Oh, and I forgot to mention that it is an iPad Mini and that everything is up to date (updated Virtue today, but prob was also in last version) and I’m using a Child Theme but have not changed any Media Queries in the CSS yet.
Still to tidy up Media stuff, but we had to make it live for the media at 99% not 100% working.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: iPad woes
Hi Ben
Finally got casasusegad.com up live on the Virtue theme and the owners and their clients are loving it. So thanks again for a great, flexible theme, and great support. Which leads me to a rather strange endemic problem…
One of their clients emailed them to say they couldn’t ‘view’ the site on their iPad. Just checked myself and what is happening is that (in landscape orientation) neither the long primary menu nor the ‘hamburger’ mobile menu icon appears. Flip the iPad to portrait and the hamburger reappears. Back to landscape and it disappears again (so it is not a quirky cache problem). Works great by physically resizing my laptop browser (real slow at the transition point in both directions).
Any ideas? Reproducible your end?
Best, Colin
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Topbar vs Primary menus
I’m probably not being clear. We use the Topbar only for our menu. Having a menu in the Primary Navigation area, which I guess is where the Header is did not look good over our image. We could not get a good color so the menu would stand out. So we defined a menu for the Topbar. At first I left the primary menu undefined, but it would print out “No menu selected” so I created a menu for the Primary navigation which is simply empty. At least it stopped printing “no menu selected.” Everything seems good on the laptop or desktop, but on the mobile or iPad, the menu is too long to show up, so it resorts to putting three hash bars on the topbar, they are white. But it also puts three hashbars on the primary location and they are white (sometimes when you go to other pages it turns orange). The hashbars on he topbar work fine. If you click on it then the menu drops down and you can select what you want. However, the hashbars on the Primary Navigation, do not work. The link is http://www.cagesplus.com/dev

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Kadence Slider settings
Hello,
I’d like to be able to set the Slide Fade Time.
I have found the Slide Pause time setting, but is there a way to set the Slide Fade Time? Also, regarding Responsive image sizes?
I found the Mobile set max slider height setting.
One for Tablet and one for Mobile. They were both blank.
I set them as follows:
Tablet 381, Mobile 155I based these pixel settings on this math:
Slider Image Actual Sizes are 1170px x 600px
(defaults full width (crop) 1140)Width x Height:
Desktop: 1140px x 584px (max high) 584
iPad: 744px x 381px (max high) 381
iPhone: 303px x 155px (max high) 155Screen ratio = 1.95:1 (or 51%)
Is this correct?
Thanks,

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Desktop vs Mobile – How to fix typography
In forum: Virtue ThemeThe text of this simple site looks just fine on my Mac.
However, it doesn’t look the same way on iPad and also letters are too light on a PC.
Is this something I forgot to setup?
*Login to see linkIn forum: Virtue ThemeI would like to make my secondary menu a bit transparent when using “shrink sticky” menu – like on the demo site:
*Login to see linkAnd is ther any way to still show the main link on my secondary menu when using an ipad? i makes ses that it disappear on a phone, but not on the ipad, special if the top menu also is disappearing.
In forum: Virtue ThemeApologies if this has been brought up elsewhere – I did a search but was unable to locate any existing threads on this subject.
I have an issue with images (including google map) not displaying in iOS (on iPhone 5, 6 and iPad Air using iOS8.2). When this happens, which seems to be intermittently, it also seems to have the effect of disabling the mobile menu – the menu block still displays, but pressing it does not expand it to show the links to the other pages.
I’ve tried erasing history (including erasing history and data from the settings section of iOS) but this makes no difference.
In some instances it will work on the iPhone and not the iPad, then vice versa. I’ve not experienced the missing image issue in the desktop version of Safari or Chrome.
Any help/guidance with this matter would be appreciated.

(Ignore the ‘cropped text’ in the images – these are just temporary images)In forum: Virtue ThemeI’m building a site with a client, and the header image, a transparent GIF, renders fine on Safari on Mac and Chrome on an iPad, but it comes up with a black background on a PC in four browsers: Chrome, IE 11, Firefox and Safari. I don’t know how to attach screenshots to this post, but the url is *Login to see link Any help would be appreciated!

March 14, 2015 at 5:44 pm #34177This css needs to change:
#content .main {float:right;}You should be using:
@media (min-width: 992px) { body .main.col-lg-9 {float:right;} }See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/frequently-asked-questions/
The secondary menu is supposed to be hidden and replaced with your mobile menu on ipad. weather in landscape or portrait. Do you have a mobile menu set?
Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeSo, website on pc works great. I go to ipad landscape, all is well, except the secondary navigation not showing. Ipad portrait also shows no secondary nav, but also has a bigger problem, as none of the thumbnail images are clickable, none of the order options work and the add to cart button doesn’t either. This is also true for a 7″ tablet I have and my iphone 5, both not working in landscape or portrait. I deactivated all plugins other than the absolutely necessary ones and it doesn’t make any difference. I did add some css modifications, though. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Your demo store works fine on all these same devices.
Thanks!
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
You recently helped me resize my logo and primary/secondary menus. I also tweaked my top spacing for the menus to get the horizontal alignment I was looking for.
However, today I noticed that the mobile menu left top box corner (mobile menu is to the right) is just underneath the logo wording when displayed on my iPad Mini in landscape mode. Is there any way to nudge the mobile menu down a bit so that this doesn’t happen on mobile devices in landscape mode? It seems like it has room in portrait, so that doesn’t seem to be an issue. Regular desktop menu looks just the way I want it.

Hi, When I view website (www.createatwarburton.com.au)on an ipad, the mobile menu bars do not appear so you are unable to see the other pages.
It appears when holding ipad in portrait mode but when you turn ipad, you can not see this.Do you know if this can be fixed?
ThanksIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
sorry, another question: On iPhone I’ve seen that the pictures in the foodbar widget are too big. On PC & iPad all everything looks well, but on iPhone the pictures are to oversized.
Do you have any idea how to change this?

thanks, regards
