    Have you tried contacting your host about the FTP error? Were you able to get your theme and plugins up to date?

    I created a website using the Ascend theme. Website is acumanity.com.

    There is a Contact Us section near the bottom of the home page.

    I created the form last week leveraging a Kadence Form integrated with Mailchimp. I think I copied it from one of the Kadence demo forms and added a field or two.

    When I created and modified it, it worked when I tested it out. I got error messages when required fields were not filled out. And when I entered all the information correctly and clicked the “Contact Us” button, I would get: the success message below the button with “Thanks for contacting us! We will get back to you shortly.”, an e-mail sent with the information entered, and a Mailchimp entry in their database. I have three entries in Mailchimp for the three times I tested it out successfully.

    This morning, I tested it again, and after clicking the “Contact Us”, it did not work. I do not get any success message, no email sent, and no entry in Mailchimp.

    I don’t remember changing anything to that form.

    Any help to debug is greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    I’m having trouble to use your theme on my website because when I try to activate the API key I receive this message:
    “Connection failed to the License Key API server. Make sure your host servers php version has the curl module installed and enabled.”

    Unfortunately I dont know how to program or correct codes so I talked to the host but they said to me to contact the developer…
    Could you help me see what’s going on? I have set php at version 7.3 and the site is: http://www.elenicedias.com.br

    Thank you,
    Aline

    Hey.
    I use Virtue – Premium

    I have installed a plugin called Frontier Post.
    I need to change the color of a save button in this plugin, I contacted the developer of that plugin to get a CSS code, but we couldn’t make the CSS code work, the developer asked me to contact you.
    The CSS code works fine with the developer.

    The developer says that the CSS code should be placed in theme custom CSS
    I have placed the CSS code in custom CSS in the theme, but it does not work.
    Can you help me here.

    The code is as follows.

    #user_post_save {
    color: yellow !important;
    background-color: darkgreen !important;
    }

    Best regards
    Kim

    Hi

    I have a quick signup Ninja form in a Popup and in the Footer of my site (Form 1)

    There’s another form on the contact page (Form 2)

    I have a global style for the “required” fields and content labels

    .nf-form-fields-required {
    display: none;
    }
    .nf-form-content label {
    font-size: 20px
    line-height: 26px !important;
    font-weight: 400 !important;
    }

    This is working good on all forms.

    The submit button styling is currently targeting specific fields in specific instances of the form:

    input#nf-field-19_2 {
    background: #ebe811 !important;
    color: #000000 !important;
    }
    input#nf-field-19_2:hover {
    background: #a0ba0d !important;
    color: #000000 !important;
    }

    input#nf-field-19 {
    background: #000000 !important;
    color: #ffffff !important;
    }
    input#nf-field-19:hover {
    background: #ffffff !important;
    color: #000000 !important;
    }

    input#nf-field-25_1 {
    background: #ebe811;
    color: #000000;
    }
    input#nf-field-25_1:hover {
    background: #a0ba0d;
    color: #000000;
    }

    How do I globally apply the submit button colours for all forms in all instances across the site?

    I’d like to combine / simplify all styling CSS for all forms.
    Is this possible?

    I’m now seeing a fatal out of memory error when I try to view your page. Are you seeing that as well? I suggest contacting your host and asking them to increase your PHP memory limit. Let me know when they’ve done this!

    Hey Hannah,

    Thanks for the feedback. No, the Topbar wasn’t turned on. I’ve turned it on now but I still can’t understand how it is working on the 1 page but not the others

    O goodness, when I turn the top bar on the turquoise is also on my main home page and the others so I had to change setting to no.

    check my destinations page the heading shows the background color and menu. https://www.adventuretravelcoach.com/destinations

    Screenshot-2020-04-17-at-19-18-09. see printscreen where it shows the turquoise header – its not showing on about me and contact me (see image)

    Screenshot-2020-04-17-at-19-20-44

    there were 3 posts where it also wasn’t showing but I’ve add images so it will look better (meantime)
    thanks Hannah.

    Hey Hannah,

    I notice now that the following setting is not working on the following pages?

    1. The top bar background color can be set from Theme Options > Advanced Styling. that worked on 2 specific posts is not working on three other pages:
    1x My about page:
    contact page:
    Start a Blog Page:

    I’ve done exactly the same. I went on that specific post/page, to the topbar > theme options > then advance styling and the turquoise color is set but the top bar is still white?
    Is it correct I go to the theme options on that specific page or post to change the top bar of that specific page? Don’t know why it is not working on some of them or what I did wrong?

    2. And the Header background style: what is the difference between simple and full?

    Apologies for inconvenience

    A sidebar is different from blocks or columns. Think of a blog post, for example. People do not want to scroll through typical sidebar content (recent pots, ads, contact info, etc) before getting to the actual post content. I would be happy to get your menu styled as you’re wanting if you want to try the route I suggested previously.

    I haven’t heard from any others who experienced that with the update. You may want to contact your host and see if they can do backup for you so you can regain your layouts. Then you may try deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting with the latest WP update.

    Hey,

    I suggest you check your PHP error logs (contact your hosting provider) you are likly timing out and you need to increase the max post size and max memory setting in your php.

    Hi
    I have had these two problems for quite some time but have only now had time to do testing to ascertain whether it is a plug in conflict or a theme conflict.
    According to the testing, it is a theme conflict, so I am contacting you to get some help on this.

    Both problems are with a plugin called Business Directory (by D Rodenbaugh). I have already spoken to them and they have referred me to my theme developer.

    Problem 1: Hyperlinks not showing
    For Business Directory posts (listings), hyperlinks set in the text of the post are not highlighted with the colours that I have set in the theme. The links work, but you don’t know they are there as they don’t pick up the theme’s formatting.

    Problem 2: Opening windows
    For some links (internal), I would like the hyperlink to open in the current tab/window and for others (external) I would like the hyperlink to open in a new tab/window.
    No matter how the link is set up, the links (internal and external) always open in the current window. If I install the plugin Open External Links in a New Window, I get a new window opening, but the current window also moves to the external link – so I end up with two windows/tabs with the external website showing.

    If I change my theme to 2020, the functionality (with or without the Open External Links in a New Window plugin) works perfectly – the same for Problem 1.

    Let me know if you need more information.

    Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Best wishes
    Susie
