Topic: Logo
Hello,
My site logo is just text, not an image. For the life of me I can’t figure out where it is or how to edit it.
I want to experiment with font, color, opacity.
Also, the logo disappears at phone size. It also increases it’s font for Ipad size. How to control all of these parameters?
John

Hannah,
Thank you for this css. Unfortunately I can’t make it work. I tried putting it alongside Ben’s recently sent css (attached below), and the problems persisted. Specifically, “contact” jumps to a second line, and also now the topnav background changes when I reduce the size of the screen to fit an Ipad or Iphone.
Then I removed Ben’s css, leaving just your new css, but that didn’t seem to change it. Maybe there is css conflicting, I don’t know.

In forum: Ascend ThemeThanks, that solved the problem with uneven columns but the text in two columns still do not align as I want them to. Please see image below. My resolution on the PC-screen is 1920×1080.

(When I test the page on an old Ipad Mini on an upright screen the columns looks strange, but I guess there aren’t so many of those devices still around.)

In forum: Membership ForumsJanuary 29, 2019 at 11:36 am #2148341. Can you tell me what version of Ipad and what version of IOS?
2. In your settings > page builder settings you can define when columns collapse. by default it’s 780px. If you want something like a large Ipad pro to take on the mobile style you would need to bump that up to 1030px

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeJanuary 21, 2019 at 11:20 am #213946So you are using an Ipad air 2 and from that, you have updated the IOS to 12.1.1 but when I test on that with an Air versions 1 using ISO 12 it works just fine. So are you using any other app like a ad killer on that Ipad.
BenIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
on an older ipad mini, and on an older ipad 2 it is working 100%. It just took me a while to get a hold of the ipad air 2 to test it again. The tabs don’t change active color, the rest works OK.
Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 12_1_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/12.0 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
Hope that helps, let me know if you want me to test if you get it fixed.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
I like these new tabs, but someone pointed out that in their old ipad safari it doesn’t work right. You can’t change between tabs, it just sends you to the bottom of the screen. None of the 3 options work.
While I understand that keeping backwards compatibility is probably impossible, I wanted to ask if there is some kind of workaround so users with those older browsers can be shown something readable.
the page I am working on is here *Login to see link
Thanks.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
I have some problems with my little collection of Logos. I created them some time ago and they are all 150×150 png files.
My Problem is that in some cases they are displayed correctly and sometimes they get resized and don’t fit into the frame.
I use the Pinnacle GalleryWhat I found out is that on my iMac27 (Non Retina) everything looks fine, but on my MacbookPro15 (Retina) the images are displayed wrong.
I tried it out with several different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), but it is always the same.
On iPhone, iPad it’s although the same problem.
So my thought was that it has to do something withe the higher resolution displays.I’m not servicing my website very often, but I only remember that I had the problem from time to time and when I was doing a WordPress update it fixed it most of the time.
Here is a link to the website
*Login to see linkIs there any solution that lasts? 🙂
Kind regards

I am trying to locate a quick but noticeable ‘jump’ appearing on ipad and iphone with the mobile menu. At first I thought it was only on the home page that has a Revolution Slider, and I blamed it on the slider loading. (On that slider I removed the transition and delay from the first slide) – but it seems to be happening on the inner pages as well – not when I visit them via the menus so much, but on inner page refreshing.I think what’s happening is the hamburger loads in one spot, higher on the page, then a text widget displays under the logo and moves the ‘hamburger’ down, where it sits on top of the slider within the page content. So it might be an issue of the text widget displaying after the mobile menu does…?
IF that’s the cause of the hamburger’s motion, (and altho I’ve looked at it a zillion times it may not be) is there a way to either locate the hamburger at the top left of the whole screen, so it doesn’t have to make space for anything, OR not display the hamburger at all until the other elements on the page have loaded. Once all is loaded, the hamburger appears and looks fine.
I’d like to send a link but please advise on how to do this privately –
Thank you,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Recaptcha Plugin Shuts down my website
Thanks Ben. I actually updated my PHP to 7, and discovered another plugin was not compatible, so I replaced it with something else. The site is up and running, and the recaptcha is functioning as it should. However, my iPad and iPhone is not loading the website (my MacBook / Safari is loading it), so I am trying to figure that out. The response is: “Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server”. Any ideas? Thanks, John
