In reply to: Overlapping sidebar content
Hi Hannah,
I thought all was well, but now the client reports that there is a problem when viewed on an iPad. On a single product page the option choice buttons overlap the sidebar: http://annaandeve.com/wordpress/product/swaddle-strap/
I tried bumping up the padding in the custom CSS (from 35 px to 70px) but it seems to have no effect on either platform.
Is there perhaps a way to shorten the option buttons?

In forum: Ascend ThemeJune 20, 2017 at 10:22 am #149410Good afternoon
We are using Ascend Premium theme for our website and have a set of 4 icon flip boxes on the home page. They are displaying fine on a large screen, but when viewed on a phone (Android or iPhone 5 in landscape) or on an iPad in portrait, the images are not located on the boxes and the words on the front spill out under the box. The back is fine.On iPad in landscape and reduced width on a laptop, the writing on the back and read more button overflow onto the space below.
We are using an image rather than an icon and have set the height to 400px – which is right on a laptop. I don’t particularly want to make the height too great and am not convinced that it is just a height issue.
The site is http://nepetashowcase/co/uk/nc It has a server password on it which I will let you have privately.
I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you
Mandy Sims
Nepeta ConsultingIn forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I’m trying to implement a slide over menu instead of the push down action when the burger menu is clicked on mobile view. Ben sent me this code a while back, but it doesn’t seem to be working? Social Media Management
Mobile Menu Slide Over Code:
#kad-mobile-nav {
height: 0;
}
.kad-nav-inner {
position: relative;
z-index: 10000;
background: #f2f2f2;
}Also, I’m trying to set the first image on this page above the text in the div that’s next to it in iPad Landscape view. The content is in 2 Site Origin Editor widgets in one row. I’ve set 100% width on the containing <div> in a media query and it’s arranged fine on iPhone portrait and landscape and in iPad Portrait but not in iPad landscape. The text is still in the right side of the page and i’d like it pushed underneath the image completely…?

Thank you for the very prompt replies!
I’m using Pinnacle Premium 1.9.8.
When I refresh the site, it returns to normal. But it happens occasionally on multiple devices, iPhones and iPads.Sorry, I’m a real novice, I don’t know how to clear site’s cache… I’m using W3 Total Cache (non-premium). Should I do something with this plug-in?

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello, I am having trouble displaying cinemagraph slide on iPhone & iPad pro using the Virtue – Premium Child. Works great on the desktop. Any info on how to get the videos to load on mobile.
I’ve also created a mobile slide with a square version of the cinemagraph .mp4 & .webm version. Ive also selected the mobile home slider feature to on and selected the correct slide. Ive flushed the cache after each attempt to change settings and it will not display. It looks like it wants to load, you can see script working briefly and then nothing.

Hi Ben
I would have added that code on the advice of one of your team when I was trying to reduce the amount of space around the logo – but I didn’t think it worked anyway. I have now deleted that line of code and menu is now showing up on both mobile and iPad.
Thank you.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Mobile Menu – iPad Landscape
Hello,
Is the mobile menu / burger supposed to show on ipad landscape? If not, how can I get it to show on ipad landscape? It’s showing on portrait, would like it to show on both.

Thanks,

Hi, my site *Login to see link shows up quite well on mobile and iPad except there is no menu shown. Is there a way of showing the menu that does appear on the full site?
Thanks

Now it is getting downright bizarre. I tried loading my dev site on my Mac and it seems fine, cmd r to refresh, right? It shows up fine. My iPad works fine too. My iPhone works fine too.
On my desktop, a large screen and a Windows machine, I’ve done ctrl 5 to refresh several times. The Hero widgets are still blank. I’ve even shrunk the screen and it is still blank.
I went to Customize and it does not work there either. All the Hero widgets are blank. I looked at full screen option, tablet, and phone size. All hero widgets are blank. This is really strange. Ideas?

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Kadence Slider Pro
Can you not use the same Kadence Slider Pro for the Home Page Header and the Mobile Home Header, simultaneously?
I have a slider [kadence_slider_pro id=”1″] (short code) titled “Home.”
I have had it for quite some time using it for the Home Page header, i.e. Theme Options>>Home Page Header and it has worked quite well.
For the Ascend Shopping Demo, there was a different one for the Mobile Home Header. I believe it was set to [kadence_slider_pro id=”3″]. I was playing around with it today and changed the Mobile Home Header to [kadence_slider_pro id=”1″], same as for the Home Page Header.
I didn’t notice it at first, but then my Home Page Slider was gone and it was just a white blank screen. Both the Mobile and Tablet (iPad for me) showed the slider just fine, but all of a sudden the desktop slider disappeared and was just white.
So if I use the same slider for both Home Page and Mobile Page, the Mobile page takes precedent and the Home page is blank.
When I change the Home Page Header and the Mobile Home Header to two different sliders it works fine.I can’t even use the Shortcode entry and pick the one I want. If they are the same, the Mobile supersedes the Home.
Just seems odd I can’t use the same slider in more than one location. Just before I submitted this, I changed them so they are different id’s so I can continune my testing. That means I’ll have to create a new slider for mobile just like the home page one.
