In reply to: Flex slider + Split content widget
In order for the sliders to show up on the portfolio grid page, the slider needs to be active within each post, with your desired images placed within them.
Go into the “portfolio post options” for the desire post, and make sure that you’ve selected “image slider” for your “project summary.
Then scroll even further down the page, and find “portfolio slider images.” Ad the images you want to appear in the slider, and you should be done.
Hope that helps!

Hey guys,
You can test your page speed here- http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
I would suggest a caching plugin. We like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache. Compressing your images can also make a huge difference.
Let me know if the response time doesn’t change.
Raphael could you post a link to your site?Hannah

1. I am already seeing your title that color? You can make it bold with css like this:
.home h2.entry-title { font-weight: 600; }Just paste that in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
2. Try adding this css:
.home .single-article .post header { padding: 0; }Hope that helps!
HannahIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: footer customisation
Hey,
1. Make sure you’re adding your title to the actual title tab of your post, don’t just add it into the content area. Does that make sense?2.
.footercredits { color: #000; }3. Are you still talking about the footer? I’m not really sure what part of that site you’re referring to, sorry. Can you be more specific?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: portfolio navigation
February 1, 2016 at 6:33 am #78792Hi
I hvae som navigation questions regarding the portfolio items on my site in progress: *Login to see link
1)
I want the protfolio navigation (prev/next) to be visible on all portfolio posts…
Bu I can’t seem to do this with the theme preferences – even tho’ I have checked and unchecked the oiptions in the theme preferences many times, and all my portfolioitems are set to display “default” options.
Can you see what is wrong?2) Is it possible to display the portfolionavigation (prev/next) in the portfolio desscription (text area).
Or below the portfolio – like in the single blog post setup?
So the navigation has the same logic on both blog and portfolio pages…Thank you

Note the size of the text “Next Event” compared to the blog post heading “Committee Meeting 24 February”. The latter is too big.
Where do I control its size, please? Because of its orange text colour I assume that it’s one of the Header Font Options, but none of these mentions posts. Do I need some custom css?
Thanks for your patience and hard work. My website is beginning to look good.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Length of excerpt – grid
I choose blog-grid for my posts. But there is only possibility to choose how many word will be in excerpt. It’s not good for me because blocks with excerpts have different sizes (because of different lengths of words). Is there any option to have grid blocks with the same size? If it could count letters instead of words it would be better but it could cut the word at the and. I was seeking some plugins but all I’ve checked have the same situation.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Blog featured Image resize mismatch on homepage
My blog posts are formatted the way I want them on the individual post pages. However, the summaries that appear on my home page (which I think occurs via the Home Widget area) lose all formatting and links. The same occurs in summaries that appear on my Blog page. I don’t understand why this is happening. How can I preserve the formatting of my posts in the summaries?
Also, I’m not sure I want my Blog page to display summaries rather than full content of posts. Where would I turn full display on and off?
Thanks.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Menu positioning
Hi, I’ve been trying to position and fix the spacing on my top menu. Everything was ok until I added a further menu item, which wouldn’t fit on the same line and has now dropped onto a second line on it’s own. I guess if I can move the menu left, making room for the new menu entry, then that would sort it out. I managed to move the menu left using some css from another post, but the new menu still dropped down onto a second line on it’s own. I’ve reduced the font and spacing, but still can’t manage to get my menu’s all on the one line.
I guess I’m not really content with the layout of menu I’ve added, it just doesn’t look good – especially where the white text is placed over a light background on some of the header images. Also, if I don’t use a slider I get a line of text telling me where I’ve navigated to in my header – which I don’t really want to see.
Thanks for a great theme.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I am trying to create a template for a custom type with Page Builder. So that when a new custom type item is made, this template is used every time.
In other words, making a template in Page Builder and having that new Page Builder template as the template for all new posts based on that custom type.
Additional question: Virtue Premium uses which version of Bootstrap?
Many thanks and best regards,
Ed

And I need a detailed dummie. Hopefully it will be easier for you to understand.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Formatting Latest Blog Posts Widget
January 30, 2016 at 3:13 pm #78667Hey,
1. You can limit how many show on the home page setting the home page as a post page.. use the settings > reading. “Blog pages show at most” – set that to three.2. In terms of adding a title you can use the home widget area place a text widget into it with whatever you want for a title.

January 30, 2016 at 3:07 pm #78663Hey,
So if you know how to make them then you should see how to edit them?In your wordpress admin you can click on “testimonials” as one of the menu options. Once you do you should see a list of testimonial posts. Those you can click on to edit. There you can change the text and image..
Maybe if you post a link with what you have I’ll understand better what your asking?
Ben
