    Would something in the stylesheet be able to cause this or is it a javascript problem?

    Recently this was added to the child css:

    @media
    (min-width: 480px) and (max-width: 768px) {
    .p-item {width:50%;}
    }

    I checked different tablets again earlier today. The problem occurs on Safari for the iPad Air/Air2. On the Galaxy Tab S2, Note Pro and Tab A there was no issue in Chrome, only the generic ‘Internet’ browser. On an Acer Le Pan Mini the issue occurred in Chrome.

    The iPads were the most recent models, an iPad Air 2 and also the iPad mini. I did not take note of the android device, a variant of the problem occurred on all devices so I figured it was a general problem.

    edit: On the iPads it was using Safari, everything else was Chrome if I am not mistaken

    Hi,

    I was testing my site on various tablets today and noticed an issue when flipping from landscape to portrait, and vice versa. The thumbnails (in both portfolio and blog) do not properly realign themselves.

    When switching to landscape mode on an iPad, all thumbnails will overlap in the top left corner, though after scrolling they seem to move to their proper location.

    Switching back to portrait mode has the thumbnails align in 2 columns as expected but there is an overlap and spacing issue within the margin of the two columns.

    On android devices it seems like the thumbnail dimensions are not recalculated when switching between landscape and portrait. For example when switching from portrait to landscape, the thumbnails will remain the same size and oddly space themselves out two per column, though it is a three column grid.

    Thank you! I’m also testing on all devices and am having issues with images not showing up at all. On a newer iPad, for example. Any ideas?

    Hello Ben and Hannah,

    I just completed my Kadence/Virtue site: pjlyons.com
    Everything looks pretty good (if I do say so myself 😉 ) except on my phone and iPad, the fourth image on the 3-D page is turned 90 degrees clockwise. It’s fine on my laptop. How do I fix this?

    #59979

    Ok, I have just added your script in Widgets > Footer Column 1 > visual Editor widget (Pagebuilder plugin). Then I have tried to custom the drop-down select, without success.
    To display the product filters on this page (here : http://tjc.apps-1and1.net/shop), you need to active “Toggle device mode” with the inspect chrome tool (ipad or iphone).
    If you need login, I can send you one.

    Thank very much again and again

    Hi Guys,

    I was seeing this error message on iPhone 6 and iPad.

    I changed a few things and it now seems to be working.
    To get it to work I changed the Optional settings to:

    Product Category Base: /shop
    Product tag base: product-tag

    and product permalink settings from:
    Custom Base: /Product

    I left the Common Settings option the same: Post Name

    Originally I had nothing in the optional settings and the product permalink settings set to default.

    Do you think this will impact incoming links?

    Thanks again for all your help.

    Hello there..
    I recently upgraded to premium virtue theme and love it! But, I noticed that when I was using the free theme my secondary menu would appear the same on an iPad as in a regular laptop or computer.

    Is it possible just turn off the video feature (and just have a background image set) for the ipad display? How do I do it? Thank you!

    #58348

    You can’t autoplay videos on mobile browsers. The browsers don’t allow it. You can set layers to show or hide based on the screen size. You can set a background image to your slider that looks like the first frame then add your video as a layer. Then have that layer hide when your screen size is into ipad range.

    Hi there,
    I have a question about the revolution slider for ipad.
    I have a video playing for the desktop site and a picture for mobile. But in the ipad, nothing shows and there is a blank space where the slider is supposed to go. what can I do to just have a picture display? I tried to insert a picture as well to show on ipad and everything ended up being squished up on the ipad and when the website is loading on desktop, the picture was showing before the video started to play, so I got rid of it. I also tried enabling the video for the ipad and the site just kept crashing without anything displaying… please help!! Thank you.

    Hannah,
    Thanks for the info to make the menu of my Virtue Premium website http://www.vcc-wellswark.org.nz display properly on iPad.
    That was a simple fix but it raised another issue: the columns on my Calendar page now display vertically one after another instead of alongside each other.
    I am using Advanced WP Columns plugin and the ‘responsive layout’ box IS ticked. Is there some CSS to correct this or do you recommend using a different plugin for columns?
    Regards,
    Chris

    Hey Dennis,
    I just tested your site from an Iphone6 and an Ipad and the menu worked fine on both. Try clearing your cache. Let me know if the problem is still there after.

    My website http://www.vcc-wellswark.org.nz does not display properly on iPad, though it does on p.c.
    On iPad the home page opens but without the menu at the top so one cannot open any of the other pages.
    I am sure there must be a simple fix for this but I am a newbie so would appreciate some guidance.

    Another observation, on an iPad, connected to fibre optic broadband I always get the ‘please choose product options…’ On each of the http://abacaorganic.eu/product-category/mattresses/latex-matteresses/ products, even waiting for the prices to load. extra confused now.

    I think my best bet would be to roll back to Woo 2.3.13 – would you be able to provide the last version of Virtue Premium that worked with Woo 2.3.13? If so I would be very greatfull.

    Kind regards,
    Darren.

    #55979

    Hi Ben, I gave that a try but it doesn’t appear to have made a difference, the issue is only now on iPad in wide mode where the menu insists on being at the top of the page
