact with both hosting (siteground) and security monitoring (sucuri) in an attempt to see if anything there is causing a problem and in all instances and with extensive testing they indicate there is nothign on either site that is preventing these from displaying.

    I am suddenly also experiencing the same issue with previously placed images – the images render but now I get those nasty blocks

    the images do display on the public side but now all these error messages are on the back end.
    I have now idea what is causing this – and I would love to get it resolved. It has made doing any work on the site impossible.

    See attached images

    Hi,

    One of my sites has problems with the form.

    Some email types don’t work and also don’t come in my spam. They just don’t deliver.
    For example: if someone tries to fill in a form with a Gmail address, it doesn’t get delivered.

    It realy is a problem on the form or site, because when someone uses Gmail on their mail app it does get delivered.

    Any idea what might be the problem?

    Hi, Edward!

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

    You can use the {field_#} placeholder for the From Name setting of the form. However, this will not be used unless you also override the From Email option. On the other hand, please note that the From Email option will not accept the {field_#} placeholders as the from email.

    Since you’ve already specified the From Email, you can just add the {field_#} placeholder for the “From Name” option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uWrOw8.
    *Note: the number(#) is determined by how many fields you have added to your contact form. In this example, Name is the first field in the form.

    Here’s a link for more information about the Kadence Form Block: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/documentation/block-tutorials/form-block/.

    I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Hi Edward,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and apologies for the delayed reply.

    Based on the URL of the page that you sent, you can add this custom CSS code to position the Submit button to the center.

    .kb-form .kadence-blocks-form-field.kb-submit-field {

    margin-left: 45%;

    }

    You can add the above CSS code by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Please note that you can adjust the value of margin-left based on your preference. But on my end, the 45% is already enough to align the button at the center.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Dane

    How can I center the Submit button on a Kadence Form block?

    #279873

    Today I have received two warnings in my error log for php warning and when i contacted kinsta they told me the warnings are from kadence blocks

    #279798

    I created a Row > Section > added Icon block, set to the largest I could which seems to be 250px, I would like this larger in the container as a background tint.
    CSS is applied is the following applied on the Icon block
    .fl-icon-fullwidth {position:absolute; width:100%; height:100%; object-fit:cover;}
    it appears to only enlarge to 250px and not expand it larger than that to fill the container.
    How can we make this larger, I prefer to use Icons as I have states added in IcoMoon library and I am trying to display a state icon as a background full width and height tint behind text which there is h3, p text blocks to go over it.

    Are there any recent fixes to this problem? Like @loganfinlay I am having this problem, summer 2022, and the fix described above does not seem to be applicable any more. I have done the following:
    – installed EasySMTP, and verified that it is able to send mail correctly
    – having found a mention that Kadence utilizes WooCommerce email subsystem, verified that I can send out Woocommerce emails correctly

    but the Kadence Contact form does not work. Any further configuration possible in Kadence?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    I added live chat to my website called Tidio. Chat has a widget that is added through Tidio plugin. I got a bug with widget look, a strange white background appeared that is not supposed to exist. I contacted their support, and they confirmed the bug. Their developers checked the issue, and I got this answer from them.

    “Hi!

    Thank you for reaching out to Tidio Support.
    My name is Kamil and I’ll gladly help you with your inquiry 🙂

    I understand that there’s an issue with how the widget is rendered on your site – and after short troubleshooting, I found the culprit.
    There’s a code that changes the colour scheme, which changes how the Tidio widget is rendered.

    That causes the issue with the light theme on your page.

    (devs image attached)

    The second code that casues issue with dark theme is the one I’m showing below

    (devs image attached)

    If you’d add the :not(#tidio-chat-iframe) to both of the codes – so Tidio won’t be affected by the code, the problem should be gone.

    Please let me know how it goes!”

    My problem is that I do not know how to do this, I am not a coder. Can you help me please?

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Are you also getting an error 500? If so, 500 errors (500, 502, 503, etc…) are typically server errors: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/getting-500-error/.

    The issue might also be caused by server limitations, like the memory limit or the max post size being too small.

    If this happens and you are unaware of any such settings, or you are not familiar with handling the security settings of your website; then, it is best if you contact the company that provides your web hosting.

    You can also confirm your PHP settings with them. For future reference, you can see this article: https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/general/recommended-php-configuration-limits/.

    Also, you may check this article about the reason of getting error 500 and possible solutions: https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/http-500-internal-server-error

    Hope this helps!

    Should you need further assistance, please let us know, and we’re always here to help!

    Cheers,
    Dane

    You can add it to the “Excluded Javascript Files”.

    Have you tried contacting WP Rocket support? I think they can help you better on this issue.

    #274178

    hey,

    I’m using the theme’s template contact page on my website,
    but I am not receiving the messages sent to my email, how to proceed?

    #274074

    Hey, thanks for contacting us.

    This is expected behavior as a carousel gallery isn’t really designed to have that many images in it. Most site visitors will not take the time to look through all of the images.

    However, you can add this CSS to push the dots down below the images:

    @media (max-width: 840px) {
    ul.slick-dots {
        position: relative !important;
    }
    }

    Copy and paste the CSS to Customize> Additional CSS, and let us know if that works for you.
