Hey,

For example I can chose Portfolio Main Page https://startertemplatecloud.com/e05/portfolio/ and I can also chose and see Portfolio Single Page https://startertemplatecloud.com/e05/portfolio-single-page/

But if I chose Services Main Page https://startertemplatecloud.com/e05/services/ I can not chose and see any Services Single Page. Links to all Services Single Pages (Web Design, Development, Planning & Consultation, Digital Marketing, Brand Development, Social & PR) are not active. There is no Template page for any example Service.

Kindly try to add an offset on the scroll animation using the script on this page to adjust the accordion pane position and not be placed behind the header.

Ivory Search?
I guess my solution would be to use a child them and make a new page template using your search.php and editing it to fit.
Something I wanted to avoid and still do 🙂
Anyways I came up with a work around using a custom sidebar for the search results page.
Putting the widget(s) for both the standard search tool and below it the Plugins single category search tool.So now the sidebar has the 2 search options. 1.) “Entire site” & 2.) “Videos Only”
The setting in Theme Options> misc. > search settings to have the newly created sidebar and not search tool/bar at the top of the search results page.
This all worked….until this morning anyways. The setting is clearly set to “False” in regards to the top of the page search tool.
but now it is showing again if there are no results???

NEW NOTE: I may have mis-spoke. It looks like the search results page does NOT DISPLAY a search tool at the top of the page WHEN there are results!
It only displays at the top of the page when there are NO RESULTS.
Any way to change that?

Upon checking your page, I can see two lightbox instances but I cannot see from where they’re coming from because of the caching and minified resources. Please could you try doing the step on this page and purge any cache to see if the issue will be fixed?

Hi Ben and Hannah,
Our promotion went live so I disabled the test elements! I’ve since set it back up for you to see on the special notice page (link in above reply marked private.) Currently, it is set to Fixed On Top, which flashes on scroll on mobile (iOS device, tested on Chrome, Duck Duck Go, and Safari). Works on an iPad, works on desktop.

To work around the flashing behaviour and the temporary disappearing when reaching the top of the page, I remade the element, this time set to “default” (rather than Fixed) and placed it throughout the site where I wanted it to appear. So it is not affecting my site at this time, but I would have preferred a more interactive implementation over what I have now.

Using a child theme, is it possible to remove the ellipses from post excerpts?
An example can seen in the 4 news posts on the lower half of this page:

Just want those little dots gone.

I followed the instructions found in this 2017 post but did not have any success.
I guess I wasn’t quite sure how to do what Ben instructed when he said ‘turn the themes function off’

Sorry for the delay! The portfolio full section in the homepage layout manager is a feature of virtue premium. Did you previously have Virtue Premium running, and now you are using Virtue free? Can you post a link?

Thanks for your reply. The only plug-ins I have are Kadence Plug-Ins. There are no third party plug-ins. When I disable Lightbox in the theme it adversely affects other pages, however when I disable it in the advanced gallery, I am no longer able to page through the photos and must open them one at a time. I guess I thought by using the Kadence plug-in that this would be more cohesive.

Ben, I believe what he wants is for the “biographical info” for the user to show on the author page.

I’m looking to do similar.

It’s like a description for the user just like the description for an archive page.

The info does show in the page code, so was hoping there was an easy way for it to show on the theme.

Here’s an archive page on my site (and you can change that content by clicking “edit category”)

Hey Stefan,
This can definitely be confusing. A portfolio (http://docs.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium/templates/portfolio-page-template/) is a page that displays individual portfolio posts (http://docs.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium/portfolio-posts/). The featured images from portfolio posts will be displayed on the portfolio page. A normal page, without an assigned template, is just a page that you can add any content to that you would like. Does this bring clarity?

The only thing I miss for example on WebAgency template is Services Single Page for example Digital Marketing Page.

There is an error in the sticky menu in the header of a few of our websites using Virtue Premium Theme

The top menu and the top bar go down to almost to the middle of the page when I scroll down or scroll up in a random way sometimes.

This error only occurs when I enable the sticky header.
Virtue -> Theme Options -> Main Settings -> Enable Sticky Header? ON.
