Hi ben,

I just added parallax image again on my frontpage but its just too closed to the blog post row and product on sale. i set up the layout row gutter and bottom margin to be 4 cm but it didnt change. my link is dkidslegacy.com. looking forward to hearing from u thanks

Hello Kadence folks

Hate to bother, but I’ve got a bit of an issue here that i haven’t been able to figure out yet. Hopefully it’s just something i’m overlooking

For some strange reason, pictures from my gallery do not show up at all using the Pinnacle Gallery widget, regardless of what area of the site i assign the widget to.

Strange thing is, the title for the pinnacle gallery widget does show up in the assigned area. So it seems as the widget is writing to the page correctly, but it simply cannot see the gallery.

Furthermore, the Pinnacle Carousel and Pinnacle Post Grid both work as intended by displaying images from those pages into the widget area, giving me further reason to believe the issue is related to my gallery and how the widget sees it

I cleared the cache several times and deactivated all plugins, but that did not help. Also switched the gallery to use standard format (my gallery was originally using masonry). The gallery images still did not appear in the widget.

Is there something i’m supposed to do to make the widget see my gallery, or is this some sort of bug?
I’d rather not use a 3rd party gallery widget due to fears it might compromise the site’s functionality, but I’d be more than happy to use one you’d recommend.

Unfortunately, the issue is a bit sensitive, so i hope i can hear back soon. I’d appreciate any assistance.

In WordPress, under Themes, the “Customize” button for Virtue does not work. I can edit the “Themes” link. I found a really old post that was sort of similar, which suggested that the plugins be deactivated. I did that, and the page got a little bit further in terms of loading, but it still won’t get me to a point where I can edit it. Both wordpress and the theme is updated. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ah Ben – Please ignore for the moment … I’ve had some success by copying and pasting lines in from original install.php scripts. I think it’s working – just need to test some more but did not want to waste your time any more. I will post an update when tested more extensively.

It doesn’t look like your using the Kadence Importer: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-themes-demo-content/

I really suggest using that if you can. That importer will import the revolution slider. Right now on your site you have the flex slider activated and that isn’t a fullwidth slider so thats why your image isn’t full width. You need to use the revolution, Kadence, or cyclone slider. These are sliders that you set up in the plugins area not in the theme options, you only assign that slider in the theme options.

Your hosting provider should be able to walk you through finding your php setting as well as increasing them.

Hey,
I made a test and there’s a little problem.
If I paste the code and use the shortcode area the map appears correctly but I lose the title post and breadcrumbs.
If there’s no other solution I give it up no problem.
Just have a look at the result here and compare with other page.

Ok if your not wanting anything in these extra columns this can be done just with css. No need for any coding. Just set your pages to use the “fullwidth” page template. Then post a link.

In terms of the css you posted, you would only would need this:

Hey Danny,
I just tested Ben’s suggestion and it seemed to work fine. When you add the layout builder widget and create two columns within it and save it looks like it falls into one column, but when you save and view the page it should be displaying as two. Let me know if this is not the case for you and if not do you mind posting a link to the page you’re working on?

I would like to make some changes in the pages where is shown a city map and having the map going up to top page, under the header title and menu like in this simulation I did with photoshop.

Is there a theme option I can use only for some pages not for all the site page/post?
If not can you schedule such option for next release? It would be having the page content going under the header and in my case is the dynamic map of openstreetmap.org

Hey,
Premium is not meant to run with the virtue toolkit. It’s supposed to not work together because the premium theme has things already added that the toolkit does.

I’m looking into your issue. I think it’s possible your download was missing a small change in the functions file. I updated and then updated the theme about 4 minutes after I updated when I saw that with certain servers and settings is_plguin wasn’t being called in time. In the current download here: https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/
the post-type.php file comes after the call for shortcodes so the include_once( ABSPATH . ‘wp-admin/includes/plugin.php’ ); is already called for.

In each post where you can edit the content click on the “screen options” in the top right corner of the screen. There make sure excerpt is checked and you will be able to set a custom excerpt.

1. The logo size is constrained to the logo div. If you would like a logo to fill the width of your header go to the theme options > main settings. Scroll down to the logo layout and choose the centered logo option.

2. The values should take effect on the frontend of the site. Can you post a link to your site so I can see why yours aren’t taking place?

3. How much space would you like? I can help you change that with a simple css line that can be placed in your theme options> advanced settings.

For me to know the reason for your issue I need to know if you had any warnings when trying to install the demo content? What are your php settings for max memory, max execution time max upload size.
