    Thanks for the reply.
It’s a test site and on localhost.
I deleted the cache both in chrome and with delete cacahe plugin but it is still primary sidebar.

    Hello,

Did you clear your site’s cache after changing the sidebar? Can you please post a link to this?

    It’s fixed!

I purged the cache and deleted the other themes (just to be sure, that it would switch back) and it had all the settings back to normal.

Thank you very much for your help and also I hope I’ve helped with trying to investigate how this could have happened!

    Best Wishes,

ok, so if it’s caused by Remove Query Strings From Static Resources that just means your phone cache wasn’t cleared.

I suggest not using Remove Query Strings From Static Resources regardless.

Hello. Cleared site cache and still no luck. Any ideas?

    Hello,

did you clear your site’s cache after enabling these settings? If not, give that a try and let me know if that makes a difference.

    Hey,
    Thanks for writing,

When you say : “Of course I have cleared the cache many times and the problem persists.”

What does that mean for you? I see that you have plugins running which are minifying and caching the html output, as well as minifying, combining and caching the scripts. Not to mention defering the scripts.

Are you working in these plugins to clear all their cache or are you just clearing your browser cache? Or both?

And by the way you should not defer loading jquery, that breaks woocommerce, the other scripts are fine.

I have deleted a home page slider from the site. But when I view the site in Google Chrome, the blue background of the slider still remains, and most of the images are missing from the site (logo, front page images, other images). Of course I have cleared the cache many times and the problem persists.

When I load the site in Safari, the slider background (blue, 400px tall) flashes briefly, and then disappears.

I have verified with the host that there are no errors on the server showing up. All plugins and theme are current.

    Hi Samina,
Is the testimonial carousel widget currently being added? Have you cleared your cache after adding?

    Hey,
Thanks for posting, You wrote that

We have set a 301 redirect for the homepage to end with the following query ‘?loggedin=true’ but on mobile it doesn’t seem to work.

That doesn’t make sense to me. The way I see it if you want to add a cache busting query then you need to only add it for logged in users not all users or all users will have that query cached and it won’t function as a way to bust caching.

I suggest for you that instead of you doing anything that you go to your woocommerce settings > general > “Default customer location” and set that to geolocate with page caching support.

Let me know if that works for you!

    Hi

    Our website sellcellmobile.co.za.

Users log in on the my account page but when the user gets to the homepage, the user is then not logged in and only after refresh it changes the logged in state.

We have set a 301 redirect for the homepage to end with the following query ‘?loggedin=true’ but on mobile it doesn’t seem to work.

We have uninstalled all cache and performance plugins. Any idea how to make sure user logged in state is correct?

    Hi Kevin,

I disabled every plugin one by one, purged cache and reloaded the page each time and still the problem exists.

    Thanks.

    #222105

Yes Kevin! 1.3.9 is my version and it doesnt appear a new update in my installation! after clear cache even 🙁

    #222102

I’m still seeing it on 1.3.9. Be sure to clear your cache so you’re seeing the latest version of your site.

    Hey,
So when you deactivate siteorigin and clear your cache you’re still seeing these errors? Have you tried deactivating your other plugins to test if any are conflicting? If you’d like you can send login info and we can take a look at your settings. You can set as a private reply.

    Hello,

If you’ve disabled it in WooCommerce, then you shouldn’t be seeing it on your site. Did you clear your cache after making the change? Can you post a link so that I can take a look?

    thanks,
    Kevin

Ben, thank you for the response. Well, I emptied the cache once and it did nothing. Closed site. Reopened. Cleared cache again…and it’s now good.

    <sigh> Technology!

    Thank you, anyway.
    Enjoy your day.

    Hi!

The int(1) didn’t “come back”. The page is now ok.
However the “ship to a different address? Didn’t display translated, even when I did the translation with Loco translate. Other parts are now translated on the frontend. Just this text stayed in the original language. (not a cache problem, I tested it).
