In reply to: Post Grid/Carousel – Display Filter
October 20, 2022 at 8:42 am #280699Hi Asmus,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The Post Grid/Carousel can filter multiple categories. Here’s a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/S38BS1C6jyPm
If you are referring to filtering sub-categories, unfortunately, this is not possible. You can submit a feature request for the Kadence Blocks at this link.
The other options (“Above Title Taxonomy” and “Below Title Meta”) doesn’t provide what I am looking for.
These are not filters. Can you explain in greater detail what exactly you are after? Do you have a reference link where we can see what you are trying to achieve or perhaps some screenshots?
Apologies if I’m misunderstanding your query.
Kind regards,
ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Kadence theme – blog posts and infinite scrolling
Hi,
Apologies for the delayed response as we don’t have support over the weekend.
I’ve checked the site you’re working on, and upon checking, it seems that you’re using the Posts block. Here, please refer to this screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/wbuQB1Qx
Also, it seems that you’re using the Posts Grid/Carousel block, however, only the pagination is enabled. What you can do is that you can change the Number of items of the posts that you want to display at the homepage so it will have an Infinite scroll look.
Please refer to this screen recording: https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDu7ekbv
Because, currently, infinite scroll functionality is not available yet on Posts Grid/Carousel block.
But the good news is, this feature has been logged as a feature request. Here’s the link: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/post-grid-carousel-block-infinite-scroll/.
Kindly vote on it and post a comment to include your specific use case scenario.
Please note that the more votes that a feature has gotten, the higher its chances to be added to our products.
However, I am unable to provide you with an exact date for when this feature will be available or, if possible, as our team considers several factors before implementation, like how many people have requested it, how difficult it is to implement, and so on.
Hope this answers your question.
Should you need further assistance, please let us know, and we’re always here to help!
Cheers,

In forum: Kadence BlocksOctober 13, 2022 at 5:59 am #280592Hi there,
Currently, I’m trying to set up a Carousel with the custom posttypes from plugin “The Event Calendar”. Within the block sidebar, I’m able to select this posttype, which is great!
But I’m unable to change the “Order by” to the configured date the event starts. And there is also no possibility to replace the “Postdate” with the “Event date” within the Footer meta of Below Title Meta.
Is that something we can manage to alter with a php-function? So yes, how?
This would be awesome,
Kind regards
In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Product Catalog Loop Item on home page
Hi, Rachid!
Thanks for reaching out to us and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
“I think it’s maybe because the original blocks of woocommerce are not made to recover the design of Woo Templates that I can’t do it?”
Yes, this is correct. The Shop Kit Woo Templates will only apply to the WooCommerce pages. Currently, we do not have a block or shortcode to show a product list that will use the template you created.“What do you think is the right solution to display my products with my design created in the Product Catalog Loop Item in any page?”
Sadly, I cannot think of any workaround you can do to show a product grid. There is a Gutenberg block – Query Loop block. This block, however, is more of a layout for posts, not products.I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeOtherwise, import works via the starter templates. But is useless in this case, because the particular page is not im-portable, as it has a filter part of the Post Grid/Carousel block.
In short, I can’t access the library when I want to do it via editing a created page and use the “Row Layout” to import this particular page, or the library here does not recognize that the Pro Plugins are installed and activated? What can be the reason. What are the possible solutions?
In forum: Kadence BlocksHi there,
I am setting up a Post Grid/Carousel to display different Custum Posts, which are labelled with different categories. The Display Filter is great for filtering 1 category, but I would like to be able to filter more than just one categorie. Basically an extra filter option, just below the first one. Is this possible?
The other options (“Above Title Taxonomy” and “Below Title Meta”) doesn’t provide what I am looking for.
Best regards,

September 30, 2022 at 3:36 am #280372In Kadence Pro blocks, I see it has the Post Grid/Carousel that allows you to list both Posts and Pages. Is there a way to list only the Categories as grid instead of list? Each category will have a featured image.

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Kadence portfolio grid/carousel show titles
Hi there!
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
Please note that this block’s default style is to only show the posts’ titles on hover. If you want to override that style, you can add this custom CSS code in Customizer > Additional CSS:
.kb-blocks-portfolio-content-hover-zoomin .kb-blocks-portfolio-grid-item .kb-portfolio-content-item-inner { opacity: 1; }This will be applied to all Portfolio Grid/Carousel blocks on your website. If you have any website cache, clear it after saving your changes.
I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksHi, Phillip!
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
For the related posts carousel, you can add this to Customizer > Additional CSS to make them equal heights:
.entry-related article.entry { height: 100%; }For the post grid/carousel block before the footer, there is also no built option for that so you can add this additional CSS too:
.wp-block-kadence-postgrid article.kt-blocks-post-grid-item { height: 100%; }After saving changes, make sure to clear your cache. Here’s a post to guide you – https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/clearing-your-website-cache/.
I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.
Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeI see that you can go to Customize>Posts/Pages Layout, and Page Layout or Post Layout, and modify the “Default Page Layout” to select a left sidebar or right sidebar instead of the default normal without a sidebar.
Is there a way to add a sidebar to the homepage? Here is the homepage that I see. It has a grid layout and no sidebar.
Also, a related question. When I tried setting “Page Default Sidebar” to “Sidebar 2”, the sidebar disappears.
It works fine if I use “Sidebar 1”.
Is there something I need to do to get the sidebar 2 working? What exactly is the difference between sidebar 1 and sidebar 2?
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Infinite Scroll on Custom Post Type
Hi,
I just want to give an update that the infinite scroll for custom post type archive pages should work when it was enabled on the blog options. However, it will only work if you’re using the grid layout(Category Display Type option). There is a bug if you’re using a list layout and our developer said that they’ll fix it soon.
Kind regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence BlocksSeptember 9, 2022 at 4:26 am #280098Hi All,
So I’ve had a site working without issue and without many modifications (CSS, etc)… I am using the post grid / slider block. When the layout setting is set to slider, every slider box is a different size. This was an issue over a year ago as well, and I found the below link to address it with CSS here in the forums:
BUT! It doesn’t seem to work any longer. (it’s possible it’s just me… but… ). Is the CSS different? When I inspect CSS the classes don’t look the same as the code below that is from the link I posted above:
🙁
Any help would be appreciated!
.kt-blocks-carousel .slick-initialized .slick-track {
display: flex;
}
.kt-blocks-carousel .slick-initialized .slick-slide {
display: flex;
flex: 1;
flex-direction: column;
height: auto;
}
.kt-blocks-carousel .slick-initialized .slick-slide .kt-blocks-post-grid-item {
height: 100%;
}In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: How can i add similar ports to custom page?
Update: by using PostX, I was able to achieve the above. Used Kadence elements to place my grid block in there and use the grid block’s built in related post query. I also create an HTML element (as an alternative to customizer custom css) and manually re-created the needed css for the block, otherwise the grid block loaded without markup.
In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Template Element for list of post on a homepage
September 1, 2022 at 8:36 pm #279987Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch. From what I understand, you are trying to apply a Template Element Hook on a Posts block or a Post Grid/Carousel block. Currently, this is not possible. Template Hooks are only meant to be applied to page templates and not blocks.
I believe this is related to these feature requests:
https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/posts-grid-carousel-should-be-able-to-use-elements-content-sections-as-loop-item-templates/
https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/feature-requests/hooks-for-posts-block/You can also add your vote, so the developers can consider this feature. However, please note that we cannot give an ETA of when this will be added. The development team considers certain factors before implementing new ones.
I hope this helps answer your questions. If I misunderstood what you’re trying to do, please let us know, and we’ll be more than happy to continue helping until you get your desired result.

August 31, 2022 at 9:48 pm #279960Hi Bonn,
Can you elaborate a little more? How would we add content from an ACF field directly below the title when using the Post Grid/Carousel block? Can you clarify in more detail how you can hook into the block in question?In forum: Kadence BlocksI’d like to use the Posts Grid block to display a row of post featured images, and have the post titles display as an overlay on top of the images when the user hovers over them. I’m not seeing any options in the block UI for changing where the title is positioned, or for adding a hover effect on the image (or the post container as a whole).
Any suggestions?

Hi,
It seems you’re referring to the Post Grid/Carousel block, is this correct? If so, this block is available when you have Kadence Blocks – PRO Extension plugin. You can refer to this page to know more other blocks included in Kadence Blocks Pro plugin. Here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/pro/
Hope this helps!

DaneIn forum: Virtue ThemeAugust 23, 2022 at 8:36 pm #279823Hello,
Did you find a solution to this?
I encountered the same error “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed” when I tried to use post grid/carousel block. Tried to deactivate all my plugins and the error still persisted so not sure what is the issue.
Look forward to your assistance please.
