    Exactly yeah, currently it disappears if it’s so much as a smaller window. I get that I want that for iphones etc but for a portrait ipad the full desktop style menu shouldn’t be out the question. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the above 😊

    I’m using the Modal short code with newsletter subscription and there’s something strange happening.
    My client who uses safari browser says modal content appears behind website content (see screen print). None of the buttons (close/subscribe) are clickable and it’s impossible to scroll so when it’s opened it kind of breaks the site until they refresh the page.
    I can’t replicate this issue on ipad, iphone or firefox browser but the issue is clearly there.

    Any speedy ideas would be appreciated as today is the big launch.

    Thank you
    Tom

    Thanks Ben.
    I take your point about full height too.

    Can I ask something else relating to the mobile slider please… The first slide background image never appears on my iphone4. It works on iphone 5s and ipad mini but not iphone4. I’ve tested it on two mobiles and neither show the first slide. I’m not sure why this is…?

    Thank you so much.
    Tom

    Hello,

    Increasing the header height helps for normal pages, but some image lightboxes still get partially trapped behind the sticky topbar.

    So for now I have deactivated the sticky topbar.

    On desktop screens, navigating without sticky topbar is not really a problem, since on desktops the theme always shows a floating arrow up button in the bottom right corner to return to the top of the page.

    However, on mobile screens (iPhone, iPad) this floating button to return to the top of the page is missing.

    Hi Gert,
    Try increasing your header height from Theme Options > Site Header. Does that help?
    You can add this css to center your logo on ipads:

    @media (max-width: 992px) {
    .kad-header-left.kad-header-logo {
        width: 100%;
    }
    }

    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hello,

    I added the following custom css in my pinnacle theme to make the topbar sticky.

    div#topbar { position:fixed; width:100%; z-index:10000; }

    However, now the topbar is covering my logo (see )

    How can I solve this ?

    I also have the following problem: on an iPad the logo is not centered ?

    Thanks.

    Hello
    I have the virtual premium theme set up on my website. I know it’s supposed to be mobile ready but it’s not working properly. When viewing my website on the iphone or iPad the content moves plus there is spacing on the sides.
    Can you please tell me how to fix this issue.

    Ow and there is another issue, when i look on my ipad then i go to, in my case to the Leaf Shave then i see that the “+” button is under and the “-” is above, this is not a natural way as people look to that kind of things so maybe we can change that to.On the computer it is normal.

    Regards Richard

    Hey,
    In your pagebuilder layout widget set the row to not collapse. Right now you have it set to collapse the columns on Ipad.

    Then since you will need more room on the right side of your topbar add this css:

    @media (min-width: 768px){
        .kad-topbar-right {width:70%;}
        .kad-topbar-left {width:30%;}
    }

    Hi,

    I managed to make the topbar and the menu sticky. The challenge is that the top bar is not response on an Ipad (portrait mode). The topbar flows onto 2 lines and the 3 widgets I use are not properly positioned while the menu looks good.
    What can I do to fix that? The website is available here

    Thank you

    Thanks Ben,

    That is for the most part what I am looking for. The owner of the shop was showing me how it would much on her iPad but that seems to be fixed with this. I’m using the Multi-Screen test on http://whatismyscreenresolution.net/multi-screen-test and it still shows some oddities. I’m curious why it doesn’t collapse down to a column, or two, for some. I’ll have to figure out what the math is for the @media bit because I know someone will say to her that it “looks” weird on their old iPhone.

    Cheers,

    Van

    I’m having an issue where the items smash together on some devices, manly iOS devices but some lower screen sized monitors as well.

    On my personal android device or if I shrink Chrome on my laptop it collapses down to a nice 4, 3, or 2 column layout (from a 5 column) but on an iPad for example it doesn’t. It mashes them together to make them fit.

    Any thoughts?

    No problem Hannah – I’ve been distlling the problem anyway…

    S.O. gives me a chance to have 2 rows of 3 panels (on a large screen) which lurches down to a single column of 6 panels.

    What I need is a div that contains six exact-width/height panels. On a laptop this would display as 2 rows of 3 panels, as now. As the screen narrows (old iPad on portrait?) then the screen displays as 3 rows of 2 panels. By the time you get to an ancient Samsung, the screen is displaying a single column of 6 panels.

    To achieve this, I could conceivably set a left (probably both) float, but S.O. uses Flex. Presumably, this would also mean using a load of media queries.

    Have I just answered my own question? Is S.O. missing a trick?

    Hey,
    The tablet you are using is considered a mobile device by the algorithms that check by browsers for which device is being used. I, unfortunately, can’t change that. I can tell you that it’s the only tablet I’ve come across that is treated that way and all others like the popular ipads etc will be showing the desktop slider.

    If you want to use the method I suggested here where the sliders are added via a shortcode you have to create those sliders through a plugin like the Kadence slider pro plugin. So once you have created the two sliders you want to add in whatever slider plugin you want to work with let me know and I can set up the option to change sliders solely based on screen size.

    Hi Ben,
    Thank you! I set the breaking points to 1080 and 1079 for now. At least this looks good on my iPad. I will test ou other options, main thing is I’m able to affect the viewport settings!

    I also need help fixing how my site loads on mobile. The page is spilling over on the sides on pages. Looks fine on my iPad but not on my iphone.

    Hello, I am having a slight issue with one of my sites running the virtue theme.
    The responsive menu disappears on tablets (and when reducing the screen size on a computer).
    It seems there is a screen size where the responsive menu disappears, yet the mobile menu does not show, and it happens to be on ipads/tablets.

    I will share a link privately.

    Many thanks
    Darren
