    Try adding this to your css:

    .kadence-post-image-intrisic .kadence-post-image-inner-intrisic {
        display: inline-block;
    }
    .kt-blocks-post-grid-item .entry-title a {
        text-align: center;
    }
    .kt-blocks-post-grid-item .kt-blocks-post-top-meta {
        display: inline;
    }

    Does that work for you?

    Hello,

    You should be able to assign a sidebar to your blog grid template. Under the “blog grid options” make sure that the sidebar layout is enabled and the proper sidebar selected.

    Also, please post a link with all support queries so I can see the current output.

    Thanks!,
    Kevin

    Hey Phil,
    Are you using Kadence Blocks Pro? We recently released a post grid/carousel block for Kadence Blocks Pro that would allow you to add featured images. You can learn about it here: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks-post-grid-carousel-block/

    Hi Team, I’m sure you’ve dealt with this before but I can’t find the thread.

    On this live site I have added “News and Announcements” which lists posts using the following code (from the block editor):

    <!-- wp:latest-posts {"categories":"5","displayPostDate":true,"postLayout":"grid","columns":2} /-->

    This outputs the post titles in bullet-point format.
    I’d like to reformat this by replacing the bullet with a small version of the thumbnail.
    I know I remember reading about this in the past.
    Please could you point me in the right direction?
    Many thanks,
    Phil.

    Using page builder or Gutenberg & Kadence Blocks you can recreate that page without using the home layout manager.

    The icons can be added with a shortcode in the “virtue shortcodes” generator on a visual editor widget.

    Or using the info box in the Kadence blocks.

    There are widgets and shortcodes for the carousels.

    Also a shortcode for the blog posts. Or you can use the Kadence Blocks Blog grid block.

    Hi

    I recently updated to Ascend Premium which is great! I’m updating our site – – to take advantage of some of the premium features and I have a problem with the Ascend Post Grid and Recent Posts widgets.

    When I add them to a sidebar on a draft test page on the live site, the preview results in a server timeout. No other widgets do this, nor does the built-in WordPress Recent Posts widget (which outputs links to the latest posts, without thumbnails of the featured images). The blog_posts shortcode works fine on the test page. The site is running WordPress 5.0.3, with the classic editor as I’ve not yet moved to Gutenberg. Ascend theme is the latest, 1.7.0.

    I have tried purging caches and re-saving permalinks but it makes no difference. However, the widgets work on my staging site, which is running on WordPress 5.0.2 so I suspect a possible conflict with these widgets which use blog post featured images and the latest 5.0.3 version of WordPress.

    Any help to diagnose and resolve the issue would be appreciated!

    Thanks for a superb theme.

    Julian

    Hi Guys!

    Please can you offer some code to edit search results appearance.

    Currently I have “simple Grid” selected from “Theme Options > Misc Settings”

    This is fine BUT is it possible to remove the type of post info. For example “Portfolio”

    I only want the image and title minus the post type.

    Here is a link: TreeHuggerTravel.com.au

    Thanks John 🙂

    Hey,
    Have you created individual testimonial posts? You can do this from the Testimonial tab in your WP Dashboard. Then create a testimonial archive page using the Testimonial Grid page template. Or have you already done this?

    Hey,
    Using the portfolio grid template will remove hte sidebar. If you want a sidebar with portfolio grid then you would need to use the normal page template and add the portfolio shortcode:

    [portfolio_posts columns="2" items="10"]

    For example.

    Please note that you are using the free theme on that site and the free theme doesn’t have portfolio posts shortcodes so you will need to activate the premium version.

    I have been using Grid with first past standard and three Post Columns for my Home Page Layout on my site since I started using the them over a year ago. However after updating the theme only the first post shows and then it does not how any more posts its all black except at the bottom of the page where you can navigate to older posts.

    I have had to change this to Standard for now so that at least the post show on the site. Something in the latest update appears to have broken this functionality.

    Hello Kevin,
    I’ve tried this solution but I lost some of the features I had in the post grid template.
    But anyway I’ll let the Flip widget on the top for now.
    Thanks for answering.
    Have a nice day.

    Hello,

    One workaround would be to use a default template rather than the blog, and then just add the posts through page builder below your other widget.

    You should be able to do so using the “Virtue Post Grid Widget.”

    Does that work for you?

    Hello,

    On this page ( a post grid template), I’ve put a Flip widget on top of the post grid. I would like to put it in the bottom (beneath the post grid) instead of the top.
    Is there a setting for this or a workaround ?
    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the feedback. I’ve pressed the restore revision option. The images were part of the Post.
    It looks like the images /grid is still there as I can see the code but I don’t want to make a booboo so I’ll rather ask first.

    I’ve read the following on a wordpress.com site
    ‘Clicking the Load button loads the selected revision into the editor. In order for the changes to persist, they need to be saved.’

    I can’t see a LOAD button on my revision page?

    see below some of the codings I’ve copied that bring me under the impression that the gallery with Images is still there

    Hi, at the bottom of this page we put a post grid shortcode so display some category posts. when we click one off them, we arrive correctly to the post detail, BUT, in the top of the page the breadcrumbs appears and if the user clicks the DEVELOPMENT & DATA MANAGEMENT breadcrumb link the category page is loaded…. that is the problem: we wanted to load the page, not the DEVELOPMENT & DATA MANAGEMENT post category page… is there a way to do that or we need to hide breadcrumbs? how we can hide them?

    thank you very much

    Hello guys.

    Please tell me, is there a shortcode to add single product to page?
    Lets say I want to add product with ID 57 to a blog post and it should look like a shop grid element.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

    You’re adding some CSS thats changing the layout of the staff grid:

    .postclass {background: transparent;}

    div#staffwrapper img {height: 250px;width:auto;}

    .staff_item .imghoverclass {text-align: center;}
    header.kt-staff-header {text-align: center;}

    Remove that, and then let me know what you’re wanting the grid to show as, and I can help you with the CSS.

    Hi Pascal,

    1. You could typically use the Testimonial grid page template on your about page, but seeing as you’re wanting two separate categories to display you can use a shortcode like this: [testimonial_posts orderby=date items=4 columns=4 cat=photos] Have you already created separate categories for your feedback and reviews? If so, you can just replace “photos” with your category slug.

    2. You can use the home widget area (enabled in theme options > home layout) then add a virtue:testimonial carousel widget (from appearance > widgets).

    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hannah
