Hey ben, thanks i am figuring this out! I just encountered a problem, and when i look it up I can find a solution but I don’t understand it, as i am not a techy person!
When I click on the about page it shows a page that says Index of/about
Not sure how to make it go back to the right about page??

What do you mean by “scale the page”. Are you talking about zooming in and out on our browser? Or are you talking about the screen size?
Also what browser are you using.

shortcodes inside shortcodes can cause problems. I would built your main column with pagebuilder, then inside the visual editor widget you can have the accordion and use the theme shortcodes for columns.
Else you can just add html in the accordion for the columns.

if i’m supposed to know what “WPZ-builder” is I don’t sorry.To make a page that displayed all the products in a format like that isn’t possible with woocommerce as is. You would have to create a special template and that would be quite a bit beyond support. The only thing close that virtue has built in is to change your shop page from a 4 column grid to a single column layout. (you can do that in the theme options > shop settings).
You can also add a shortcode on your home page to place items in a single column layout. http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

I see in “Header Font Options” headline settings for “H1, H2, H3, H4, H5”
But when I go to write a post or page in the visual editor … I don’t see anywhere to assign these headline types.
I see bold … italics … strikethrough … etc.
But I don’t see how to change the text from regular text to a headline.
Confused.

on this page, in the first accordion pane, I would like to have it divide with one side as a picture (possibly a slider) and the other as text.I tried the short code again, but I think it confused the initial Column code.

Noticed your comment about the plugin: “Woocommerce Poor Guys Swiss Knife” not being entirely compatible and will see about replacing its functions with custom coding, but need to keep it active for now.
Note, I did deactivate it (WPGSK) to test and see if the one-at-a-item on the shop pages was impacted, with NO change in the behavior. The only thing with any effect was to turn on/off the Theme’s animation.

1. What SEO value are you looking for from the tags? Just the keywords? You can add those right into the post itself.
2. Tags html is only the name and a link to the tag archive page. As for making a tag cloud you couldn’t use a widget (because the widget uses a taxonomy values.) so you would have to code it out yourself.
While I’m not sure why tags would be so important if you need them then adding the taxonomy is possible in a child theme. Would require some development from you or a developer though. You would need archive templates and the functions to add tag support in all single post templates.

Hi, I have created a page with photos, text and a video, spread across two columns. All looks good unless I scale the page – when I do, the photo enlarges but the video doesn’t, so things start to look out of line.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I can make everything keep in line regardless of any scaling?

I have test different things with different plugins in your set up. I can’t recreate the same issue. I can tell you that this plugin: “Woocommerce Poor Guys Swiss Knife” doesn’t work well with the latest version of woocomerce. it breaks part of the my-account page.
Other then that, I don’t know. If you send me a login I can do some tests on your site?

Bg. I have noticed that on the 4 sites where I now use Virtue (brilliant!) with Woo and Prosociate,
the traffic have increased a lot (some new original content, better SEO), but the ratio of click-through to Amazon has diminished dramatically.
The Woo/Prosocc/virtue shop grid is generic and rather boring, a image a price and a button. *Login to see link
I am used to WPZ-builder and display the posts as a “single” and want to make something similar. This is what I like to do:
1 .Make Woo shop-category display whole “single” i.e. *Login to see link instead of a grid or tiles.
Full post with images, description and so, for visitors to scroll through, maybe 10-15.
2. Make a Prosociate/WooC/Virtue post a “Blog” post and appear as such in “Latest blog posts” to advertise that specific item on Home-page. *Login to see link
scroll down to “The 3 Best Family…”
I have browsed some here but not found any thread about that. If the answer is obvious..Sorry B)
PeterIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi, I added a map to one of my pages and it looks like the actual map is offset in the window the code provides. I can’t see the “drop pin” and the map doesn’t fully load in the window. Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick reply. This didn’t work. The icon is still “invisible” when looking at the site on a iPhone or in a small browser window. Maybe it’s not a color issue? The hotspot is definitely there, though.

What do you mean disappearing? You want a fixed slider? You could do this with css but if you have a fixed slider and a fixed header it will take up the entire page and even when you scroll you wont see anything else. Does that make sense?Hannah

I have a similar question … it doesn’t work to treat portfolio type like a tag as the type drives the “sort” on the portfolio and I need to control the sort categories. So I am in the same boat, how to add tags to my portfolio pages for SEO value … I need to figure out the correct strategy before I go any further into developing my site as changes cost alot of time.

Can tags be added in the text “code” section on the portfolio page for each image? If so what is the html for that and would tags added in this manner show up in the tag cloud?

As I build out, some of the images will have “stories” that I can build as a blog post and can tag it there, but … I don’t really have enough copy per image to do that right now …Thanks for you help

Hi there,
First of all. I tried to ask on the WordPress forums, but they deleted my thread as it’s meant to be under the catagori for the correct plugin. But noone is answering to me request on the plugin forums. So I’m kinda desperate to get an answer to this. I can’t seem to find anything about this online. I know it’s not your issue Ben, but you always seem to have an answer to everything. The plugin I’m using is “WordPress HTTPS (SSL)”
I got a problem with the plugin. It installed correctly and is almost working perfectly. There’s just one issue.
I set a page to be SSL protected and that works fine. When I visit the specific page it will go onto SSL protection with the little green lock. But when I then go from there onto a new page on the website, the SSL STAYS on. Like it has been activated for everything after visiting the protected page.
What could be the reason for this?

I tryed to reduce the header on my site *Login to see link
So I wrote this code:

}The size of the topbar and the header is properly reduced, but if I scroll on a page or post the header is spread to the hole width.
Is there a possability to avoid it?Regards
ThomasIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeI see small square for mobile menu on right in the header area but not icon seen on this page *Login to see link for mobile menu if you open that on iPad or mobile. On my windows phone’s IE browser I do not ever see that square but all menu item are shown when I click that region where I know the icon supposed to be.
I also notice that under icon menu I do not see preview of icon it only show square for all icons in the icon pack, but I do see icon names. I am thinking all issues may be related.Thanks,
