I just looked at your link and your not using the virtue theme? In the future please use the pinnacle forms because this could get pretty confusing.

But luckily they both apply in regards to the settings.

Hey,
So that is a browser rendering issue. Can happen with chrome and it has to do with caching in the browser and the render process. If you install a caching plugin like w3 total cache it should clear up the issue.

You need to speed up your site load, optimize images, and add a caching plugin like w3 total cache.. also you have two image that you are loading from a different domain and that is really slowing down the load.

I am trying to create my own website and i want it to be as fast as possible, therefore i want to install w3 total cache plug-in, but i am having some problems intalling it. I downloaded and installed the plug-in but a lot of errors appeared when i tried to configure it.

New Relic is not running correctly. The plugin has detected the following issues:
* PHP module is not enabled.
* PHP agent is not enabled.
* API Key is invalid.
* Account ID is not configured.
* Application ID is not configured. Enter/Select application name.
* License key could not be detected.
Please review the settings.

The W3 Total Cache license key has expired. Please renew it: .
A configuration issue prevents CDN from working: The “Authorization key” is not correct.

I looked around but i really don’t know how to fix them. I even watched the tutotials from the website ( https://rpm.newrelic.com/accounts/804399/applications/setup )but to be honest i don’t even know what language to use or where to paste those code lines.
I really hope you can help me work this out.

I deactivated super cache the other day when you mentioned it.

Turned off transparent, no change. The mountain image is uploaded there. I deleted it, saved, no change. Added it back, color is set to “clear”, saved, no luck on any browser. What is going on with this thing? I was so excited to switch to one of your themes, but I’ve spent over a week just messing w/one image. Would love a resolution soon. Do you want my login? Another theme I used logged in to correct a problem, just a thought.

When I view your site, I now see that you have set the background to be transparent in the home slider options.

I don’t see that you have set an image? Can you try adding an image and then saving?

AS for not seeing the results, if you had wp super cache did you turn it off or deactivate. Because you need to turn the caching off then deactivate.

Hey,
Looks like your site has a redirect loop, that can be caused by an issue in your htacess file. Or wordpress not being properly set up. I would contact your hosing server and ask theme to check your htaccess file.

Are you using a caching plugin? wp super cache could cause issues link that.

The only ajax buttons are your add to cart buttons. Those already have a spinner. For links there isn’t a way to add an ajax loaded spinner unless you did some major coding and I would strongly recommend against is because it only slows down you site more and it’s not popular with consumers.

The real solution is to make your site faster which with the use of plugins like w3 total cache you can optimize your site a lot even if your on a low end server.

2. I have unistalled this theme and re-install it back, but the problem stills there.

Hey guys,

I’m not sure how long this has been going on but i just realized that when simple products have add to cart buttons the menu cart item count does not change when adding item to cart.

The item count will change when loading another page or refreshing but it wont change in real time.
I don’t have any cache plug-ins running so i don’t think that is the problem.

On the other hand when adding an item from the shop archive pages the woocommerce sidebar cart will add the items once add to cart is clicked but still the main menu cart will not add the products.

I’ve deactivated all plugins with no change as well.

I hadnt been checking individual posts, you’re right they’re there! I was expecting the share buttons to appear in the pages as well, but had not checked the posts. Thankyou. I didnt know to clear the supercache after each change, so thanks for that as well. I have also worked out how to show the share buttons in the pages as well, that does seem to require the widget. Ao all sorted, thanks very much for your patience 🙂

For the premium theme you don’t need “Virtue / Pinnacle ToolKit Version 2” It’s only for the free theme.

Jetpack has it’s own sharing buttons, have you made sure they are deactivated? That would by why you have a sharing page in your settings.

In the basic settings of Simple Share Buttons Adder if you have set up the “Location:” and made sure you have moved networks to the selected section, The last step is to clear your cache in super cache, Which I am assuming you know to do after every change in your site.

So when I look at a post on your site: http://www.houndsconnect.co.uk/judgement-in-the-dog-world/ I see share links above and below the text?? Where is it not working?

Ben, I’ve been into set-up as you suggested, when I first installed the plugin – I have been in and rechecked several times – I’ve chosen networks and position and text etc. Since your suggestions that something might be conflicting with it I have deleted shareaholic, which was already installed but deactivated. I’ve deleted the facebook like box that I had installed on the front page and still nothing appears. The plugins I have activated are

I also have Virtue / Pinnacle ToolKit Version 2.1 but its not activated and when I tried to activate I got a message I got a fatal errorcode – I don’t know if it should be activated? or if its relevant?

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

There is a ‘sharing’ option in settings, from an app called Publicize,, but that doesn’t appear to be associated with a plugin so assumed it was part of wordpress

Does any of that help identify how I can resolve?
