Hello Hannah how are you.
Thanks for your reply. Post Grid/Carousel block sounds good for displaying the actual posts – but I was wanting to fetch and show the 6 CPT categories (3 per row) – archive title and featured image (that is then clickable through to the releveant category posts pages)
Best to do that manually, then use the Post Grid/Carousel block on the relevant pages?
In forum: Kadence ThemeHi Solace,
Thanks for reaching out! The Post Grid/Carousel block from Kadence Blocks Pro allows you to display a masonry layout of categories. https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/pro/post-grid-carousel-block/
Would that work for you?Kindly,
HannahIn forum: Kadence BlocksJuly 29, 2022 at 7:13 am #274345Hi there,
My site: *Login to see link
I’m using the Post Grid/Carousel block to create category pages. The goal is to have the category pages in the same layout as the home page. (I use Generatepress as the theme.)
I also use pagination.
However, when I open page 2, the posts from page 1 show. No matter what page I press, the page 1 posts always appear.
I’ve read somewhere that the Post Grid/Carousel doesn’t work on archives. Is that my problem?
Other than that, thank you for an awesome plugin.

July 2, 2022 at 9:01 pm #273932I am wondering if anyone ever found a solution to this. In a perfect world “accordion” would be one of the layout options in the post grid block or the accordion block would have a “pull from posts” option but I know how hard everyone works over at Kadence and there are only so many hours in the day.
I have tried creating this in elements but I am either doing it wrong or it’s not possible. 1st is a really good possibility. lol
In forum: Kadence BlocksJune 29, 2022 at 8:07 am #273878Hi, already posted a message in the premium support a week ago, no response yet.
The problem is: we want to use a custom Gutenberg structure inside a post slider. The post grid block looks limited in our case, that’s why I am using Gutenberg query loop block.
It is working almost fine but none of Kadence blocks is fetching the correct loop item post link.
I am able to use Advanced Text block and put each particular title dynamically.
I also able to print post meta.
But I can’t add a link ( overlay link or element link ), it is not getting correct post and finally it is printing wrong URL.
Same for background image inside section block – I can’t set it as a featured image URL but I am able to print it as a text.Tested on WP 5.9.1 and WP 6 with latest pro Kadence blocks, pro kadence theme
In forum: Kadence BlocksJune 23, 2022 at 8:17 pm #273797Hello Adeline,
I am not able to view the website https://vive.esprit-eternel.fr
Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uLAmzP
I tried to replicate the possible settings you have on your Post Grid/Carousel block using the screenshot you gave. I set my page to have a sidebar, used the same Post Grid/Carousel block layout settings and type. However, I am still not able to replicate the issue where the pagination moves on top of the page.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uXdl9o
Do you have other custom CSS on your website?
Kindly provide additional description on how we can replicate the issue. If possible, please provide a screen recording, so we can investigate further. Alternatively, you can also send us a message in our support channel, so we can investigate this further: https://www.kadencewp.com/premium-support-tickets. You can add the link to this conversion when you send us a support ticket, so we’ll already have a background of the issue when we continue the conversion there.
Best regards,

Ok, this website is under construction, it isn’t finished. https://vive.esprit-eternel.fr/
And it’s an example. Sometimes the post grid/carousel block used may be further down the page.
and when we click on one of the pagination buttons, it does not stay on the posts but it goes to the very top of the page.or another possibility, I would like to put infinite scroll
if it is possible – how ?Thanks for your help
Best regards

AdelineIn forum: Kadence BlocksJune 20, 2022 at 8:18 pm #273725Hello Adeline,
Thanks for getting in touch.
You can use/adjust this custom CSS to target and change the style of the pagination of the Post Grid/Carousel block:
.kt-blocks-page-nav .nav-links>a, .kt-blocks-page-nav .nav-links>span { padding: 4px 12px; font-weight: 700; font-size: 11px; margin: 5px; display: inline-block; float: none; min-width: 14px; text-align: center; color: var(--global-palette5, #aaa); background: var(--global-palette9, #fff); border: solid 0px var(--global-palette5, #aaa); transition: all .2s ease-in-out; }Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQulK99q
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help out.
Best regards,

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
Hope you can help.
Since yesterday, all icons on the WC shop page are missing. They are gone from the header, all menus as well as from the contents Grid/List.
The header icons do work on ALL other pages, though!
I have disabled a few plugins here and there, but none was the problem.
Urgent. Please have a look. I suspect the problem is related to the shop’s contents area and perhps has to do with adsense or analytics. Anyhow, I’m not sure about that. Before I go to delete or suspend all my plugins (as they have all a complex setup) I would like to have an opinion from you. Maybe you can help.
I’m using the latest virtual premium (auto update) but I use the ‘old’ editor (no blog editor)
Thank you
Regards/Rainer

DaneIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn forum: Kadence ThemeHi there!
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
A WordPress archive page is basically the listing page of all posts for your website. Typically, posts will be shown in a grid layout.
If you’re using the Kadence Theme, the customization options can be seen by going to Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout. You are correct, the widths of each “post item” can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing the number of columns per row.
Is all the page building with the Kadence theme done entirely through the theme and Kadence Blocks tools? Or when I go to Appearance/Customize am I looking at a facet of the Gutenberg Editor?
All page/post content will be done by editing them and using the WordPress block editor called Gutenberg. Our Kadence Blocks plugin provides additional blocks that you can use within the editor.
The Customizer options are more of the general style/layout options, there’s not much content editing that can be done there. For your reference regarding the Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks plugin, you can go to the following links:

May 30, 2022 at 6:50 am #273355Hi Hannah,
Thanks for your reply. I managed to fix the off center problem just on the ‘art, curation, news, books’ page because I wrote to the grid plugin author (it’s a plugin called photoblocks) and she gave me this code to add to that specific 4 image gallery/grid I made:
.photoblocks-gallery {
margin: 0 auto;
}
which sorted that page out 🙂–
But the text is still off to the left on many other pages
https://jennymcnamara.com/portfolio/tunnel-vision/
https://jennymcnamara.com/portfolio/tunnel-vision-model/ (it’s to the left on all my portfolio pages)
https://jennymcnamara.com/news/ (also on my posts page)I have checked the settings on Theme Options > Blog Options and it’s set to full width so I’m still not sure why all the text is off to the left
In forum: Kadence ThemeMay 28, 2022 at 6:40 am #273329Hi everyone,
as far as I know and have read this is probably not a question of how to achieve it, but more of a feature request. Still, I thought I give it a try and ask: Is there a way to have pagination on the normal Kadence posts block? I know, that it is possible with the Post Grid/Carousel Block, but for rather strong layout reasons, I would like to achieve it with the normal posts block.
If this is currently not possible, is there a chance you will implement this feature in one of your upcoming updates?
Many thanks and kind regards

In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Kadence Post Grid/Carousel block problem
May 6, 2022 at 2:47 pm #273010Hey,
A not on this, as of 1.7.10 sticky posts won’t increase the post count for the Post Grid/Carousel Block as long as you are not using pagination. Because of how WordPress core handles sticky posts there isn’t any clean way to include them in a single query so as a work around the block will just stop rendering posts after the count is reached.
