I created a sidebar using the Kadence Elements hook and the sidebar shows up on the blog menu only (*Login to see link On this sidebar, I have an image of a product I sell (The Ultimate Survival Guide for Widows) with a link to the product page. When I click the linked image from the sidebar on my desktop/laptop it works fine. The problem is the link doesn’t work on my mobile device. If I’m looking at the blog menu from my phone, the sidebar appears and I see my product image, but I can’t click it. All the other links on my sidebar (affiliate products, etc) work fine. But not the product image link.
Any ideas?
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Move tags to top of post, add prefix “Tags: “
Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out regarding the placement of yoru post’s tags! Apologies for the delay, hope you’re having a great day.
One option to move your single post tags to the top is to use Kadence Hooked Elements.
The first step in using Hooked Elements will be turning off the default tags in your single posts by going to Customize> Blog Posts> Single Post Layout, and setting “Show Post Tags?” OFF:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuxQLGrOnce that is OFF, then make sure you have Hooked Elements enabled in your Kadence Theme settings, as shown on this page: https://kadence-theme.com/knowledge-base/pro-addon/how-to-use-element-hooks/
Create a new Element, and select the “Post Tags” block:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuZ75QzSet the element and display settings to determine where the tags will appear:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8u9Jn5kYour tags should now show on the top of your posts instead of the bottom. If you need any additional assistance styling the tags, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we can assist you with the required CSS.
Best regards,

I’d like to request that you add to the modal block the ability to specify a fixed width of the link like you can with an advanced button. In a website I’m working on I have a series of advanced buttons and modal blocks lined up in a grid at the top of my page. They all look like buttons, but some of them are modal blocks. It sure would make it way easier to style if I could specify a fixed with of the modal link.
In forum: Kadence ThemeTopic: Change post navigation
Hey Mountain Rockers;-)
We are working on a new client website and there are definately some challenges for us. One thing is to change the post navigation as seen at the bottom of the post when activated – see pic 1. There you can also see what we want to achieve. Right and left arrows with links (to a page and a pre filtered portfolio) in the middle. We already did a template override with single-entry.php and tested/changed some things – more try and error;-) – see pic 2.
But while we are playing around we thought of the best way of achieving this. Is it with an override from one or two templates or is it possible with an hooked Element. At this point we are not really getting closer so it would be much appreciated if you can give us a hint. Thanks in advance

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Row background color not working
July 26, 2021 at 7:52 am #267040Hi, I am working with the Kadence theme and facing issues with the active menu background color. When I click on the Home button it is working perfectly as desired but as soon as I click on CORPORATE OVERVIEW under the parent menu Company the active background color is not working. I want the parent menu “Company” to be active color too so that users can know which page they are currently on.
Here in this case the sub-menu-background color is active but is not able to see active background color for the “Company” menu. Please help.
In forum: Kadence ThemeJuly 26, 2021 at 6:14 am #267038Never mind, followed the link provided by Hannah above, and I think I got it working. Very well conceived way to target individual pages.
In forum: Kadence ThemeJuly 26, 2021 at 5:32 am #267037Hi Ben. Could you provide a bit more guidance on how to do this on a page-by-page basis?
I have Kadence Pro, and I see the Pro Add-on “Header/Footer Scripts”, and how this allows the addition of scripts in the Customizer. But I assume this applies the code to every page. To minimise the impact of this code on the speed of the website, I’d like to only run it on the relevant one or two pages.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Image gallery
Hello Yogi,
Any of our themes should work with a gallery you want. However, the functionalities you’ve specified are not built-in with our theme. You may use a third-party plugin to achieve that kind of filtering in a gallery.
We do have the Kadence Galleries plugin but the filter is simple. You may refer to the following pages for more information:
- https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/kadence-galleries-plugin/
Best Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeI’d like to move the tags from the bottom of the post pages to the top. I’d also like to be able to add a piece of text before them to make it clear they’re tags. Something like this: “Tags: tag1, tag2”.
I can’t seem to find any setting in the customizer so I assume this will require some code edits?
In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: Image Grid (row, sections)
July 25, 2021 at 12:18 pm #267024I am trying to create a grid (rows, columns). Unfortunately the height of the image on the left does not properly align with the column on the right. Everything is aligned properly if there are not gutters or padding settings. Also the images have all the correct sizes/proportions in order to fit into the grid.
On Facebook someone mentioned to use background images – which does work. However, when using background images, the src (srcset) is missing which might affect the page loading speed. Any advice on how to approach this?
Thank you.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Image gallery
Hi
I would like to create an image gallery.
Structure as below:
Level 1: Will have 2 options to select from i.e Regional and International
Level 2: Upon selection of either of the above options, further there will be 2 drop downs basis which the image can be selected: “List of National Parks” and “List of classification (Amphibian, Bird, Fish, Mammal, etc)”
Level 3: Upon selection of a the respective “Classification” another drop down giving further options. Example: Upon selecting lets say “Mammal” a drop down containing Bear, Elephant, Cat, Dog etc.
Level 4: Selecting Cat will display all cat photos with details about the photo on text format (up to 300 words)
Lastly, there will be a image search option also on the page.
Is this possible to create using Pinnacle theme (or would Virtue or Ascend work better).
Which among the 3 is the best for Image heavy website (photography website).
Thanks

In forum: Membership ForumsIn forum: Membership ForumsJust to be clear, I didn’t make this post for the development team. I guess they know about the new requests in the feature request page. I made this post for other users to see the feature request and vote on it if they are interested in it as well.
I also thought the feature request page formatting to be quite bad. The description looks much cleaner here. If I had known about how it was going to come out in the end, I would have probably not written it that way there.

Indeed it is.
Not sure it was wrong to make a new post for the other one, but I wanted to give a bit more visibility to the feature request to see if other users were interested in it. Might be just me, but I didn’t think the feature request page was very easy to find.
